If this one only was slightly different... The 395mm fork version should have one size bigger headtube and seattube... With that i mean, if the small had 380mm seattube and 148mm headtube but otherwise keep the other measurements, then this frame would be perfect. I actually like the steep seattube myself 👍😀

What's with that 85,5mm BB drop for FM316?
Most of the frames I checked have 75mm BB drop, some of them 80mm. Isn't 85,5 too much?

That's the general trend towards MTB domain, will increase top speed and off-road control too. That's why by default they recommend shorter cranks

NBD!  Haven't ridden it yet (unless you count up and down the street)...I still need to add brake fluid.

Build process was straight forward. The only difficultly I had was getting the hose underneath the internal storage compartment. There's apparently a narrow channel. I exited the hose out from the BB shell, then looped back in for better control and was able to get it through up the down tube.

I can earnestly say the reach concerns are unfounded.  I'm actually -3 cm less from saddle tip to stem clamp compared to my previous bike. Granted, I sized down from 130mm to 110mm stem.

I plan to take it out on a fast tarmac group ride tomorrow.  Will report back.

This bike build looks stunning.
In the process of building up XMCS's Grevil Clone for my gravel race bike next year, but this bike and the colour just looks really good! Very impressive (slightly envious).

Thought this might help others with their builds.  Does anyone have experience w/ this type of headset cap?

The provided cap has 4 holes w/ 4 open caps pre-installed and 2 closed caps provided separately

• You'll only want 2 open caps if running electronic shifting (to prevent dirt/water from entering)
• You'll want to decide which holes are closed BEFORE installing headset/hoses/etc.
• In my case, the rear hose is routed through the left hole (to the right brake lever) while the front through the right
• The disparity in angle/tension caused the cap to settle in a skewed position
• I think this type of cap fares better with more spacers but my stem is pretty slammed
• Not an issue per se, more of an aesthetic thing

Perhaps the cap would align better using different holes, routing the front hose around the steerer tube, or both?

You may want to experiment before securing hoses.

Thanks! I also ordered 2 (S for me, XL for a friend) and will likely pull the trigger on an L for another friend. Leaving shortly on a maiden 3hr ride with a local fast group and can't wait!

My Small w/ SRAM Force XPLR E1, Yoeleo C45 gravel wheels, and 50mm tires w/ liners has a total bike weight of 19lbs/8.62kg (incl. pedals)

The bare wheels weigh 1390g (645g F/745g R) or 3.06lbs

Today was my 3rd ride on the FM316, 1st on gravel at a race in West Texas. The bike was amazing. As reported in my 1st ride on tarmac, it feels very much like a road bike while maintaining compliance and stability.  I felt in full control on loose turns amidst a pack, managed washboards without much discomfort, and descended w/ ease. It accelerates much better than what I was previously used to. In short, it performed flawlessly. (I, on the other hand, did not)

Hi! I agree with the opinion that the bike looks great.
I have two questions. Please tell me what is your height, frame size (If I'm not mistaken, it's a S) and stem length.
And I'm also interested in the screw hole (for fixing the trunk) in the crown of the fork
