Hi Rex, I think there must have been a misunderstanding. You said the price of the frame was 900 dollars, and 1 paint color would cost 30 dollars. I assumed that the 900$ didn’t include custom paint (because you said it costed 30$ per colour) or shipping ($125), yes you said it’d include headset and thru axles. You’re either covering up a mistake or there has been some kind of misunderstanding? I went through Alisa with sourcing the custom paint, so I don’t really know what you are talking about. Maybe you can clear it up.

Since you want gravel/endurance ride bike why wouldn't you choose Lightcarbon: LCR018-D over this frame? I am in the same situation as You and comfort/ more tire clearence/ aero/ maintaining speed in this case is more important to me than less bike weight since i will not use this bike on climb.

I am still in the deciding phase of what bike to get, but The light carbon would be a little redundant. My gravel bike already can fit 40+ tires. Not sure if i can get used to that eagle eye design either.

The LTK is a snappier bike that can still take chubby tires, is  aesthetically pleasing, and would be going on climbs in my case.

That said, I cant tell you that you will be able to make use of the potential difference between the LCR018-D and the LTK266-D-SL. Nobody but a bike fitter can do that.

If you just want a fun bike to ride, I would just buy whichever one you like the look of best. After all riding the bike is what matters.

Final weight is 6,280kg as pictured (but without the Fly bottles)



The build was straight forward. They only issue was the M5 bolt from the seatpost clamp, that I had to switch out with a 5mm shorter one. Fit is not final, need to get lower and a bit longer. There is some weight savings still to make.
I liked the "Mixtape" paintjob that Specialized put on some Tarmac SL6 frames, so I wrapped the frameset with vinyl stripes. Not sure if i'll keep it that way, but thats the beauty of vinyl wrap.

Did about 550km on it in the last 8 days. It basically rides like a TCR. It just gets the job done without any fuss. There is no buss, no noise at all from the bike, which is quite nice. For the ZEN wheels I'll write something down at the propper place. Not as good as the Newmens, a lot better than the XMCS I've had issues with.

What Vinylstripes you bought? You have a Special technique for that or freestyle? Have a blackmatte Tantan and perhaps this is a possibility to Upgrade the optic.

great build. Could you specify the exact model number of the Heppe thru axles you used? I'm looking to upgrade mine... No problems with the ones supplied by LT, just as others have noted they don't match the build quality of the frame.

Diameter needs to be max. 19mm. Otherwise it won't fit into the fork.

Alisa sent me three bearings. I used the two 51.8 × 40 mm bearings with 36°/45° angles. I didn't measure their height, but I assume they were 7 or 8 mm tall. There was also another bearing, but with different angles (45°/45°). I installed it without the lower crown race on the fork, and it ended up perfectly preloaded with no play at all.

I ordered a LTK266 some days ago and wonder a bit about the headset as well. I planned to use a FSA N55 together with the very popular Kocevlo Handlebar (https://a.aliexpress.com/_EzNRJ8w). I am supposed to use the "Compression Ring" (the part that goes right on top of the upper bearing) that comes with the handlebar in order to fit the Kocevlo spacers right? I wonder if that will fit, since I expect the Kocevlo spacer to have a camber of 45° since that's the most common camber angle of headset bearings. The FSA N55 however has a camber of 36°. Does anybody knows if I misunderstand something and how I could resolve this problem?

Hi all, been lurking a while now and thought I should share my build. Just had my frame delivered in a large and black gloss. Took only a week after it was dispatched, so very quick. Quality is amazing and finish is superb. This is the third direct from China frame I have built and it’s easily the best so far.

I am waiting on a few bits and bobs to turn up to get it built properly but here are a couple of pics from my build so far and if you have any questions would love to help.
