I bought my 707 in 2021, when UDH was just starting to gain acceptance. It wasn't offered as an option at the time. Carbonda's website only shows the UDH version of the frame, so I suspect that is all that is available. You may want to ask them directly though.

Re: New wheels: what to mount FarSports vs 8LIEN Anyway, to the OP. Both are last year's news, but if you have to get either of those, get Farsports, 8LIEN are way overpriced for no reason. You can get better value from smaller OEMs though.

I totally agree with what you say about quality, that paying more does not mean getting something better. In fact, I think that's something that goes without saying if we are in this type of forum and asking these kinds of questions.

I want the best for the lowest possible price, but in a way that is also fair to the seller.

I forgot to mention that I have the possibility of negotiating B2B prices with dealers, so the prices I get after contacting these companies are considerably lower than the MSRP. Therefore, my focus is on product quality, and there I have to trust those who have already tried them, as I can't be buying a set of wheels every day from a different seller :)

At the moment, here are the two options I had in mind:

FARSPORTS 2025 New EVO S Series

After reading your comments I also added the wheelsfar on that list but I am not able to find the 1 to 1 equivalent to farsports.

If your getting cheaper prices to be honest if your going for brand probably Farsports as 8Lien are relatively new.
But I don't think you can go wrong with either

Re: Adapt bikes DP-B02 So, I am able to purchase one frame from Adapt. Communication is seamless and quick. Though I was able to buy one frame because my friend wants to sponsor a racing team with these frames and I will be testing the frame. :) I will not delve into how much we've paid because Allyn might got mad at me but the price is quite on the expensive side in terms of Chiner frames.

Re: Looking for a bit gravel racing frameset I think it depends what you're looking for but personally I'd go for the Mondince since it seems to have the biggest tire clearance of those three. Where I live, gravel biking is basically just underbiking on MTB trails so being able to fit big tires is a must. That rules out the Graro and VB options for me. The Mondince one does have a really low BB which sort of implies that it's really meant for bigger tires and you might actually be risking scraping the BB a bit more if you run smaller tires.

"looks more like a race bike" vs "race bike" can be two different things. If looks is the important part, pretty much any frame with some deep rims and big, knobby tires usually looks pretty cool and race-like. If you really want performance, I'd say investing in good wheels and tires is more important than the frame. Get whatever frame has the features and looks you like the best (do you want: downtube storage, big tire clearance, aero tube profiles, lighter weight, custom paint options, yes/no fork mounts, fully integrated cables, high/low stack, price point, shorter wheelbase, etc.)

it looks just like the graro and has the same tire clearance but also includes downtube storage. Maybe that could be another option for you.

I’d lean towards size M (490), especially if he prefers a more responsive, sporty feel.

These bikes tend to run a bit long, and size L (520) can feel quite stretched unless he has a longer torso or specifically wants a more stable, relaxed position.

If he’s between sizes:
   •   M → more agile, more “in the bike” feeling
   •   L → more stable, but less lively

It’s also easier to make a slightly smaller frame work (e.g. with a longer stem or more spacers) than the other way around.

Also important to consider his saddle height:
If he has a relatively low saddle height, the smaller size usually works better because you stay more centered over the bike.

If he prefers a racier, road-like position → definitely go with M 👍
