What flat mount are people using for their front brake? I’m using the Riderever Triva, but can’t get enough clearance between the mounted brakes and my 140mm rotors. Does anyone have an AliExpress link they can share?

I am using the one that came with the triva brakes. Where exactly are you lacking clearance ?

The version I bought didn't have flat mount adaptors with it (eBay purchase).
Front fork and it doesn't seem to have enough "height" to it. I'm using 140mm rotors and the flat mount I have says it's for 140 and 160mm but doesn't seem to have enough clearance. I also tried it with a flat mount from a Giant Propel (where the wheels and rotor) were from and that didn't work either. I'm sure I've mounted the brakes correctly ie not back to front.

Did anyone find that they had to trim their seat post? I'm 180cm and ordered a medium and I had to trim the seat post, just to be able to get to the right position. I am using an ISM Adamo saddle which does seem have a high seat rail though. Mind you I do have little legs.

Yes had the same problem on a frame that surely isn't too big and with rather long legs for my size

Just received my frame today, its my first time building a bike and whilst looking inside frame I noticed some inconsistencies in the carbon in the headtube. Primarily on the bottom front and right of the headtube, there is some flaking carbon and a sort of void? Is this normal or it something I should be concerned about?

Just got my frame in, with the new alloy stem. I was inspecting it before I cut the steerer, but I’m perplexed. Anyone know where the top cap is supposed to screw in? I can’t see it screwing into anything. Also the half washer as well, what is this used for?

NBolt goes into your headset compression plug and washer between the headset and bearing if you need to space it out

Great thanks, just to clarify. On compression / expander plug, remove black cap. Apply the stem and stem cover and use the NBolt through the stem cover into the compression plug, correct? As for the washer is the picture correct?

That C shim should go on top of the compression ring (metal ring/c ring that sits around the steerer tube and on the upper headset bearing) and under the stem/spacer.

Is the C shim needed? I asked Chris where to put it and he just told me it's optional. So I didn't bother putting it.

The C shim is needed when the stem is rubbing against the headtube when everything is compressed. The rubbing does not let your handlebar move freely. This was not necessary for the carbon stem but the alloy one comes just a bit more down that gives a bit of rubbing when fully compressed.

I recently placed an order with VeloBuild for a TT-023, went with the custom paint job; I have to confess, I took some of the images in this thread and applied the paint job with ChatGPT; See below, I'll continue to post a real photo once I receive the frame and starit the build-out. Where did you find the rear disc for 475 USD? That's very, very cheap and I can't find it on the website for less than 780.

My gripe with that disc is that it is only 28mm wide, but for 475 thats still a good deal. Tagoola, and DFS have 29 and 30mm discs for $600 USD.
