As it was my video that was "quoted" (no link or mention of anything, good i had the watermark in there..) in the podcast, and I also ride a frame with LIGHTCARBON letters, I might have a opinion, too

I think the name can work, but maybe not in native English settings? had a discussion with a British person about this name, and they thought the name sounds bland, too simple (Same about "Carbonspeed"). I guess, in other non-English contexts, such as Germany, that works good?! Here is "Light" is a prefix everywhere, Ultra Light, Light Yoghurt, Coke Light, Light sounds great for my ears. Also, Gavin said, Germany is the biggest market, so I guess there is some reasoning here.
As everybody above already said, you can choose every decals you like. My impression was, they also don't particular care, if they become a big consumer brand, the OEM production is still a main concern (IMO!).
They have so many orders for their brilliant LCR018-D frame that they haven’t even put it up on their website for sale yet….they need no help whatsoever.
