Has anyone in the US ordered recently? I suspect purchases would incur tariffs, correct? Was really looking to get a wheelset soon, but perhaps I'll have to wait.

Great, ill probably go for those then. 30mm would probably be better aero, but i think i rather take the comfort.
Bought T1100 50mm with CX Ray spokes, ended up at 1275gr for the pair. Quite nice.
Will be fun to compare D50CU-33 with GP5000 S TR 32c vs Elite edge gravel 45mm deep with Caracal Race. Both great tires, but this wheel setup will be over 200gr lighter per wheel. The elite ones weight 1380gr without tires.

I own the 33 with 26 inner and installed a Michelin Power Cup 30mm which came up 34mm and a Vittoria Corsa Pro 30mm which came up 32mm.
The Michelin is wider with a rounder shape, the Vittoria mire pointy in the middle, bot sure which ones I will ride.

My friend measured a conti gp5000 30C at 32mm on that 33 wide rim. Which is why i chose 30C on 33 rim, in fact, for the rule of 105. For a heavy rider, aka, me, at the back i'd put 32C though. The 3 friends i ordered these rims for are all light enough that i did 30C front and back.

I read on bicycle rolling resistance that these michelin tyres aren't meant for wide rims, because the thread pattern that's meant to be rolled on is very narrow. But last time i checked i feel like the widest they made was 28C, so this might have changed. But it's because of that that i never bought them. I'm french, i'm curious how they compare w GP5000, given the rolling resistance tests pretty much the same and they're usually a tad cheaper.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

I read the same, but I had a 28mm Michelin Power Cup (non-TLR) on 21 inner and the 30mm (TLR) on 25mm and now 26mm inner.
Narrow indeed, but will work.

The new Pirelli seem to be fine also.

I find it confusing, so I'll just ask, what's the difference between Steel or ceramic bearings ? I've got that ceramic is lighter, but concerning the durability, I've read that ceramic is better somewhere, and steel is better somewhere else, where is the truth?

I opted for steel on the 20H hub. 1170g for D50CU-33 T1100 20H w/ 3.8mm carbon spokes. Have not seen anyone post significantly lighter ceramic version of these.

I went for the 32mm GP5000 s tr tires since i'm used to gravel tires, comfort is important for me. I was also thinking about going the 30mm instead for aero reasons, but at the same time i'm probably a to week biker for even noticing the difference

FWIW another data point. I am running 32mm gp5000 AS TR tires on a set of Peter’s 24mm internal wheels and they measure 34 mm inflated to 55 PSI.
I have a hope until someone can prove otherwise.

I run:

28 mm Conti GP 5000 on the 33 mm OW/26 mm IW rims, stretching to 31,5 mm @72 PSI
32 mm Schwalbe G One allroad 33 mm OW/26 mm IW, stretching to 37,4 mm @40 PSI

I did my first 95 km test ride on the T1100 20/20H carbon spoke wheel set yesterday. Compared to the T800 Sapim CX Ray set, it is ~ 180 g lighter + what ever the difference between GP 5000 and the G One is. The ride feels similar to the non-carbon spokes wheel, maybe a little bit harsher.
Concerning acceleration and cross wind stability, I think the difference is also only marginal.
Once again, I was amazed how „easy“ it is to accelerate beyond 25 km/h compared to my old alloy Mavic wheelset. I rode > 35 km/h in sectors where I previously only did ~ 32 km/h, but maybe that was only the hype for new equipment.

The biggest difference between T800/Sapim and T1100/Carbon was in my mind, what happens when I hit a big pot hole? After the first hour, I gained trust into the carbon spokes and rode the wheel set more or less like I always do. Of course avoiding bigger pot holes but not minding manhole covers etc.

Overall I am also very satisfied with the T1100 wheel set. Would I go with carbon spokes again for the minimal gains? Only time will tell..

because my 28mm Powercup clincher had a sidewall cut before my biketouring trip, i put on 28mm gp5k clinchers as thats what i have around.

on my d50cu-33, powercups balooned to ~32mm, while gp5k got to like a lil under 30mm.
as the gp5k sidewall kinda flush to rim wall, i think if you are taking onto some gravel part, its best to go bigger tire to protect the rim lip as i already had few scratches

I will also definitely go for 30 mm GP 5000 once my road frame arrives. I just put on the 28 mm for testing purpose, since I had those tires flying around. 28 mm GP 5000 are definitely a little bit to narrow for the 33 mm rim.

@Peter

Is there a rotor for N3W available for the 20h hubs?

just sharing info.
i have a 2021 aluminium tcr that i wanted to sell due to cant upkeep too many bikes n kinda narrow tire clearance.

this is what d50cu-33 looks like with 28mm powercup balooned to 32mm at the chain stays  :P
/like 1mm gap on drive side(even rim gap to stays), n 3.5mm on other side

I’m still waiting for an update on the 18-18Hole hub that’s currently under testing—Peter must be swamped lately, as communication has been a bit tricky.

In the meantime, I’m in the market for a new set of wheels—something in the 50–60mm range, ideally using the wider 24IW or 26IW T1100 rims.
I’ve sold my CRW 50/60s, so I’m looking for a quality replacement.

I’m particularly interested in wheels built with the Vonoa SLR520 spokes (5.2mm)—the 4th gen carbon spokes that come in at just 2.3 grams each. It’s surprising how few OEMs are using Vonoa (Stren) spokes, considering they were one of the originals in this space. Maybe it’s a cost issue, or perhaps they’re simply not offering the 4th gen option yet.

Also the carbon chainrings—definitely interested once I can confirm the weights and will get a set as well.

Hi,
I got my wheels some months ago and I would like to give a little review.
The contact with Peter was really amazing.  8) He answerd fast and very detailed to my questions.
The delivery was perfect in time (as promised - got before pictures of the wheelset).
Wheelset (55 mm, Carbonspokes, paintless surface) is superlight 1178 gr., the paintless look is very nice. the spoke tension is super („all the same“).
Mounting tubeless tires was easy, without any issue.
I did some miles on it and I am very satisfied (stiff, good aerodynamics).
I can highly recommened wheels from Xiamen Carbon Sports, Peter is super
