Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)

I'm happy with mine and I was comfortable when a friend was looking for an Endurance frame to recommend she ordered a LCR018. Light Carbon generally seem to do what they say and all the supplied parts fit together. I also considered an Ican Fl1 but their selection of colours wasn't quite right for me.

I’m 182cm with short legs and ordered 54 size of frame and accidentally got 56 frame.
I tried to fit this 56 frame, but it was too big. LC send me 54 size, and this was perfect with 120mm stem lenght.
56 seat tube was way too high for me.

I am 180 cm with 84 cm inseam, and thinking about getting the frame size 54, but not sure about the stem lenght.
Do yo use a seatpost with or without offset? Thanks for the info!

That was exactly my point. I do not expect that either.  However, when I asked the same question to LightCarbon representative they sent me a size chart table that claim that 56 size frame support riders up to 193cm which I dissregarded as correct.

LightCarbon representative also told me to measure my stem lenght (which is 87cm) and compare it with bike standover height which for 83.13cm for 58 size frame. Bike standover height should be 2-3cm shorter than rider's stem lenght which in my case is 4cm shorter. Hence my question if anyone of my size or even taller ride 58 size frame ?

I really like this frame but it sounds that there is no chinese frame that support my height. The similar problem I have with tantan X68 frame. Thier 58 size has even smaller bike standover height.

Same numbers. Have both, I ride with no offset and a 90 mm stem (size according to LCR) and I feel the position on the bike is still pretty aggressive.

Looks great!  Very close to what I'd like to do, when finances allow. 

About the weight, if you're not happy with that, the wheels at 1750 grams seem to be the biggest offender.  In contrast, a pair of 9Velo Road Disc LV 2.0 Series 24H/24H in 45 width weigh 1309g, nearly a pound lighter at about $1000 usd. 

Moving away from the all season version of the GP5000s, and down to 30mm would save another 150g and would likely measure 31-32mm once inflated on a 21mm internal rim such as the 9Velo. 

TPU tubes, if you haven't already would shave another 140g or so.  If you chose to do all of this the weight would be closer to 7.56kg or 16.6 lbs.

I finally assembled my night rider

Frame: LCR017D - size 56 (i am 182cm)
Wheels: Elitewheels ENT 2.0 50mm
Groupset: Shimano 105 mechanical 12speed (just upgraded rotors to Ultregra ones)
Seatpost: Ryet 3D printed
Pedals: Oniri PD-06
Tyres: GP5000 32mm AS TR

Full build was around 1600 EUR (some import tax for grupset to Slovenia), and bike weight with pedals is 8.3kg (to be honest i expected a bit less, but i am guessing i ENT wheels are not among the lightest?) Anyhow very happy with the bike

I'm about to pull the trigger on this frame.  With my specs in mind, it would be a good improvement over my 16.9 lb aluminum rim brake bike.

Lighter by about 1/2 lb
More aero
12s Di2 instead of ultegra 11s
Clearance for 32mm tires instead of 29mm being a tight squeeze
More stiff/better for sprints in my battle against strangers on Strava. 

Any reason to keep riding my current bike for another year or two?  Could there be a significant improvement in chinese carbon all rounders at this price point?  I just messaged Jim from lightcarbon and it seems there's no new all rounder coming soon, but they do have a new aero bike coming soonish...
