Is there any body over 6 feet riding an XL having been on a frame with 73 degree seat tube angle? Wondering what the 401 reach and forward geo does to the position and how much weight is tipped onto the hands as a result with a 74 degree ST.

398 reach is too long so surely 401 would be worse, but the hips sit closer to the bars so it's difficult to figure out from online charts.

I'm 6'1 and currently riding a VB-R-177 which is a XL frame with 73 degree seat tube angle. It has a 403mm reach and a few weeks ago I went from a 20mm offset to a 0mm offset seatpost. I had to tweak quite a bit of things to make it comfortable again. I for sure had to push my cleats further back and change the horizontal seat angle and overall seatpost hight a bit.

Right now I'm more comfortable than before but I definitely think the higher stack + aero riser will make my position event more comfy. According to my bike fitter I'm quite flexible but I also notice that I'm more prone to sores than before. Turning 37 this month and bought my current frame when I was 32.

The LC has more tire clearance and is half the price basically? Heavier maybe?

Both 35c. Biggest difference is seatpost angle.

That price increase is the real stickler tbh, I've no doubts at all on quality and would be happy to spend more considering how good my cs-r01 has been, but when you go over 1500 for a frame you really start to incorporate resale into the decision, brands like Tavelo and winspace hold better mindshare in that regard and are seen as a more known bet.

Between 1800 and 1900 dollars including handlebar (by the way, those are relatively expensive compared to frame + fork) and a custom color sounds pretty good if you ask me. Sure, it's a lot of money and the brand is lesser known, but still cheaper than a flagship model Tavelo or Winspace.

Maybe we will see a price drop to $1200 just as the Gran Tourismo.
