I'm looking for jacket for cycling that will be good on temperatures about 5-10 Celsius.
Have you any tested?

The Spexcel Thermo are nice. As that's very different for everyone. For me they are not hitting 5-10°C , more 10-15.
However, they might be fine. But if you are looking for very similar fabric, but warmer, you can look at Inbike.
They have a bicolor thermal jersey , sleeves have a different color from the body. The fabric is very similar to Spexcel, but it is a bit thicker and definitely warmer.

Well then, rain jackets that do not breathe. Good for emergency and thats it. Call it light wind jacket.....

Are there any current western brands that actually work since PFC's were banned? Modern DWR coatings don't seem to last so jackets quickly wet out and stop breathing.

I have two YKWYbike themal jerseys that I'm quite happy with. They work best around 5-10deg C. In the winter I don't do terribly long rides, but this December I did an 80mi ride around Las Vegas and Lake Meade that started at 4deg C and warmed up to 12 deg C by the time I finished. I was perfectly comfortable for most of it (I did get a little warm near the end and had to open the thermal jersey to stay cool).

I've ridden in them below 5deg C, but I have to pair them with a gilet or something when it gets close to 0, but at that point my hands are ALWAYS the more uncomfortable body part. I've yet to find gloves that work well around 0 deg C.

He's still right when things came to winter clothes. After I've got Endura Pro SL3 winter jerseys for ridiculous low price of 30 euro, all my Ali fleece jerseys became obsolete.

It's a 180€ jacket, the fact you got it luckily for 30€ is relevant only for you.

The membrane is on the outside. Looks like you're wearing a bin bag but I've found the jacket to be very solid in the wet.
Good pit zips too.
The only downside for me is probably that the hood isn't the best, but that's a small price for the test of the package.

Cold rides (around freezing) I almost always have three sets of gloves with me. I almost always start out with thick windproof, water repellant, lobster gloves. When I heat up they’re terrible, and I use like a thicker long glove (not windproof) and sometimes I even need to switch to thinner long glove.

I usually bring a wool liner glove too, just to get the shit dialed in perfectly. I never ride in cold rainy conditions though, for that I guess it would be neoprene gloves.

That's my point, exactly. Even if you can routinely find some kind of 1/2 off deals, that still makes it a $200 jacket. A $200 jacket (at half price!), A $200 pair of winter bibs, a $50 or more pair of gloves, and $50 in various other winter gear (shoe covers, socks, winter skull cap/hat, ear protector, etc.) makes for $500 for just one winter outfit. My bike costs less than that! You can currently buy a Kickr Core for $450. For less than the cost of 1 of western branded winter gear, you can buy a smart indoor trainer with power meter. Cycling in the winter for fitness or training just doesn't make sense unless you can find more affordable winter gear.

I would never rely on ANY Ali store or brand for ANY sort of technical clothing. Just spend the money once and get a good and tested quality product from a reliable brand.

I would agree that there are some fantastic jerseys / jackets coming out of China now - thermal warmth is easy and any of the jerseys will keep you warm. The fit, features and quality of the finish seems to have improved to the point where I find it indistinguishable from some western brands.
The only thing I dont see offered from Chinese brands as yet is any sort of good waterproof offering, which is strange. If they dont have the technology themselves, I wonder why they dont buy in the material in the way that they offer elastic interface chamois in some models of their bibs. Maybe the weather in China means there's not a great demand?? Im not sure, but for me, something like a Perfetto light jacket covers me for more or less 90% of my riding due to the changeable, crappy weather. It truly is fit and forget.

I have recently tried the Paris HP women and it's better or on par from the known brands I had so far. Perfectly padded and just the right size for me. I opted for the droptail bibs and the mechanism is good.
Look out for a store coupon and stack it with other coupons and you can get them under 50, which is really reasonable.

Yep,right. But it's quality and versatility are worth the full price. I do have wosawe, ykyw, darevie winter jerseys (and northwave), they became almost useless after I got PRO SL3, I do use darevie for very short rides to nearby shop or a post office, others just occupy some place in my wardrobe. The price of all those jerseys together is equal to Endura's full price, but they are useless, so it's enormous Endura's quality/price advantage. Like 100 quality/180€ to 5quality/180€. Same about Endura Singletrack pants vs Rockbros cycling pants
I do use Darevie, ykyw summer jerseys and bibs - they are better and cheaper than Endura's. But for winter clothes I'd better choose western brands. Same about shoes.

From the warmst. I actually like them all, but I think the two middle ones are my favorite. Can wear them from 5 to 15 degrees adding vest or different base layers.
