Just ordered mine, it will be interesting to see how long it takes. 54CM, custom paint, comes with storage, extra hanger, BB, 2-bottle cages. $1073 US to Vancouver Canada.

990g is the weight of the frame w/o the metal storage cover. frame seems very sturdy on the frontal area, more than the BB area (but i'm by no means a carbon expert) fork seems also robust. love the handlebars design, construction seems ok. saddle looks comfy, very well finished. can't wait to take it for a ride. I might've totally misinterpreted what i was told but from what I understood was if they have the "Light Carbon" laser logo in stock, there is no extra cost however if you're looking for a customized laser logo then its a $300-400 USD cost for the sheet. @bsharp77 was there an extra cost for you? For the decals, I recommend running a price simulation with Speed Decals here in Italy. I’ve already had stickers made with them and the quality is excellent. Yes the whole decal end of things is a little strange. I wasn’t sure about the laser silver at first and asked if they would have a gold rainbow metallic available. I was told they had a special gold chameleon but it cost $350 per sheet. I quickly said no to that and went with the laser silver which was $35. Carol said it had been out of stock for a long time and only just available again. I don’t really understand why they are so dear - nothing overly special I can see with them. As mentioned already, Speedydecal do some amazing finishes so if you have custom requirements, I can fully recommend as I’ve used them before for both frame and wheel decals. Saying all that I’m more than happy with how the laser silver turned out and even the decal design itself seems to have been thickened in comparison to older framesets and it really does match the frames aesthetic really well. What was the result? What does the finish look like in real life? Is it a straight, neat edge? All is perfect - just an optical illusion with the carbon layup. I’ll try and get a photo posted later this evening, sorry haven’t had a chance as yet. October 15, 2025, 12:23:35 PM |
