VeloBuild's new road frame: https://www.velobuild.com/products/velobuild-2024-vb-r-268-carbon-fiber-aero-road-frame-disc-integrated-cables

Has anybody try or use a 700c/40 mm tubeless tire?   I know the specs have a max 700c/32 which is what I have in one of my wheels (Hutchinson Challenge 32 mm) and I love it, fast, no punctures. I was reading in BikeRadar and they have a revue of the faster "gravel" tire, the Hutchinson  Caracal Race and it only comes in a 700c/40. It is just for curiosity that I ask this question. The Hutchinson Challenge I have it is also great in gravel and fast.
Thank you.

I am about to switch to di2. How do you hang the battery in the seatpost? Any tip?

Find tarmac sl7 seatpost holder on aliex. Fits on mine.

I finally got my new Velobuild 268 on the road. After about 4 months on the indoor trainer, I got my position dailed in and finished the build yesterday evening.
Built without any problems.

I rode it about 60km. Some cobbles as well. And everything was OK. Only problem, i forgot to charge my batteries, so could not test it as I wanted. However, it felt really great!

Full SRAM Force ETAP AXS E1 (*edited - Thanks @Bodoman)
Ican Aero 50 Plus carbon wheelset
GP5000 s tr 32 mm
Total cost: €3.600

I bought the integrated handlebar supplied with the bike, but the stem was too long. So I bought another handlebar from Kocevlobike on aliexpress. I had to design and 3d print the spacers to make a transition from the velobuild frame to the Kocevlobike handle bar.

Received my frame this week - overall positive impression, some minor imperfections in the paint that I can live with. Brake caliper mounts were not properly faced after painting (if at all), will need some work. Did anyone else attempt to resolve without dedicated (expensive...) tooling? Still awaiting delivery of wheels which are a few weeks out, so can't verify caliper fitment yet.

I found that my steerer internal diameter is only approximately Ø22,3-22,6mm - too small for the Deda 70mm expander to fit (requiring >23,5mm). Seems like most readily available alternatives require >23-23,5mm. Anyone else have experience with this? Perhaps the steerer has an inconsistent thickness, will figure out as I cut it down.

I am BTW modeling/mocking-up a 3D-printed spacer/transition piece between the stock headset dust cover and the SL7 stem. Think it can work and look decent enough.

How it went?

I started building this bike, and I might have a problem with the bottom bracket. I bought a ZTTO BB86. I can push the non-drive side in without any problems, but I can't do the same on the drive side. After I push the drive side in, there are about 4 mm left that need to be threaded in. The problem is that I'm not sure whether I should use that much force. Is it normal to need significant force to thread the last 4 mm, or could there be something wrong?
I'm using a socket wrench to install it because I can't tighten it with the ZTTO tool that came with the bottom bracket. It feels like it's too tight, which makes me think something isn't right. I'm worried about how much force it will take when it gets closer to being fully tightened, that i might crack the frame.

That was my first BB when im assembling bike but inner seals broke. I changed with the shimano dura ace and fitted without any issues, now im using token ninja (original version of this ZTTO)

Is that ice-break paint or something else? Three colors? (matte green, glossy green, yellow insides)
