Well, it seems my rear SR278C hub is no exception when it comes to bearing issues - it developed a play. Has anyone here tried replacing the bearings themselves? Do I need any special tools?

How about a endurance version of the frame LCR-018? Should have a higher stack to begin with...

At 180 cm tall, this was exactly the same thinking process when deciding between sizes 52 and 54 (with an older handlebar/stem combo)

50 mm deep, 5 mm carbon spokes, silver hubs, HG freehub; weighted at 1196 g (without tape)

Paired with GP5000 in 30 mm version (clincher version, measured at 31 mm) and TPU inner tubes they feel fast and noticeably more comfortable than my previous wheels with Sapim CX steel spokes. The ratchet also has a nice metallic sound to it ...

I am 180 cm and ride 54 cm with the shortest stem and 0 mm offset. As there is no much difference between the 52 and 54 except the 54 being a bit taller, I would suggest going with a 49 and opting for a longer stem and/or 20 mm offset.

How long did it take from placing an order to delivery and where to?

Placed an order (50 mm, 5 mm carbon spokes, silver hubs). Let's see how they turn out ...

The thing is, I mostly do longer and steeper climbs when and where possible. I currently run ICAN AERO35s with 21 mm internal and 35 mm depth on Sapim cx-ray spokes that weight just below 1300 g that I bought new on auction for a fraction of the sticker price. The wheels are fine and all, but I am very tempted to try deeper wheels with carbon spokes (3.5 or even 5 mm) and would love to decrease the weight if possible. I will also need to check the aesthetics of 60 mm deep wheels on my bike.

Thanks! I am rocking DT 370 on my mountain bike with upgraded 60-tooth ratchet ring from AliX and could not be more pleased (oh, the sound!). I service my hubs regularly so I prefer the ratchet system from that perspective as well.

I've been eyeing these wheelsets for a while now, but I am so confused with all the hubs. What should I look for a decent ratchet (DT) style hub? I am at 78 kg more or less climbing avoiding sprints if possible, if that matters. Any suggestions? 248/268?

Same numbers. Have both, I ride with no offset and a 90 mm stem (size according to LCR) and I feel the position on the bike is still pretty aggressive.

To confuse people even more, some brands (e.g. Colnago) have a completely different sizing system while using more or less the same numbers. It all boils down to geometry charts instead of relying on commercial sizes (such as 54, M, long etc.).

Finally, some common sense! I don't understand the logic behind people with long torso opting for a bigger bike (i.e. longer seat tube resulting in a higher seating position) and short stem. Wouldn't be more logical to go with a smaller size frame and longer stem instead in such cases?
