I don’t have this exact combination but currently riding 35mm GP5000 WAM 37.2mm on a set of Tagoola 26/34. No problem at all.

Hi

I bought the same cover and agree with you.

I thus thought the Defy seatpost would fit and wanted a seatpost mount for my Garmin varia. Ordered one made for the Defy seatpost and it is way too small unfortunately, suggesting the Defy seatpost would not fit at all. I guess the rubber seatpost cover stretches which explains why it fits well.

Hi,

I found this cover. It fits the seatpost really well. You just have to cut off about half of the small nipple. But it’s better than all the other solutions I’ve found.

Another question: Does anyone know if the Giant D-Fuse seatpost fits? I’d like one with setback.

Thanks and best regards from Germany

Did they indicate when it might be released? Thank you.

Is this the actual frame? It appears to be listed now :

Interested in trying this. Never won anything!

what did you use instead of RD to keep the chain tension?

Had an old mechanical rear derailleur and inserted a shifter cable in reverse as shown in this video

I was in a similar situation as yours but the Zwift bike only (without kickr core) is not available in Canada. I built a dedicated trainer bike using a twitter C6 frame cheap Ali express parts and parts that I already had on a wahoo kickr and found a climbr for cheap on marketplace. I use the Zwift cog with Zwift play and Zwift click for virtual shifting - no shifters or brakes in this bike.

Ordered this Silca Hirboel replica today to maybe solve the issue with my workstand not being optimal clamping on my aero profile seatpost.

Nice find, thanks for sharing!

That seapost cover looks much better, what did you do / how did you get it or modify it?

Probably a Twitter G2 aluminium frame to build a commuter. Will come in not expensive at all and hopefully it’s good.

It’s very nice. I built a dedicated trainer bike with this frame and was surprised by the quality.

me too, my frame is shipped now! cant wait..

Same for me! Let us know if you ever make them.

Thak you for yuor work!!
What are the thru axles like? Is it worth ordering them with the frame, or can you get something better for a similar price?

I swapped them for these:

L117 M12x1.5 TL12
L168 M12x1.0 TL19

Need to order 2mm spacers

They are obviously a bit lighter but I didn’t weight them on a scale. I know nothing about this brand so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Just need to cut the steerer tube and it’ll be fully dialed in.

I’ve only managed one ride so far, but like others have noted, I’m very impressed for the price point. The bike feels very nice to ride, responsive, snappy. I have used the FSA ACR headset and all seems fine.

   •   Handlebar: Xiamen Carbon Speed
   •   Wheels: XCMS 60mm deep / 24IW
   •   Tires: Continental GP5000 30mm tubeless
   •   Groupset: Mix of SRAM Force and Red E1 (Force D2 levers)

I am running a 140 rear 160 front with no issues.

However, I am not running the Hope RX4+ caliper i thought about installing and instead am running the new RX2 for a variety of reasons one of which is very tight clearance to the rear seatstay. This should not be an issue with sram calipers.

Also every retail box of SRAM levers and calipers ive ever had comes with the 160mm adapters.

Running 140/160mm too. Build will soon be finished, just need to dial in the fit on the trainer… will report after.

I have seen these posted here before but don’t know if they’re any good…

Available in L168 M12x1.0 TL19, L117 M12x1.5 TL12…

Might be close enough?
