But we’re talking about what comes with SRAM.

I personally ditch anything steel and replace with Ti, just for corrosion resistance.
It also means I can swap all the bolts on my bikes so they’re either 4mm 5mm or 6mm, then I don’t have to carry stupid big multi tools.

No, the frame is designed for 140mm discs at the rear, and an adapter is needed for 160mm Disc 😬

You're not necessarily incorrect. The frame is simply designed to accept 140mm rotors like many road bikes. You just need to use the adaptor to fit 160mm discs at the back. This is what I will be doing.

cycloholic: Yeah that is basically it. Bolt length depends on frame thickness, Shimano supply bolts for 25mm frame thickenss (LCR018-D) should be that (can not confirm that on 100%, I dont have my frame yet ) as standard with calipers, if you need something else you need to buy separate and shimano rear 160mm adapter is sold separately also (Shimano SM-MA-R160D/D) it does not come with a frame.

so basically you just need to buy goupset with calipers and then just Shimano SM-MA-R160D/D adapter and you should have everything you will need.
I have no idea how Sram does it .

Thanks so much for clarifying that. Wasn't totally clear that bolt length was the same for both direct mount and adapter mount on the Shimano manual. Really cleared that up. Can't wait to get my frame now. Few more weeks hopefully! Have a 58 in chameleon hs08 incoming.

Finally placed my order after lurking since pre-production, going with size 52 raw glossy finish.

Additional lead time for customizations so will be 50 - 60 days out even with UPS Express.

According to the drawings in the catalog, the front is a 160mm mount and the back a 140mm.
See the image, specific measurements marked in green.

I received photos of my frame. It is finished. There are 2 issues with the front fork though. They forgot a decal and there is a part of the design painted in another way. they are going to fix this the coming week. overall I'm pretty happy with how my altered Eurobike design worked out.

Front adapter is supplied as standard for both 140 and 160 mm with shimano and sram calipers, It is the same adapter just turn it upside down according if you want 140 or 160 so no worry about front.
Just for back you need buy separate adapter if you want 160mm
