That's an option I didn't consider, but kinda makes sense. Originally, I thought that there might be some racey variation of a utility belt or something along those lines (something that you would always have close to your body and could easily use with multiple sets of outfits) - but never seen anything like that.

I've worn nothing but Assos and Castelli for years, but I'm done. These $11 bibs are amazing for the price, and still amazing if you disregard the price and compare them directly to the status brands. I've found others as well (can't get links right now as getting errors from ali) with the blue "EI" pad that are really good.

As far as laundry goes, I've washed everything for years on delicate with low detergent, and thrown stuff in the dryer selecting low or no heat and running it for an hour. No damage at all. Just don't use some preprogramed cycle that throws heat.

I remain skeptical that ali winter kit has the wide temp range of the materials used by Assos et al, but I've got pretty much a lifetime supply of their fall/winter gear that I've bought used at reasonable prices. Can't bring myself to pay 150-300 for cycling clothing, ever.

So, 4 or 5 rides. Not terribly long, I don't normally do more than 3 hrs. Adequate for that.

It looks fairly new and good fit/quality. Specially for womens since there isn't much offer to them.

This might have been already discussed, I forgot - serious question regarding cycling gear of the skin-tight minimal-storage variety: What do you do about everyday carry essentials (full-size phone, fabric-mauling bunch of keys and a non-minimal wallet at the very least)?

Phone in back pocket, key under a rock at home, wallet is probably in a cupboard somewhere (haven't used it for years).

I have one of those phone cases with a front flap that I only use when I go riding. I have some money, my id and a credit card in there. And I just carry one key (front door) with me.
