Most of the rim explosion/delamination seem to happen when applying quick pressure to seat the tire in, before you put sealant. I delaminated a rim exactly like that, due to leak at valve stem seat.

D78CU-33 T1100 rims UD paintless:

3.8mm or 5.0mm carbon spokes, about 3.2*34+283+500+500= 1391.8 g/pair
3.2mm super light carbon spokes, then about 1351.8g/pair

ultralite HS606 hubs 20/20H titanium 54T rachets and aluminum freehub, and 3.2mm super light carbon spokes, then 2.2*40+230+500+500= 1318g/pair

What are your thoughts about the new wheel decal design? Particularly the size of the decals in relation to the rim depth. To my unprofessional eye, the decals should be larger to fill out the space more. Similar to Zipp's 808.

I think for the moment Peter might be using the same size decals regardless of rim depth. I messaged him about this earlier, and waiting to hear back.

Yeah they maybe could scale a little bit with the rim depth but as the letters are cut, I think the overall look matches the rim.
