chinese carbon saddles

I already have an older Ryet Aircode and Ryet X6P, both are carbon with 3d printed cushioning.

But, I'm building a new bike so I just rolled the dice on the carbon base version of this one:

I like the 3d printed mesh on my Ryet saddles, but I wanted to try this shape and the price difference was more than I was interested in for a similar one with 3d printed mesh. I already am very comfortable on my X6P. I figure if I don't like the shape of the new one, the 3d printed mesh wouldn't help anything. If I do like the shape, but the comfort is diminished by the non-3d top, then I can just use it on whatever bike I'm not putting century rides on because - again - I'm pretty well covered by my X6P.

Great.  I will give it a try.  I currently use the Aircode Carbon Base and it is okay. Jsut a little hard after a few hours.  The plastic base should help that.  Again. Thanks.

Has anybody checked their Ryet saddle to see if the saddle rails are straight? I received my RT03 saddle the other day, and noticed straight away that they seemed a bit off. I used a spirit level to check and I was correct, so have returned for a refund. A shame as it looks like an amazing saddle for the price

Has anyone tried the RYET specialized power arc clone rip-offs? I'm quite fond of the power arc. This seems to have a wider nose

Yes, same with K29S model. Returned the first one, ordered a second one in faith it would be better, but it's the same. A pity, because I really wanted it. They are way off, surprised people don't notice.

i just order a odinzeus k1 saddle and it came damage . some delaminated portion or trap air near the cutout that didnt allow the full compaction of the carbon fiber. I send the photo to the guy at odinzeus  and he said. oh maybe our packer didnt check when send out.. he offer a 10 dollar refund. i decline and he said then u can apply for a return n refund. .. i did and man that when my horror start. aliexp. offer me a 16 dollar refund n said it only scratches as per the seller statement.. n said the seller didnt accept it. i went back n ask. the seller just said. u just apply for refund n keep applying.. .. and just brush it off.. so now i am stuck with a saddle that is damage and when u put ur finger on that portion it just depress inwards. it def delaminite and unsafe to  use. And am still waiting for aliexpress dispute team to provide the refund.

I recently bought this saddle. Wanted to try something a bit narrower and not 3D printed. Paid 33 USD for it. Pretty light, 104 g (+/- 10 g) promised, real weight 108.4 g. Haven’t yet tested it, will report back soon.

If you're a fan of or have been wanting to try a Specialized Power Saddle with Mimic but don't want to spend $150+...   

I had the plastic base/metal rail version of the WildSide saddle for about a year before breaking it during a bad day at the mtb bike park and actually preferred it to my actual specialized saddle before that.

They now make a carbon base/rail version for about $40. If you want something a little lighter and more stiff.

You can't really tell anything from that photo. Did you try to make a video showing the hollow(?) portion flexing or anything?

Weirdly enough, just returning stuff is often way easier than getting a fault acknowledged.
