500 km into my build and, like many other people, I have a creaking / squeaking sound. Every time I went above 200 W, the sound appeared with every pedal stroke.

I replaced the stock Gineyea BB with a SRAM one. It did reduce the noise a bit, but the squeaking was still there. I tried multiple things, and today I finally found the culprit: it is the door of the storage compartment.

Even though I have the v3 door, my guess is that under high power, the downtube flexes slightly and the door rubs against it.

Anyway, for anyone experiencing a creaking sound, try cycling without the door. It was very obvious in my case. I will try putting some tape all around the edges of the door and see if it improves the situation.

I just can't seem to get to the bottom of this creaking issue.
At first, I thought the creaking was coming from the stock bottom bracket, so I swapped it for a new Kactus BB; the creaking improved slightly.
Then I installed a new Praxis Works BB, and the creaking improved significantly—now it only happens when putting down over 200W of power on the drive side, specifically when the crank arm is between the 3 and 6 o'clock positions.
In the meantime, I swapped out the pedals and crank arms to rule out other potential causes.

After replacing everything and seeing a major improvement with the Praxis Works BB, I decided to try a one-piece BB and ordered the Bicone BB.
Unfortunately, the creaking persists—still occurring between the 3 and 6 o'clock crank positions when putting out over 200W, even when I'm out of the saddle.

I don't think it's coming from the storage door, because I've already tried it without the down tube storage door and without the bag.

Are you using a crank from a brand other than Shimano or SRAM? Maybe that's the problem.

I’ve already tried it with Magene P515, 105, and Ultegra cranks. The creaking only changes depending on the bottom brackets.
I'm pretty sure it's not the crank.

And I’m pretty sure it’s the bottom bracket, because the higher the quality of the BB, the less it creaks. With the one from LC Genuya—or whatever it’s called—it happened on every pedal stroke, regardless of the wattage I was putting out.

Does anyone happen to know if the additional $300 is also charged on the LCR72? 

I thought you leave the spoke stickers on like kids do on their caps and hats 
I had my first testride yesterday. Did only 20km and only 57kmh max, because of course i wanted to test the brakes and brake them in.

I had a rattling noise comming somewhere from the frame. I found 3 things.
1.) My Ali-Express Carbon bottle holders are super stiff. They might start vibrating when driving over street cracks. I rode with only 1 botlle. will take 2 bottles on next ride.
2.) My RideNow TPU inner tube valve is rattling against the Elitewheehls Edge 1.0 50mm rim. I did never experience that in 3000km on my Radon bike before. I put a O-Ring on it. I am quite sure i have a sticker at the valve on the rim inside. Maybe it wore out ?
3.) There is a ?knob? on the end of the zipper of the frame back. If that lays on the frame and gets bounced arround, it makes strong noises. I removed the ?zipper-thingy? first, found out about the noise the knob thning can still make and the put on my left over dampening foam around it. Is that overkill? Hell yeah!


I had also that clicking noise when giving load to the paddles outside the saddle. I guess at 400-500 Watts i have the clicking.
I cut away 60mm of the seat tube.
I also tried Iso-Tape, but then i would have to insert the seat post with extrem force into the frame because it doesnt really fit.
Removed the tape, added additional Dynamic carbon paste to seatpost and frame.... hoping for the best.

Does anyone have the shape of the seatpost as DXF or so?
I want to print a Garmin Radarmount for this seatpost.

Did shortening the seatpost help?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my experiences with the LCR18 and perhaps ask for some help.
I ordered my frame on May 19th, and it arrived on Monday, July 20th (size 56cm, raw glossy carbon).
The packaging and the parcel itself survived the shipping to Germany well. During the build, I had major issues routing the 105 Di2 cable—likely due to sharp edges in the chainstay junction area. It took me two hours to get the cable through, even using a routing tool.

Build specs: 105 Di2 groupset with Magene P515, old carbon spoke Lightcarbon wheelset; total weight came to 7.9 kg including SPD pedals from ali. Carbon elitaone saddle.

I noticed creaking on the first ride, and it got significantly worse over time. I initially used the included Gineyea bottom bracket. I thought, "Okay, it must be the BB" (like the issue a fellow the English YouTuber had), so I installed a new Kaktus ceramic BB I had bought beforehand. After just 5 km, that one started creaking too. I wondered if it might be the old Magene P515 crankset, that I reused, so I swapped it for a brand-new, unused 105 crank, but the creaking returned after 5 km. I checked the frame for cracks or loose BB cups (I always apply plenty of Shimano Premium Grease before installation), but found nothing obvious. Checked and greased all of the true axles, Based on where the noise is coming from, it has to be the bottom bracket area. Strangely enough, it also creaks when you flex the frame from side to side while applying a bit of pressure, or even just when you step on a pedal. However, when the bottom bracket is removed, there is no creaking, even with lateral pressure.

Now I’ve ordered a Praxis Works BB and hope that fixes the problem.

Have any of you had similar experiences?
