Looking for 2x11 cassette recommendations. Thinking of just going Shimano but wondering if anyone can recommend me any reliable ones.

Spedao road cassette is running fine.  I installed 3 on 3 different bikes and they are performing absolutely comparable to an 11sp Ultegra.

It is a hex nut but I couldn't find a socket thin enough to get in there. I have occasionally been able to make adjustments by wedging a small flathead screwdriver or two in there and turning the spindle, but that is very difficult. I ended up returning the pedals because they were in fairly sorry state after two years, and the bearing on one was very stiff.


The Venzo pedals weight about the same but there is enough room to get a normal socket in there, so they should be maintainable.

An update on maintenance for the Zeray ZP-108S pedals. Last time I discussed it on this thread, I was trying to find a socket thin enough to get in and unscrew the bearing cone. I tried grinding one thin enough but never managed. It  turns out the solution is simply to wedge a flathead screwdriver in there and turn the pedal axle on the other side. I think this is the perfect RD alignment tool especially for travel. It's easy to disassemble, not very heavy and can fit a backpack or luggage bag.

I have this one.  Its fine.  Its a bit fiddly.  I wound up scoring a line in the length so I could make sure the "pointer" was always at the same/right angle when making measurements from the top/bottom of the wheel.

I have those too they work well but are kind of flimsy as there is no carbon between the bolts
I like these better they are same weight or maybe a gram lighter and much stiffer.

As you go below weight of these I find you start having problems as they don't hold the bottle so well.

I have a heavy duty RD hanger alignment tool at home, but I'm currently traveling with my gravel bike. The other day I fell riding a tight single track switch back and bent the RD hanger. Something like this seems a bit easier to travel with.

’ve had some issues with carbon bottle cages before, specifically the Velobuild ones, so I now try to avoid carbon cages and use other materials instead.

They’re cheap, reasonably light and bottle retention has been good so far. Not the fanciest option, but I prefer them over cheap carbon cages for daily use.

Elite has plenty of really cheap models, great, durable, i don't see any reason why i would buy a bottle cage from ali.

How's the grip on the water bottles? Bought a pair of cheap nylon cages last time (not this specific model) and would like a bit more grip.
