Is there a direct mount Shimano RD for this QP ER or UR or AR frames or

You can also get one from Nova Ride (alu), for a decent price.

Any udh direct mount hanger should fit. I've used these 2 on my ER One:

Question for all ER:One owners

How smooth is the carbon fiber on the fork, in the place where the hub contacts the fork and the thru axle theads in?

This is my fork. I have not assembled the frameset yet, but the thru axle basically does not go in because the first two threads are made of carbon, as soon as the axle engage with the first one, it binds (undersized thread probably) and it starts delaminating the carbon.

It seems to me that they might have missed a step during manufacturing.

That's bad. You must assume that you will cycle the thru axle hundreds of times over the life of the bike. If it binds and delaminates now, it may get worse over time (no reason to assume otherwise). For a cheap frame i would suggest clipping whatever tiny bit sticks out, maybe put some nail polish to stabilize things, but you paid top dollar for this equipment, you should not have to deal with that. Also, a fork is super cheap for a factory, and yours looks black. Should be super easy for them to replace it. The forces in that area are immense. Getting rotors to not rub requires extreme precision. Imagine if that thing develops play over time, it's just not something i'd want to deal with, not at this price point.

Does anyone have experience with the Magene spider power meter and the QED chainring kit? I’m not sure whether to order the QED kit or go with the Magene power meter and the stock Ultegra chainrings.

Can anyone who's ridden both Quick Pro ER:One and XMCS VRT compare the bikes please?
I'm having a really hard time deciding...

I think the only one (or one of the few) who will be able to answer you is @patliean1 ....  ;D

Le mieux est l'ennemi du bien. They factually are very similar, and will ride very similarly. Losing sleep over which one to pick is time taken away from actually riding the bike, i think it's sterile.
Maybe ask someone you care about to pick the one that looks better, for example. Or choose the VRT and pimp the paint job as a differentiating factor? There are very few (and i actually wonder how many) VRT in the wild, whereas Quick Pro is well established in comparison. This has value. But one may prefer the "if you know you know" frame.
The VRT is expensive (one may argue overpriced), but it's still hundreds less than the quickpro. that's something.
And there's availability. Did you speak w Peter? If the quickpro can be at your door in 5 days, but Peter needs 8 weeks to ship your frame, that's something too.

We should use better language when comparing bikes. There is no objectively better or best frameset on the market. Only the best frame to suit your personal riding needs. But even that is still very much subjective. Frames don't live in a vacuum.

Make a full list of the pros and cons of all the frames you are shopping for. And figure out what's important to you most. And which cons you can live with.

Wow, it looks amazing. Do you notice any difference in shifting performance compared to the original chainrings?
