The problem I see it that they do not put any effort into sure the whole package (brand name, logo, paint design) looks good. I mean they do not even have name for the model :D It just removed value from the product.

The model name actually already exists: LCR-020... there’s no real need to come up with fanciful names; in fact, I think an alphanumeric code is better than some of the ridiculous names you see around (even among some small Western brands).

After all, just look at top Western brands like Colnago or Cervélo... V5rs, Y1rs, R5, S5, etc.

However, I do agree with you regarding the need for greater attention to logo design and the quality of the paintwork.  ;)

your argument applies to all the chinese frames here then. almost all the higher end chinese quality frames cost in the 1000$ +/- range. the cheap stuff is lottery grade. and the resell value is 0 for all of them.
so why bother for chinese frames at all? i dont get this enraged discussion every 3 weeks.

Because at 800$ the value proposition is not the same than at 1100. Also charging me 300$ for paint and no sticker, when I have a pretty good idea of your paint labor cost, it’s a bit rich.

I agree but at least they should have some product lines, like V5RS and Y1RS, so people know which line in for what purpose. Personally like what XMCS did with the VRT and GRT is good enough for me. But if you do not even have a product line, then it seems like you are not confident in you product, which makes it even worse to "force" customers to their paintjob.

True, a product line or classification system for their frames would help potential buyers navigate their choices while simultaneously projecting a better—or rather, more structured—company image.

What I don't quite understand, though, is why they haven't yet advertised the new LCR020-D and LCG072-D frames on their website.

As for custom paint jobs, that is certainly a value-add (and it makes sense for them to charge for the service); however, I would like to see them offer some standard color schemes (like Quick Pro does, for instance)—something which, from what I gather, they are doing or plan to do (I believe this came up earlier in the discussion).

That said, I think the area they should focus on most right now—and one that would boost the brand's value and appeal—is establishing and promoting a unique logo and font (perhaps a bit more refined and eye-catching than what they currently use), while potentially allowing for some customization regarding decal size and/or placement (Quick Pro, for example, offers the standard "Quick Pro" decal but also options for just "Quick," or "Quick Pro" with the word "Pro" in a smaller size, all while sticking to the same "official" font).
