Hello! What's the matter? Did I post in the wrong section or is there anything about the frames? Any help is appreciatedyou posted in gravel bike section
Hey Alex, is the flex visible just pressing on the BB while standing still? If so, possible you can take video?Honestly I think I may have overreacted. I had a very stiff aluminum bike before so it makes sense this is a little flexier. I just finished a race with it on my trainer and did not rlly notice the stiffness.
I didn't have a chance to properly test ride it yet. I'll report backSounds good
Finished my build. Spcycle G026 size XL light purple. Tagoola XPLR wheels, eGR groupset with magura calipers, leese crankset, e*13 9-44 cassette, toseek cockpit, elita one seatpostHey I see you got a pretty large size. What is your opinion on lateral stiffness? I got a size L and am not sure if it is too flexy..
the build went smoothly apart from a few small issues:
- BB threads were a bit rough and I've spent probably 20 minutes trying to install the BB because it felt like cross-threading
- the chainstay is really narrow and there were some loose fibers on the inside so I had to use the internal routing tool with a magnet to pull the wire through.
One thing regarding the downtube storage. It's really small maybe a few mm wider that the door. You don't actually get an access to the entire downtube but the storage area has carbon walls that feel paper thin. Will see how it's going to hold up
