I have a bunch of C rings, I should have the part to adjust. I am using syncros Fraser bar and associated headset with acros bearing cups, bearings and c ring for the moment

I had the same thing on FM138. I put a two millimeter headset spacer under the spacer bottom piece to lift it higher. Cables had still enough room to move. I hope the FM358 is no different.

I completed the build of my FM358. There is still snow on the ground, so I have yet to take it out for a good ride. Will be doing that in the next few weeks. No issues with the build. Frame is great quality. I purchased from frame from Helen at hongfu bikes.

Is that the Fox DPS shock? I was curious is there is enough clearance around top tube for that one vs. a sidluxe that is a bit thinner.

I’m considering ordering the FM 358.  What is the consensus on this? Is it reliable? Are there any parts that must be swapped out for longevity?

My Medium frame is in transit… will update more on build progress. Order took about 5 weeks to ship.

Hardest part was sourcing the 16.8mm shock hardware bushing. Ended getting one custom made from offset bushings. They also make standard bushings with no offset…

Simply purchase two of these packages and use the widest bushings for the front.
RockShox Rear Shock Mounting Hardware 3-Piece 1/2" for Imperial &
Metric Shocks - 8mm - 8 x 30,0 mm. (2pcs)
The are delivered with assummetric size bushings.

For the rear side, you can use:
RockShox Rear Shock Mounting Hardware 3-Piece 1/2" for Imperial &
Metric Shocks - 8mm - 8 x 16.0 mm (1pc)

I use it with:
ROCKSHOX SIDLUXE ULTIMATE 3P SOLO AIR REMOTE SHOCK 210x50.

Took the bike on a 45km ride with 1000m elevation mix of road, gravel, blue and black trails. Handled it all amazingly. Zero complaints so far. Frame feels stiff and confidence inspiring for a short travel bike. Geo is really good and I was very comfortable for 3+ hours of riding.

Hello. Asking for a friend who has just received this frame. The link axle that bolts into the top tube does not turn. It has a thicker, non-round part in the middle which fits into a slot inside the link. How is that supposed to work?

thanks for the video, looks like an awesome build. i’m thinking about ordering either this frame or the fm138. i’ve been emailing with one of the sales people at hongfu, they requested a bank transfer as payment, which i’ve never encountered before ordering chinese frames or wheels. paypal has always been the preferred payment method. did you pay via bank transfer?

also curious how long was your wait time between making payment and when your frame shipped out. they told me the frame in my requested size is in stock, but would take about 3 weeks to ship out. (no custom paint job, just stock black)

i would really appreciate hearing your feedback of the order process!
