Jagwire makes some that's quite cheap, so I would just get that.

I‘ve also ordered a frameset today, size 50! Estimated shipping to Germany by end of December… hope to find some more input here… will order BB and some other smaller parts till then… complete GRX setup will be swapped from my old Cube Nuroad within some Elitewheels Carbon Rims…

Finished the build, had my first ride today!

Great ride feel. Very soft feel, especially with those 35C tires. But the frame, maybe the special seat-post takes meaningful amount of road vibration and bumps. On the other hand, it feels also stiff when putting in a little power.
Even though I reused my 105 DI2 it has the New Bike Feel. Very agile with that short handlebar (80mm). Handlebar is a little to narrow in the end, If I could, I would probably go wider (38cm -> 40cm), as my previous HB had all flare, but this has none. Anyways, that's more Aero, right?! 

For building up, my key learnings:

• Make sure that you have the right BB and the right tool for the BB, as I already wrote before I made mistake here. Also there seems to be a couple of different diameters, numbers of notches etc. for T47 BB tools.
• Fork cutting - I would say this is the most risky situation, as you need to cut with an angle AND - according to the one page manual from LC - "make sure there is a gap of 4-5mm between the top of the stem and the expander plug". Even the usual tools on Alix are only useful for cutting 90º - I build a contraption with miter box + angle to get it into the right direction but used a jigsay in the end anyways. The cut is not particular bad, but not beautiful either - If more experienced builders can share their process here, that will probably be helpful You probably have to cut 90º - I didn't read the "manual" very carefully. Check next post.
• Besides cabling the nasty brake hoses through handlebar + frame there were no other major obstacles.
• No sounds from the frame, even putting in 1kW, no squeaks etc. - BUT only the rattling of the rear brake hose in the frame when moving vertically with the bike - As some of you mentioned: having a liner may help here. I tried tape, but ofc the hose will move inside the frame when you turn the handlebar and the tape will cut loose

The only thing that is scaring me now is the angled steerer cut - never had that with any build before. I’m always nervous with a steerer cut anyway and have a very good standard cutting guide, but it’s flat, so is going to be pretty useless here by the looks of things.
Any tips on how to achieve a good cut?
I’m guessing trying to use the handlebar with it very well protected would be the easiest way to get the exact angle as a cutting guide, but even that is leaving things open to a potential disaster!

I don't understand why you need to cut the fork with an angle ?
Moreover, the expander plug is straight at the top.

maybe that's also right, and I did it wrong - which is very probable, because I never had an integrated HB before - I used a sharpie to mark the cut line in parallel to the handlebar - that's not 90º - but you are right, the top stem should be 90º  

They also had a closer look to the one page guide with the frame. The expander should be parallel - I edited the previous post and removed the cutting section.

I will check again tomorrow and maybe file a little more.

Yeah that looks like 90°. A regular steerer tube saw guide should work.

Thanks for the clarification. Have you applied the tightening torque of the guide ? Some of them look too much.

What is about the aero of the bike ? Does it feel fast ?

Tariffs are paid by the consumers. You can hopefully ask light carbon to set the price of the frame to 120 USD, so that you only pay a fraction of the tariffs.

That sentence only applies to US residents. For the others, it mostly implies we paid too much because USD lost 1% value which the announcement yesterday.

I looked on Amazon with stuff that didn't break a bank and were delivered fast. The tool looked the same like this one:

Someone with the out front mount mind measuring it's length out front of the bars? Trying to figure if it will fit the larger form factor bike computers like a garmin 1050 or 1040.
