It is funny because most of people are "against" fake frames but on this topic, people tends to criticize the user member and defend Yohobikes 😅.

I think that when you deal with some "non legit" seller you should at least have max level of suspicion and ask for any detail, not to trust the seller

Here is the frame that was approved. This isn't the frame that was shipped.

That actually looks like a UD raw glossy frame. I also have a UD glossy black frame and it looks totally different from a UD glossy raw finish.

First rule of buying a frame online is ask a lot of questions. Also take into account there are language differences that might not translate properly. It's important to word each question as concisely and simple as possible.

While I normally wouldn't buy from Yoho Bikes, I think in this case they actually delivered as promised.

I thought the purpose of this forum was so to give users looking to purchase Chinese bikes real world info to work with.

I don't want other users to make the same mistake I did. They can either take or leave my comments.

The color of the frame ordered might not be the color delivered, but it's impossible to confirm.

In any case, the Ostro VAM painted black doesn't exist.

The finish received is glossy UD, and the good news is that there are no problems with the carbon fiber (what you see is normal!).

It seems logical to me that Yoho would tell you to get lost.

As suspected. It’s a Gloss UD frame - this is what Factor call Black.

I still believe the seller did nothing wrong ( aside from selling a fake frame ) the buyer got what they ordered and got buyers remorse.

If it wasn't for the obvious fact that I rely heavily on cyclists to support my channel I would make a long-winded video on my distain for cyclists in general.

To be fair, the 99% of my audience are cool peoples. But there is just something specifically about cycling that attracts a certain kind of personality. I suspect it's fragility. Way different than basketball and football of which I grew up playing.

If you take the picture of the frame he ordered (from his website) and adjust the contrast, you’ll see it is a UD / clear coat finish.
He received exactly what he ordered.

I thibk it’s true about a lot of things actually. Even basketball/football, look at the fans, so much into their “feelings”! Getting but hurt by actual facts, clearly stated and hard to argue against is the new sport of choice for most people…

These guys get you to pay using Wise, then cut the communication when you raise any issues. Lots of imperfections in the paint and it just feels cheap, low quality.

Sure, you can argue, what could I expect from a fake frame. But I did expect better than I received.

For clarity - I did NOT order naked carbon. I ordered a painted gloss black frame.

The photo I was sent, supposedly before shipping, was of the painted gloss black frame. What was delivered was not the frame I ordered.

My entire purpose of posting here was to caution others considering Yoho. If you have had a much better experience with them, that's awesome, you should post that!

At the very least, Yoho should have responded with a solution to get me the frame I ordered and approved.

You should know that buying replicas is a bit risky. It's funny that you expect original quality at 700usd price point-lower your standards or buy original, it's as simple as that. I ordered the same frame and it's quality is far above my expectations after 1k km ridden. Carbon inside is very smooth, which is the most important thing. Decals are not 100% perfect but for the price it's more than good. I agree the shipping times and seller communication were sketchy after I made payment and this can be frustrating, but you should get your package in 60 days. One advise-change your carbon "expert" since he has no knowledge about it. I paid via Aliexpress, which also covers the refund if the package doesn't arrive in time. I need seatpost with the correct angle on factor logo on both sides if anybody has it
