Hard tail with front sus fork starts to look promising but considering I want maximum comfort for long distance I'm thinking a fully for washboard gravel makes most sense?
This is why I'm asking for advice because maybe I'm mislead in that regard but from what I gather sus is slower but comfier.

Realistically this will be one of many bikes I'll own so lets see how it goes

I have an s-works epic 8 with flight attendant that I’m building up as a drop bar for long distace gravel type races. I have asked Peter to build the wheels on mtb boost hubs. I usually use thunder burt 2.1 or 2.25 tires. I just have to figure what stem lenght to use. Fingers crossed the fit works out nicely!
I’ll defenitely post some pics as soon as I have received all the bits and have it set up. 

Your ti bike looks awesome!

Re: XMCS: 2026 Aero Gravel bike fwiw, I'm pretty excited about this bike simply just due to the tire clearance and geometry. There aren't very many gravel bikes with this tire clearance and a racy geometry that I like. Some others I have considered include Enve Mog, Allied Able, Tideace GV201 and Cervelo Aspero. I have the Aspero and really wished it could fit bigger tires. So while I also wished it was cheaper, this tire clearance + geometry has been a rarer combo to come by imo.

Also added the bike to bikeinsights for comparing the geometry!
