I was finally able to add a shim under the FD mount, it made a huge difference in adjustability. Super easy to get the limits right after this change too. No issues on a quick 11 mile ride earlier today, hoping this solved my chain drop issue for good.

Rubber, and I only needed a tiny little strip of 1/16" rubber. You could probably get away with stacking a few layers of old inner tube to accomplish the same thing.

The LeMond method may not be 100% accurate, but a 4cm difference is really too much... are you sure your inseam is 84cm?
Something's not quite right... since you're also unsure about the frame size, have you ever considered consulting a biomechanic?

I measured it several times yesterday in bibs (83 cm). Maybe I just prefer a lower saddle height. Unfortunately I don't have a biomechanic in town

I’ve managed to improve my fit with myvelofit, and I’ll be using it to dial in my ro88 fit once I finish building it. I paid for the annual plan because I like to tinker a lot, but there’s shorter and cheaper plans. Might be a good way to get your saddle in a good place. I’ve reduced my saddle height a fair bit over the past few years and it’s much more comfortable, however too low and I get patella pain.

Already at 83 cm, the LeMond method returns a saddle height 1 cm lower than at 84 cm...but the difference with your current saddle height is still very noticeable.
There are various videos/tutorials on how to determine the correct saddle height and/or other adjustments...try looking at Neill Stambury's videos.

Made some progress with the build, handlebars came today and udh to direct mount hanger. I’ve test fitted the bars ready for a fit on the trainer tomorrow, then once I’m happy will chop the steerer and trim hoses. Does preload hold the spacers in place?

Got a slightly lighter sworks seatpost on the way too. Currently weighs 7kg without tape, cages or expander, which is 1.6kg less than my steel bike. Crazy how thin it is in comparison.

Any recommendations for a computer mount?

My first integrated bar at 110mm x 360mm/380mm. You can see they spelt length wrong on the stem ha, I wonder if there’s any way to remove all that text. In the same order I got some paasmap clothes that say “made in china, designed in Chinese” which I found very funny.

Anyway I’ve not ridden these yet so can’t really recommend yet, however the build quality seems really good, they seem sturdy, I’d hope so at 375g. It was fairly easy to route the hoses with a trusty bit of brake cable and electrical tape

Which Sworks seatpost have you ordered? Just curious as I hadn't appreciated that they were the same size as the R088.

I hope theyre the same! Found a used 380mm 15mm one on eBay, apparently has an effective 0mm setback.

not available on Aliexpress however there is a thread on this brand on the forum XM Carbon Speed.

Is there a mount for a bike computer on the bike? Am I seeing it correctly? And is it attached to the stem? Could I ask what kind of mount it is?

I'm seeing mostly basic paint jobs on here. Does anyone have experience with a bit more complex paint designs and adding logo's? I wonder what that process is like and if it's decent quality.

I'm tempted to go for a one part UD carbon gloss look and one part chameleon green. In my head it looks amazing, but if not done properly I rather go for the save (and cheaper) option.
