Hey Biggiebaksteen,
Yeah the seat-tube lengths are very short on the LCR018 in the larger sizes. You probably should start by emailing LightCarbon and determine if 200mm is the true maximum stick-out of the seat post, or if they have a longer post available in the proper aero profile. It seems odd to me that they wouldn't have a solution for tall riders - but direct contact with them is the only way to be sure.
You noted that you had a fitting recently. With the answer from LC, I'd imagine that they'd review the specs and tell you if it fits and what size cranks/stem/handlebar/seatpost setback would be best for you.
Good luck!
Hi !
yeah i just asked what the seatpost lenght is. They say online it has a minimum insert lenght of 200m. The seatpost in find online is 400MM wich makes for 200MM of space to use.
I asked LC what they think about my fit and they recommended a size 56 wich is even smaller. I looked at the numbers and figured out that this was to small. I asked again that i have a difficult time figuering out if the size 58 is big enough. The only reply i get is that it is my own risk for choosing a frame size, so its not really helping out.
I saw some people who are even taller than me (190cm) that have purchased this bike. Thats why im looking for advice here!
Thanks for your response.
(sorry english isnt my first language so my grammar might be wrong)
