Took a chance on these from AE to keep as a spare wheelset. Came in two weeks. The box as always took a beating along the way but the wheels are good. These came in with rim tape, spare carbon spokes and TPU tubes. Impressed with the weight and i have never seen a hub packed with grease like that from China manufacturing.
Not a chance to ride these outside but I'll be sure to update thespian once update once we stop getting -20C temps.

I already have them installed on my bike. I removed the rim strip and installed tubeless tape. The weights shown in the photos are with tubeless tape. So far I'm very happy with them; from the little I've been able to test, they are very stiff wheels, with incredible lateral stiffness. I love how they respond during accelerations.

Can't say I have any issues about the quality, they do seem a little grabby with crosswinds but its also my first time using tyres this wide too so that may be the problem.
Would buy again and some very good deals using UK ebay

I just ordered some. I'll let you know when they arrive and I've tried them out; I'll use them in competition and test them out. I weigh 71 kg and can put out 1600-1700 watts in a sprint, so I'll do a full review.
I already used CSC wheels with carbon spokes and a very similar weight, and the flat spokes on the rear wheel twisted, becoming misaligned with the wheel, which negatively affected aerodynamics. I hope these wheels are a bit stiffer. :) :)

The road layouts are in a grid so most of the time its coming at some type of crosswind angle. -- I run as shallow of a wheel I can find because the aero benefits of a deep wheel don't overcome how annoying the buffeting from cross winds are for me. Reviewers I tend to follow online regularly mention 3 things in regards to carbon spoked wheels.
1. Weight savings
2. Stiffer/harsher ride all things being equal

Same here for me. Midwest USA. Grid layout for most country roads is a great flat on workout. With the wind you can fly like Chuck Yeager!. Then you make the turn 90 degrees and your in wind tunnel testing F35 Raptors.

no they don't wobble. As I said i cannot see any flaws.
Bought some after a youtube review. They answered very fast and a day later sent me a video through aliexpress message center of them packing the wheelset + extras and closing it.
They are now on their way to me. After they arrive i can give a short feedback. To me they are really interesting, but as a barely sub 100kg rider with a 8kg bike the 120kg system limit of the wheelset is.. very intersting :D
If they survive me, they should survive most of you :)

The decals are not under a clear coat nor are they the "water application" kind. They will come off with a heat gun and some googone following....... BUT they actually look very good on the bike!!! I see no reason removing them.
Im going to have a look. Generally i am a fan of white decals (preferably 3 on one side). But with my thiccc Elves Falath Evo frame, i only see black wheel sets on pictures and kinda can see that white decals might be a bit too much. So its good to know :)

Bought a pair during ali aniversary for really cheap should arrive next week dont have a bike ready but hopefully in the next month or two will get to try them out.
My experience on these after few rides now.
- hubs are silent for about 100km and then they start to purr
- EXTREMELY stiff wheelset, most likely due to carbon spokes
- about average in cross wind
Wheels arrived they look great to the eye i dont have a truing stand but they look straight and spoke tension seems good to the touch. Will give an update once i have built the bike and ridden on them.

Not familiar with that one, but you can always use the DT Swiss ratchet grease.
I didn't know Kore had a sub-brand, interesting. I have several Tagoola wheels and just got this one. I am a bit dubious with those wheels.
For the overall price, it seems to be a very good bargain (weight, carbon spokes etc..). However, when I squeeze the wheels, it's very soft in comparison with the Tagoola. With those latters (the four pairs from the cheapest to the most expensive model I got), I have hard time to squeeze them but with the Kore wheels, it's easy to squeeze them and see distortion.

So here they are. As mentioned, the box has had a bit rougher time, but nothing major. The wheels seem okay. You can see some imperfections in the carbon, but overall they look great. I love the naked finish. Decals seem to be possible to remove with some harsh chemical, but I actually like they way they look (more than on the picture). Haven't had the chance to mount tyres on, I am waiting for a delivery of new P-Zero Race RS tires. The weight is 1249.7g with the rimtape installed. You also get a tubeless tape if you plan to run tubeless. Their TPU tubes look decent, they are 85mm, so I will keep these as spares. I tend to use RideNow with metal valves in 65mm anyway. They spin well, but there is zero grease on the bearings and hubcaps. The 60T ratchet is loud af, and it is greased somewhat lightly. Probably due to a regrease soon. The wheels do have a drainhole, that was not clear from the pics on AliExpress.
Will get back with my initial impressions.

So I also received my set earlier this week and weighted them in at 1258 grams on my scale with the tape.
I also went ahead and checked all my carbon wheelsets including the KORE and they all have slight deflection if I compress them using my hand as a vise.
This is a non issue to me and is to be expected on most Carbon rims.

You would need to use chemicals to do so and it voids the warranty.
Have them. Put them on my bike and am happy about them. I am in no way a pro, but they are lighter than my Elite ENT 2.0, look fire and feel fast to ride.

Quick update after the first 110k ride
Wheels are great, very true and they look much better irl than they do on the pics. I was a little worried about the white decals, but I actually like the looks quite a lot. Wheels run pretty smooth, not sure if I just think they ride better than my Lightcarbon ones, but they do feel like it. The 60T ratchet is obnoxiously loud, will have to grease the hub up to silence it at least a bit. Putting on the Pirellis was not too hard of a job, and the tires poped on the rim quite fast. Even though both my thumbs did suffer a little. 28mm tire measures around 31mm on the rim.
I will keep testing these further. But would I recommend them right now? Absolutely. An absolute steal for 445 USD delivered. ;D
Hopefully they will also last.
Second the look. I really like the decals even tho i was quite sceptical of them.
Also the carbon look isnt 100% black but has a little bit of life in them. They look fantastic
Same impression here, the product photos really don't do them justice, the decals looked a bit too loud to me at first, but once mounted they actually work well, eThe raw carbon finish also has a bit of texture/depth in real life instead of that flat black look you often get in the listings.

White decals. I just got a fingernail into an edge and the whole thing peeled up. Some spots left adhesive but I just used the peeled-off decal and dabbed those spots to pull up everything else.
Ended with two fresh wheels, no need for any solvents, cleaning chemicals, soap, or anything else.
Update after ~300km:
Nothing to say other than i am still a fan. Sometimes i hear some "ding"s but i think thats just the occasional gravel hitting the rim.
Im new to thick carbon wheels so i cannot say anything other than that i "think" i heard the same sounds with my 1000km on my Elite Ent 2.0
The Kore feel better made and look better tho. So thats my 2 cents.

I recently received Cyclone wheelset and did about 300km so far.
The quality looks exceptional. Super nice hubs, bearings are buttery smooth, freehub body has bite guard and rubber seal. There was no grease on the bearings so you need to remember to but some yourself before installing the wheelset. Rims have really nice finish: raw carbon with matte clear coat that looks really nice in the sun. Decals look like they are under the clear coat. I wish the rims were a bit wider externally. You get 4 spare spokes and 2 tpu tubes in the box. No tubeless valves. All of the spare spokes are the same length. I asked the seller to install tubeless tape instead of a regular rim tape but they did a horrible job so I'll have to re-tape it anyway. Weight with a rim tape 1257g.
My friend also ordered a steel spoke 60mm version of the kore wheelset. Will report once he receives it.

I mentioned this before, these seem to be proper water applied. No removing these without rim damage. But they really do look good.

Imho those decals look better irl than they do on the photos. Also they create a nice effect when spinning. You can opt for the black ones if you don't like loud white ones.

I haven't seen great feedback of CSC customers, based on customer service I'd go with the Kores, but the CSCs are even cheaper and lighter, which is crazy.

Wow. I won't be ashamed to admit that at this price, I am tempted over a set of 55-60mm from the likes of XMCS/Serenade/Zen. Very much put off CSC by the poor reviews.
I am more and more tempted to try carbon spoked wheels...wonder if I can convince myself that these are "safe" (maybe better to say "good") enough!

My friend have received a 60mm version and they are looking good. 1360g with tape is insane for 60mm wheels for 350$. Hubs look almost identical to the carbon spoke version just a different flange and they are matte rather than gloss found on the cyclone. Rims are a bit too narrow for my liking 21int 28ext. 50mm version seem to have exactly the same rim as the cyclone
Agree, 24/30 is a good width and probably the minimum these days. That's what's on my road bike currently, but I'm thinking of moving them over to my new gravel build and getting a new road set.
At this price it's hard to say no. You wonder how they can do it for so cheap?
My theory is maybe the the bigger players are selling off cheap rims in bulk to finance development of more trendy, wider wheels...? Hard to believe, given the volume Kore have sold, these are simply QC rejects or "fallen off the back of a truck"

I haven't seen great feedback of CSC customers, based on customer service I'd go with the Kores, but the CSCs are even cheaper and lighter, which is crazy.
I'm uncertain between CSC and Kore, the price on my door is pretty similar but I don't like the 50mm ok Kore and the white stickers so i'm pretty oriented on CSC 45mm

Lol they weight like sub 1200g, they are light as hell but I get it, I would also get the white ones hahaha (you can always remove the stickers if necessary) :)
I also wasn't convinced by the white decals originally but they do look kind of cool especially when spinning.

Fyi proprietary hubs, says the seller on Ali (for whatever its worth). Can't upgrade the spokes on the Top gun wheelset either, unfortunately.
I'm still tempted by the unbelievable price, but I just can't convince myself to buy them, knowing I'll probably just end up finding problems. There are some reports of excess flex on the rear I found on social media.

Is it 30mm external all the way, or does it have some curve to it and increase a bit along the sidewall of the rim?
Need to update this. After about 2.5K km the front wheel needs to be trued. I am not a heavy rider at 75kg but the potholes did their thing. I wondered why I was getting a front wheel wobble during fast descent last week. Now I know.

I think the steel spoke wheels will have a sticker with Top Gun on there, the carbon spoked ones will have Cyclone. So yes, it's avoidable.

I've also had the Cyclones 36T HG white since yesterday, which weighed 1217 grams (taped) on my scale. They're already taped. The grease was really low, so I added my own, which also reduced the noise.
The box contains the 11-speed adapter ring and nothing else. There are NO spare spokes or inner tubes.

Mine (arrived monday), ordered through Aliexpress did contain spare spokes and TPU tubes
Mine arrived with white logo and painted (1249g). A combination i would never have picket. Still in discussion with seller.
I am still dealing with the KORE store via Ali on my issue. The latest is they want me to provide proof (video) of the front wheel shaking when I am at speed, which makes me think I am not going to get anywhere here. I was about to ask if they are going to cover the medical bill when I crush but decided to skip that comment.

EU customer here. They made me choose the Aliexpress standard shipping, which costs about €66 currently. They delivered a symbolic package via the standard Ali shipping which contained 1 tpu tube. They said I could reject it, because there was a customs fee of €11, which I didn't end up doing, because I don't like landfill. The wheelset came with DPD, no taxes or questions asked there. They are very responsive to questions, had great communication with them. Sometimes so nice that it actually looked like they were going to scam me. Just an update here. The seller has refunded me $100 to cover some cost of the repair of the wheel. I was under the impression they would cover the total cost. But this is the cost of getting stuff from across the world and hoping nothing bad happens. I wonder whats going to happen if there are other issues.

I bought the black cyclone wheelset.
Came very well packed, with 2 30gr tpu and spare spokes.
Weight: 1258 with the tubeless tape.
I mounted a gp5000 32mm with the tpu tubes that came with the wheels.
Today I did a 100km first ride. They feel much more responsive than my Velobuild wavy wheels (I saved almost 500grs with the Kore).
But it was a group easy ride so I didn´t sprint or anything simmilar.
I´m very satisfied. I don´t think you can get anything better at this price point.

Is a shipping cost very similar to other chinese carbon wheels brand; shipping + custom fee included (DPD, seller shipping method).
On aliexpress I paid around 86 euro with Elitewheels and 132 euro with Otvto for shipping+custom.

In my case I alrready have the wheels, two sets in fact, 50mm e 60mm, on different bikes. On these "Top-Gun" models, the hubs are the same. Do you know if the hub in that gravel model is the same too?

Got a peculiar issue with my freehub, thought you might have an insight on this.
So the thing is, a weird subtle grinding-like sound is occasionally coming out of the freehub. First I thought it's bearings, but I replaced them, and the unwanted sound is still there. I have no idea what this might be, as it is not a constant thing, but it just ocassionally comes up. I think it is more prevalent when pedalling a bit lighter, it really appears at random as it seems. It's driving me crazy. One day it just startet and does not want to fuck off.
Could it be the ratchet being too sticky? I've added quite a lot of greese inside the hub. Nothing is loose, bearings are still smooth at the back, I am a bit desperate at this point. I am 100% sure it's the freehub, but just cannot locate the source.
Any ideas are welcomed! Thanks!
Im no expert on wheels, but I would completely disassemble to the hub, clean it all out and slowly add a bit of grease to the ratchets. I think that maybe you went a bit "over board" there with the grease

Also thought I went a bit too crazy with the grease, so I did clean the whole hub, but the problem is still there. I tried to record the sound on my phone while riding yesterday, have a look. Pls excuse my hairy legs haha. The weird grind sound starts at around 0:05.

They also rested on their 2000 sales and said they test EVERY wheel for safety (what ever that means?) Told me to buy a new rim and build it back up myself. Crap customer service and questionable rims
To be honest, it does look like you hit a pothole, or went over train tracks too hard. I dont think any rim would survive this. At this point be happy you didnt have $2000 rims on your bike. Ask them to sell you just one complete wheel as a crush replacement, at a discount.

To be honest, i wish that was the case, then i wouldn't need to be on here bitching about how crap the product is. Last carbon wheelset was around 1.5k and still haven't died after 8yrs. Is the market accepting of riding wheels that will catastrophically fail if hit by a crack in the road or a pebble? inflated with a digi pump each ride, tubed and with wider tyres than the external rim width. I guess that is why the price is low as they don't batch test regularly. anyone know who the rim manufacturer is?
UPDATE: Kore replied saying the factory only tests for 'Radial static loading' and Lateral Rigidity' sounds like they skip on the impact resistance test.

Did you check the free hub bearings or the wheel bearings? Both?
I have a set of Cyclones on the way. The new bike hasn't been ridden yet. I'm thinking of selling the stock wheels, chainrings, and even chain. I don't want to mar anything by riding it.

I didn't post about my personal experience with my sets.
But I cracked both wheels off my first cyclone wheelset on two huge potholes in the same ride at different times.
I thought nothing of it has I didn't flat and wheels stayed true.
It was not perfect dealing with CS but I'd still give it a 4.5/5 as I also thought that I had only broken 1 wheel so reached out on two different occassion to them for the cracks.
They only charged me delivery fee's for my replacement and have since done over 4000 km on the second set with no issue.

Bravo!!!! Good to see a rep properly engaging and backing their product.
Just wanted to share a disappointing experience with KORE's Zoom Store on AliExpress.
I bought a Titan 50 gravel wheelset through the AliExpress Trial section at the price offered to me there and paid for the order normally.
Shortly afterwards, Zoom Store asked me to cancel because the wheelset was supposedly out of stock. A little later the same wheelset was available again, so I asked them about it.
They then admitted that the actual problem was the price:
"At this discounted price, I can't even buy two rims."
and later:
"It was my mistake, I'm sorry, but I can't ship the item to you."
I'm not asking KORE for any additional discount. I simply bought the product through an AliExpress promotion at the price AliExpress offered me, and I would expect the order to be honoured.
I have refused to cancel the order from my side and AliExpress has now escalated the case to senior support.
Since @KORECycling has previously confirmed here that Zoom and the other AliExpress/Temu/eBay stores are KORE's own sales channels rather than third-party sellers, I thought this was worth sharing in the KORE thread.
Hopefully KORE can look into what happened here. I was actually quite excited to try the Titan 50, so this has been a pretty disappointing first experience with the brand.
I'll update the thread once I hear back from AliExpress.

I agree, you can't test every wheel for impact without subjecting it to an impact. Then I wouldn't want to buy a wheel that has already been impacted by a 200lb weight dropped on it.
I also agree that the photos show that the damage is due to impact with something. I don't think any manufacturer will warranty a rim due to impact. Some may offer crash discount, but many don't.

I recently bought a wheelset from AliExpress. After removing the rim tape, I noticed that some of the transparent clear coat seems to be coming off the rim. I contacted the seller's support team and they refunded me 10%.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Since it's only on the inside of the rim, I assume it doesn't affect safety, but I'd be interested to hear if this is common.

Well never seen that. I asume (just a guess) that for some reason they didn´t clean thoroughly the inside of the rim before they apply the clear coat so it didn´t cure ok.

Had this on my no-branding cheapest model Ryet wheel.
Nothing structural was damaged when I peeled the tape so I just lived with it.

quick update: In the constant pursuit to get rid of the annoying sound I've purchased a 60T ratchet I found on AliExpress (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010477211071.html). Visually identical, apart from the golden color, I confirmed the compatibility with Zoom Store. Once it arrived I changed the ratchet, went for a 110k ride and all good. Won't come to a conclusion just yet, as I've only ridden once since changing the ratchet, but I have high hopes. Fingers crossed eh.
Edit: Zoom Store now offers a spare ratchet in both steel and titanium (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005013163662677.html). I've chatted with them, and they claim they've updated the production of the ratchet after my feedback. Hard to say if that is correct, since they chat in Chinese, and I rely on the Alibaba translate feature. Anyway, if that is indeed correct, good to know. ;D

Regarding a question I posted a while back on this topic, about the existance or compatibility of a Microspline freehub that could be used on the Kore road wheels hub and never got an answer, now I've found this that could be usefull to others here:

I can confirm that the freehub from my goldix r240sl hub is interchangeable with the kore cyclone freehub. I tested this with both hg and ms freehubs.
I have just ordered a set from the zoom store and they sourced and fitted a Campy N3W free hub it's extra cost but they are available
I just put together my top gun 50 (not ridden yet) and I found a silver washer in a seperate little bag.
I ordered both the HG and the SRAM free hubs.
Can anyone tell me what the washer is for?

I e my original 11-32 Ultegra casette doesnt have a spacer but a recently acquired 11-34 (mallorca climbs where too much for me :D) CS-HG800-11 cassette came with and needed the spacer. I would assume, this kore spacer serves the same purpose, right?

That spacer is for 10 speed casettes and 11 speed MTB casettes.
In fact 11-34 casettes were originally for MTB use, that´s why you need a spacer on them.
For normal 11 speed road casettes you don´t need that spacer.

I got these wheels for a while and for the price I get them, they are pretty good.
Currently I am thinking about building an aero gravel bike (LC-72) and I wonder if it is durable/good idea to use these wheels for Gravel Rides/Events. I will put Specialized Pathfinder 40c on them and based on AE's description it should work out.
What are your thoughts about this ? Thanks :)
I run them on my commute Gravel which I use also to do some real gravel when I've got time for a detour homewards. I run them in the front with a 50mm Schwalbe G-One R and in the back a 45mm RS. No complaint.
Do you mind sharing pictures ? I would like to have an idea of what it will look like. Thank you ! Do you run them tubeless ?
I got the topgun 50mm wheelset today. I used ebay and asked about dpd as stated. 13 days to Denmark with free shipping and no extra vat.
I chose the black logo. But there is the white logo at the valve stem. Is it possible to remove it, im worried there will be a mark after the stickers. Also it's the loudest freehub i have ever heard. Is it just to use more dt swiss special grease?
No grease behind the end caps.
Other than that, i'm happy.
Just after i unpacked them and standing with one wheel in my hands. A Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II turned on the afterburner as he climbed just outside the city. Coincidence? 8)

You can remove the sticker (if its a sticker) and then use something like googone to remove the residue.
Use more grease on the ratchets to make them less noisy.
The only wheelset I have ever bought that was properly lubed / greased was from 9velo. Everything else, remove all the end caps, ratchets and do it all yourself.

Can't help on the fit, but I believe these will have the opposite effect of silencing... There's even a thread on WW about these ratchets, and the gist is that people are fitting them to make it LOUDER, not quieter.

That link is from the official Kore wheels seller at AliExpress. From those freehub pictures (and some references here and there), it seems that the Kore road hubs are Goldix made, and so the freehubs should be the same as these from other sellers:
