so based on 8mm clearance for 45.5 as measured, then 53mm as measured should fit with a standard 4mm of clearance?

I don't want to state any facts as I have not tested wider tires than my current 45mm, but depending on how tire fits it might? also depends on how high the knobs are on the tire.

Based on my current setup it seems 50 will work and 53 might? but that would be pretty tight fit. Also i will mention that LCG071D when it was first introduced offered up to 53mm tire support that was later reduced to 50mm once they added T47 and UDH upgrade, and LCG074D is based on 071D but with just micro suspension. So it might work but again it is just based on some anecdotal information and few simple measurements based on my size 55 frame. Smaller sizes might also have slightly lower tolerances but i cannot verify that information without any evidence atm but i think its worth keeping in mind.

Finally received my frame after around 2 months since order time. I ordered exactly on 27th of march and recieved order comfirmation the same day. I ordered size 55 with Cema ceramic bearing BB, SP03 seatpost, and 420/90mm handlebars. After around a month and a half i recieved an information that frame, fork and seatpost are ready but handlebar production would take another month so i swapped to 420/100mm and recieved the frame 1st of june, total price was around 890$ including all fees and delivery to Poland. The build was pretty straightforward and I only had problems with internal cable routing as left side cable hole had very tight tolerances and required a lot of effort, I alos plan to cut my seatpost shorter as the included one is way too long for this frame.

I used aliexpress for majority of my other parts and below is the total list of them with prices that include shipping and taxes:
-Frame: Lightcarbon LCG074D size 55 (890$)
-Seatpost: SP03 model included with frame
-Handlebars: included with frame in size 420/100
-BB: Cema brand ceramic BB purchased from lightcarbon
-Groupset: Ltwoo egr electronic groupset from 80 designer store (300$)
- Wheels: Elitewheels gravel aero+(500$)
- Disc brake rotors: VXM rotors from aliexpress(12$ each)
- Cassette: Goldix 11 speed 11-42T(25$ leftover from my trainer and used with old bike intending to finish it off before swapping to 12 speed)
- Chain: Shimano ultegra 11 speed chain(20$)
- Seat: RYET carbon seat(31$)
- Bar tape: Supacaz violet-blue color(23$)
- Tires: Specs pathfinders TLR 45mm black sidewall(47$ each)
- Cranks: Shimano grx 610 1x 40T crankset(74$)
- Pedals: Shimano M520 spd pedals(24$)
-Misc itesm: Batteries for shifter, batteries for RD, mr.ducky, chainstay guard(30$)

Total cost: around 2000$
Total weight:8,5kg(pedals and bike computer mount included)

Majority of parts were bought on various discounts and with coupons while waiting for the frame, only managed to get around 150km on this bike atm.

Overall the ride feels great, you can feel the micro suspension work especially on rougher terrains but it makes the front fork feel quite stiff in comparison. I had some problems with seatpost and handlebar screws slightly loosening but it only happened for first 2 rides and stopped afterwards. Still planning to change a few things around the bike but frame size 55 feels very good for 182cm height, I would love to see them ship with shorter seatpost but that is something i can always cut off so no real issues there.

For total weight of each component
Frame: 1250g
seatpost: 250g
handelbars: 450g
fork: 550g

I will also post few more bits of information that might help people:
All rightcarbon tourque values are for dry conditions but they do include locktite on majority of their screws from what i could tell.
45mm tire feels just right and 50mm might be very close to pushing the limits so i would recommend going 48mm max if you plan to ride in muddier conditions.
With 40T 1x chainring i seem to have around 13-14ishmm distance from the frame but im not sure how much realistically the frame flexes with micro suspension and how far it can be pushed
Downtube storage area is extremely narrow so not much will fit in there(i had troubles putting more than spare TPU tube and patchkit in the included bag, my multitool was too wide and my pump too long and made the bag too stiff to insert back)

can you post photos of the rear tire fitment? I'm seeing conflicting reports of 50mm width tires clearing the pivot mechanism and I'm wondering if wider internal rims allow the tire profile to be lower and thus improve clearance.

Im currently using 45mm pathfinders on 32mm internal rim width, i tried taking some pics for you to the best of my ability but imo the limiting factor is the clearance on down triangle arms not the pivot mechanism. The wheels im using are elitewheels gravel aero+.

 The attached pictures are:
-clearance from pivot mechanism arm
- clearance from down tube on rear triangle(non drive side)
- Pic for visual clearance

Did anyone manage to use the new eGR yet? im really concerned about battery life on them as they advertise 4500mAh but on the battery they state only 400mAh and considering that the old gen had 1600mAh total in the battery pack im really concerned about total range since the capacity is only 25% of what we had before.

I also messages Ltwoo customer service and they stated that there is currently no schedule for updating the old generations with newer functions that is 13 speed and ability to swap button functions on shifters. But I should await further official announcements from LTWOO about this topic.

I‘m experiencing the same issue you had, thought i‘d splurge on a pair of 1500mah Keepower 14500 for a massive range upgrade but seems like LTwoo doesn‘t like that even though the current is the same… Welp will order a pair of 800mah batteries und hope for the best

I'm currently using vapcell F15 batteries from aliexpress, they are the same voltage and the same 14500 type cells just with higher capacity(1500mAh per battery, 3Ah total). Currently using the old wired eGR with them and its working great. The only issue i had is that after inserting them to the battery holder they did not contact the pad fully as i orderd flat ones isntead of button top ones so i used some small 5mm diameter neodymium magnets to fill the gap. Afterwards they needed to be left in battery holder and left to charge fully before they worked properly, if i tried using it without charging first they refused to power anything.

For my eGR with vapcells F15 im currently sitting at around 1000shifts per around 5% of battery used but i only managed to do around 120ish km with them for now so no long term testing done yet.

This is the exact cells im using:

Not compatible.

Honestly very disappointed in Ltwoo as it seems the shifters did not change at all compared to old version outside of the letter color. I also hoped older version would get button change and 13 speed update as 80 designer stated they would but it seems Ltwoo does not care about their older products.

Hey, did anyone encounter the issue where RD is stuck on 0.0.1 firmware version and does not see any updates?

I tried resetting the RD, resetting and reinstalling the app, unpairing and repairing the RD, reconnecting, using different network but nothing seems to fix the issue. 80 designer store where i purchased also does not seem to have anything that could help me.

My new gen egr is in the US now and then my buddy has to ship it to me, but I have some gen 1 erx shifters laying around that I can test if they can pair. I may be wrong but isnt the brain of the system in the RD so even if you paired a FD to a egr rd, wouldn't it still not work?
Honestly I have no clue, as I said this is what i got from 80 designer store. But suprsingly when trying to update my shifters today they displayed their name as 'eRX version 3 shifter' so it seems the shifters might be exactly the same as eRX with just changed branding and obviously removed buttons from one of them.

I did see couple of comments of people attempting it and some even claimed to be successful on various facebook forums but I have yet to see proof of it. I might attempt it myself once i manage to grab eR9 fully wireless FD and check if it will work.

Now on different topic but did anyone have any issues with updating their eGR RD? I have been trying various things for entire day due to 80 designer store claiming it can support 13 speed but so far no luck and i have been locked to v0.0.1 firmware version.

I messaged 80 designer store with couple of questions and while some of them got their meaning lost in translation i got a reply with some valuable information.

- According to them any eGR RD should have the ability to get 13 speed upgrade in APP but it is not recommended as their have different cage design and might go into wheel spokes.

- New shifters are not compatible with the old eGR generation so if you want to upgrade it is necessary to swap both the shifter and RD.

So overall the possibility to upgrade old gens to 13 speed is nice but very disappointing to see that in case of RD or shifter failure for old gen, we will be forced to swap both of them as there is no backwards compatibility :(

I asked few more questions but their exact meaning got lost in translation and the response i got was not accurate to the question, but based on clues they answered that attaching FD to old gen and using left shifter for it is possible but for new gen getting rid of shifting function on left shifter makes any conversion to 2x not possible.

I would be very interested if anyone could verify new RD compatibility with old version of shifter. Also despite their claims i still did not recieve any updates for my RD and i do not see a possibility for 13 speed on blue version so their comments might not be accurate.

Just curious but asking anyone that has the frame already, did you try measuring what max size 1x chanring you can fit? will using the SRAM wide standard allow for more than advertised 42T? Im planning tu order a chainring soon and wondering if its possible to push a bit further than Lightcarbon claims is max possible.

Also saw a few posts on 071-Pro forum about that frame feeling pretty slow during sprints and descents so if anyone would be able to elaborate and describe their experience with 074-D it would be great.

Thanks.

At this point, I'd just wait for the upcoming full wireless 13 speed eGR groupset to drop. I don't like the idea of having to unplug the battery cable and use a proprietary usb cable to charge it.

Yeah i wish i had waited a bit more but i ordered my set around a week before new full wireless got announced. I could just refuse my package, but seeing that we do not know when it will go for sale, what price it will be etc. I decided to just stay with old design. But as I stated in my other comment, while i think that 13 speed and full wireless is nice I do see some drawbacks from new design as well.

Let's start from the positives:

- 13-speed, obviously it's great having an option to go up to 13 gears, but atm 13 speed cassettes are quite expensive and there is also a weight drawback, so while nice options ot have imo its not really essential.
- Full wireless is great, no flimsy cables or battery pack, but it has drawbacks i will discuss later.
- Seemingly much more robust B screw bracket and metal piece(yes the one that snapped in blue version for trace velo).
- RD of the same weight even when it has battery attached now(overall system around 80-100g lighter)
- USB-C charging, no flimsy proprietary charging cable.
- Possibly cheaper due to less components(no left shifter buttons, no cables or battery pack)

For drawbacks
- First generation of full wireless, might have some hidden troubles that did not get caught by Ltwoo, like many of their other first gens.
- 400mAh battery capacity. Previously we had around 1600mAh in the seatpost pack that Ltwoo claimed lasted 3000km, but many user claimed less. Still had an option of putting vapcell F15 in there for example and get total of 3000mAh capacity(7,5 times what full wireless has).
- No shifter buttons on left lever
- No swappable battery

I think overall its a step in a good direction, but at the same time at one point i was thinking I could try to use er9 FD. No Idea if it will work yet, as there is not a lot of information but it would be pretty cool if it's a viable option. I would need new battery pack and cable but i could have USB-C charging and an option to go 2x. And replacement cables are still like 20$ so I think i'm going to order them just in case they become unavailable later down the line. But still my main reason is battery capacity and possibility of maybe creating 2x system as i live in pretty flat place. The only reason i did not go for eRX is becouse I still enjoy riding forest or dirt roads the most.

Overall, I wish i knew they will refresh eGR a week after i ordered, but at the same time I don't think it would change my decision.

What store did you order through? Did you retain the buttons on the left shifter or the new set that dropped the shifters?

I order via 80s desginer store, initially they send me a picture of a blue version of shifters but i recieved the golden ones. They both still have all the buttons just updated letter colour and rubber design. Overall what i got is just a redesign of a blue version.

Just recieved a new eGR groupset, ordered it around 4 weeks ago. I had to pay around 350$ for the groupset and additional 35$ as tax and import fees, it spent 3 weeks of it's journey sitting in different import offices but thnakfully i did not have to pay the full amount of tax + vat. I will share some of my first impressions and thoughts about it and some pictures.

First of all it looks very good in person, I did not expect it to look this premium, shifters and RD are very nice and felt good quality, especially for that price, brakes look amazing as well. Battery pack and cables is where Ltwoo lost some points from me, battery pack is extreamly flimsy and cables themsevles do not feel very durable imo, especially with the need to unplug one to recharge(yes I still recieved the old version but in gold colour, not the full wireless).

When trying to setup and test the groupset ofc the link to android app on their website does not work and forces user to find it via google play store, instructions are very outdated as well, and app itself while ok, it could use some work and improvements(Iw would not accept my password despite fulfilling all conditions and required reinstall). Afterwards mounting CR2032 batteries in shifters was horrible, rubber was very hard to pull back and replacing the batteries will be even more of a pain(at least rubber will get slightly worn out and might be easier to pull off). I also purchased the wrong 14500 batteries as i got ones with flat top, but LTWOO requires button style ones, I ordered some neodymium magnets to work around the issue as i got F15 Vapcells that have 1500mAh capacity each and it would be too expensive to just ordered another ones, and contact resistance in this wattage should not make much of a difference so for anyone else 5x1mm neodymium magnets should work as top button replacement for this application.

Now I have not been able to test much more and just checked the weight of entire groupset atm as im still waiting for my lightcarbon LCG074-D frame to build an entire mostly aliexpress gravel bike, but hopefully in around a month I can come back and give some more of my thoughts about this group.

I have recieved the V3 version, but with updated shifters and letter coloring to gold ones, seemingly its a transition version of between full wireless that was recently announced and old V3 or blue version. I attached some pictures for the weight and how the groupset looks with updated visuals.(First time attaching a picture to a comment so it might not be ideal)

My new build LCG074 with GRX820, currently on road wheels :)

Hey, great looking build.

If I could ask, when did you order and how long roughly did it take for the frame to make it to you? I decided to splurge on it 4 weeks ago hoping to get it before season starts but apparently they don't have any fork availability atm and the current estimated production time is another month :(

But the frame looks very good in that red color, i cheaped out and got default matte black and totally paid final price of 890$ for the version with SP03 seat post, default paint, integrated handlebars and CEMA ceramic bearing BB(it includes shipping and paypal handling charge as well). Finished my order with Tina from lightcarbon and She has been great help but still very disappointing there was estimate of 2 weeks for delivery and no mention of forks being out of stock, so for anyone aiming for this frame in this future it would be worth to make sure before ordering.

From the looks of it the new version finally swapped to carbon fiber shifters(according to the website it was only aluminium before), although it's dissapointing to see that the left shifter lost it's buttons so there is now no hope for letting us assign shifting to two levers at once.

The ergonomics for shifters are now exactly the same as newest golden eRX version and it looks like rubber and shape got updates, it seems they are slightly longer and have gentler angle to them now, lever shape is also changed.

The brakes seem to be the same ones that started shipping at the start of 2026 and just slightly updated V3 version that do not need adapters to mount.

Now the most exciting for sure is the RD, finally we have a full wireless system and it seems they optimized the weight a bit since it claims to be the same 333g as previous version(info from the website) despite now having a battery included(overall the groupset is lighter by the weight of battery pack, cable and batteries). But the rated capacity of 400mAh is concerning, previously the battery pack came with two 800mAh for a total of 1600mAh and while LTWOO claimed 3000km range, based on posts on this forum realistically it was way lower. Now they claim 1500km range with 400mAh so unless they made some massive improvements to current consumption of their RD, range might be a real problem with the new version. USB-C charging is the second best change right after full wireless imo and very very welcome one. Now the RD officially supports up to 50T cassette but the cage design does not seem to be different so it might just be updated spec sheet instead of any real change but will need to be verified once they ship the product. Also integrated battery is not ideal but as someone else mentioned it's mostly due to SRAM patents, but it will be sad not having the option to just swap the cells or upgrade them to higher capacity sometimes down the line.

I hope price will also go down a bit since now only one shifter requires electronics and all the HW, while the other is just a brake so hopefully it can bring the cost down even further. I hope they also release 2x12 version since the shifter is direct copy of eRX now so should not require much R&D there and only require new FD design(hopefully finally fully wireless FD as well and maybe full wireless eRX in the future?).

Lastly their product refreshes and naming scheme is super confusing, they have at this point like 6 different versions of their eGR product and no database with spec sheet for older generations, their manual is also very outdated alongside their instructions videos. Hopefully they update the older generations to 13s as well but it might be just hopeful thinking since they got 2 different models at the moment on their website, one for 10-12s and the other for 10-13s and there might be HW differences between the two.

Overall new refresh seems very interesting and step in the right direction but imo the first generation of this refreshed product might not be as refined and need improvment. Still the most concerning part is the battery capacity of RD, and removal of control buttons from left shifter.
