it definitely pairs with the Magene app. Haven't seen any firmware update so not sure if that is how we will receive it

sorry didnt see it, thought it was an easton interface? are all SENICX PR3 cranksets using the same proprietary interface? seems inefficient

No, it's a custom PR3 crankset that uses the proprietary interface. It's basically Easton with a notch missing (or at least that's my understanding). Standard PR3 cranks use the old SRAM 3-bolt standard.

Considering it's a missing notch, wouldn't it be compatbile with the Easton interface?

Please, I'm begging everyone, take a minute and use your eyes before posting bullshit, you could cost someone good money if nobody happens to correct you.

What is similar is that the spacing on both is for 16 pairs of valleys and peaks, so you could painstakingly file every notch on the geoid and you might end up with a loose fit.

Thanks for the correction - I wasn't intending to mean that it was compatible with Easton (or that it could be), more that it was a similar size, spacing and design but definitely not cross-compatible.

Does anyone know if you can replace the left crank arm with a Shimano arm (105 or Ultegra) to save weight?
The Q-factor is slightly different —146 mm Shimano vs. 149 mm Geoid—but this could be compensated for with a pedal spacer.

The only question is whether the interface for the crank arm is identical.

I encountered a bug after installation. I performed a calibration using my Garmin watch, but although I purchased the 165 mm version, Garmin displays the sensor length as 172.5 mm in its details. After my first ride, the recorded data appears to be doubled. I’ve contacted the Geoid Support Centre and will see how they respond.
