Does anyone have suggestions for uprising Chinese boutique brands?

Also I’ve stumbled across this brand AEC. Their prices are significantly higher than Spexcel, somewhere in the realm of MBO. Their designs are also quite striking, a little too much cheerful for me.

Probably saw the prices, hence the face. :D Yea, I know, this is a bit too expensive, just wanted to share this with the OP asking for a boutique brand. At this price I think they could be labeled that.

$77.00 for a bike jersey on AliEx? Come on.
My guess $3.25 in materials and labor to produce and ship. Rest is profit. ;D

I don't see how some people justify spending these designer handbag prices for kits only to show off at Starbucks on that Sat morning group ride?
Big fuk whoop. I guess I'm more utilitarian: Ride like hell , sweat in them,  wash, and if they get destroyed...toss into trash. Done.

Nahhhhhhhhhh its not that simple. Material and cut do matter a LOT. And some of us, hopefully most, like to be comfrtable at the end of a long hot or cold ride.

They unfortunately chose the split front design. I have found that solution to be much less comfortable than a one-piece front. The split means the pants part can roll down.

Skinsuit --> aero --> aero position --> pelvis rotated forward --> pressure on the balls --> that's the wrong chamois.
As someone who mostly rides on the flat, at 80-85kg, at 35+kmh, i've tried plenty of pads, and my favourite two are https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004962411304.html & https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008761784076.html. Both are full foam (no gel), with the same thickness at the front & back, which means you're better cushioned in aero position. I'm instantly veto-ing anything that's not extra padded in the front, having tried a LOT of pads.
And so, this skinsuit has the wrong pad design, unfortunately.
Your mileage will vary, obviously, if you're lighter, if you climb a lot, blablabla, but if you spend a lot of time going on flat straight roads and care about aero, you probably want something more padded in the front.

I absolutely love the Cheji red pads that I now have 4 of them  ;D

Nice, I hate how on most bibs the pad ends up mostly on your lower back. I'll probably try these out. I like riding in a low position it's more comfortable for me.

.. that is your personal opinion.
A thinner pad in front can also reduce the pressure. Just if this didn't work for you it is not stated to be like that for everyone.
You can check out the elastic interface chamois catalogue and you will see several long distance pads with this "stepped" design. Probably at Elastic Interface people know a little bit about what they do.

However, you don't have to buy this skinsuit, so you can save money...

Totally agree - One of the best pads I've ever tried is a Tarstone product, the K-6 if I'm not mistaken, for a skinsuit that costs 1/4 of the more well-known brands.

Now I'm waiting for this one https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005012063389503.html by YKYWBIKE, let's see how it goes.

Are there any summer jersey with higher quality / more "technical" fabrics similar to the likes of Attaquer, MAAP, etc?

I seriously feel like the Ali bibs (I really like Hiserwa) are quite close to some mid- to high range brands as long as they have EI chamois.
The jerseys I've tried (Spexcel, ykyw), while they fit OK, the quality of fabric is just so bad in summer jerseys. Stretchy, sweaty, drapes horribly and loose pockets. I will say some of the long sleeve and "winter" ones are way better but the summer ones are no where near IMO!

Can anyone prove me wrong please?!
I was yapping about the same problem some pages ago... Bibs are generally decent but jerseys are crap compared to well established western brands. Monton and CCN are both very good brands. Did not buy it myself, but seen it on other riders, it is two heads above regular Ali stuff, CCN also makes pro kits for numerous teams and I plan to order custom from them at some point.
