how do you secure the seat post in the frame? is it that silver piece pushing against the seat post?

yes, you should use this silver plate ;)

you would not believe me but Jack wrote me today one month after I did the payment saying that the size that came out from painting was the wrong one and he wanted to refund the money...

I am in discussion with him how to sort it out but of course it made me had to cancel all the short term plans because i will not have the time for build it in time.

Not sure if it happened to some of you guys but it is very frustrating..

Not a good news also for me, they are delaying another time for me also ;x

The build is finally finished 😄🔥

Everything went together without any issues. No problems during the assembly and overall I’m really happy with how the FM336 turned out.

Current weight is 8.3 kg without bar tape (still needs to be installed).

Now it’s time for the first test ride 👀

looks great :D what handlebar is that?

Have you guys seen this article?

https://www.mondincecycle.com/news/details/id/516.html

I really like the downtube storage box :D

but you know that all this articles, reviews etc. are only done for SEO? shitty way but you need to start with something to be visible in google ;) and now with all AI tools, 5 clicks and we got something for google ;p (is it working?
I doubt it)

I’ve been happy with my frame. Just built up the 296 and it’s sick. My biggest gripe is with Lexon and their handlebars. The bars feel/look fantastic but crack while torquing to 5nm (manufacturers specs). With how many folks this has happened to, I find it interesting that they have such good reviews on AE.

Anyway, wrong thread but here is my 296. Blacked out.

ahhh shit Ive bought this lexon handlebar :|

I contacted Mondince. They know about the problem with threading the brake hose. The problem was due to too much glue.

And because of that they paused sending my frame heh... Waiting for info from Jack
