Took the bicycle for a test ride, man this rides nice, smoother than my Venge, but still feels stiff.

Installation was fairly easy in comparison with the Venge, only the bb is a pita without the correct tools.

Here's a photo, I'll remove some spacers in time.

Proper looking bike! In the end I ordered from Yoho, but opted for a SL8 instead. 1 more week before they ship it out. Hopefully the quality is going to be good.

It's a nice frame as well, good luck with the shipment  :)

Also opted for an SL8 from yoho, he send me the final pictures and weight of the frame today. A little over 1300 grams for the fork and frame. What's the total weight of your frame?

Tom just sent me the photos of the bike and he used exactly the same photos that he sent to you. I'm waiting for more photos from him before I pay the full amount.

Not sure what's happening here. +86 136 7012 0157

That's strange. Communication with Tom is not always easy. I paid the full amount upfront via aliexpress. Just to be sure if something happens when i receive the frame.

What color did you buy?

Same colour like yours. I paid 150e over Wise so it comes out cheaper in the end, we'll see how it goes.

Man, I really loved your bike, congratulations.
The paint finish is way better super clean, consistent, and it really looks premium. The handlebar also surprised me a lot, it feels very well made and the finishing looks flawless. Overall, the bike has the presence of a top-tier build.

Are the spacers screen printed as well?

Hey guys, I've been riding my frame from Taiwan Glory for about 1000km on the road, and good two months on the trainer indoors. My fears when starting to ride outdoors were flex in the handlebar and in the seatpost, but those were all gone when going from indoor trainer to the roads. The bike handles perfectly, and the flex is basically gone now that the bike isn't fixed to trainer. When comparing flex in the handlebar to a genuine Colnago C68 my friend rides, It's actually stiffer than Colnago.

That being said I've encountered my first problem. After a longer ride (150km) I started to hear a knocking sound from the BB area, and I also felt a slight "kick" in the crank accompanying the sound.  The next day I've taken the crank and the bb out. The drive side bearing was "stuck" to the crankshaft, but other than removing it and reinserting it to the housing everything was normal, also the bearings run very smoothly.  I've cleaned everything, regreased it, torqued it to spec, but the next ride the same problem reappeared after 50km or so. It's not a s bad as the first time, but still.

The bb is the one supplied with the frame and the groupset is Ultegra di2.

Now my question is, do I need to use spacers for the non drive side as the original Factor frame? Or just changing the bb altogether? Or do you guys have any ideas what could be the problem.

Yeah man, you were always supposed to use the same spacer setup as a real factor. They use the same bb(t47a). You have been riding the bike the entire time without any spacers?  ???

The use of spacers depends more on the chain line and the crank axle being securely fastened without any play.

Not all frames use a T47A bottom bracket. Some replicas of the Factor VAM frame use the standard T47.

Yeah, I've also contacted Tom from Taiwan, and he didn't know what to tell me. The BB and the frame without any spaceres, and there was no rubbing or anything. The cranks spinned without any problems. I'll order the necessary spacers and try again :)

Thanks!

Mine has the T47A. I'll just buy the spacers and try with them.

Thanks.

Getting the spacing correct can be a PITA. different manufacturers require different amounts of spacers. Would be best to just replace the BB with a regular sram one and go off their chart.
