L-Twoo 12 speed hydraulic groupset has dropped on AliEx! I'm tempted, but I'm in no rush!

BTW - This seller is top notch, they send photos of the item and package before shipping and my last item I ordered from them arrived within a 1 1/2 weeks to the US from China.

Yeah. 11sp definitely looks more appealing price wise.

Indeed, considering the brakes are included that makes about 250 for the brifters and dérailleurs. Not that bad.
Now they have to do 1x11 and 1x12 for even cheaper.

Edit:it is 400 eur for the 22 speed here in the EU... So still not very cheap. Half of the price of the 105 groupset with crank... So about 500eur vs 800eur with chinese crank.

I'd definitely be more interested in their 11 speed hydraulic setup. Also since L-Twoo's road/gravel shifters are Shimano compatible you could potentially even skip their FD/RD and use Shimano 11 speed derailleurs.

Yes, great find.  Street price is usually around $40 for these chains.   I just purchased 2, so only 4 are left for sale.

I've heard of vendors selling worn out chains on ebay as of late, so I would take caution or check the chain for wear/growth as soon as you get it.

Any performance advantage with these Dura Ace chains? I tend to buy whichever is on sale. I usually get SRAM chains because they tend to go on deep discounts and lately I've been using PYC chains. They're a Taiwanese brand and are less likely to be counterfeited unlike KMC chains which have also gone up in price quite a bit.

I believe they just keep getting lighter as you go up the hierarchy. Probably won't be noticeable to many but weight weenies care about that a lot. I ordered one in Ultegra spec and other in DA. Let's see how it goes. I was also looking for whatever is on sale but none beat these prices on top of that my Ultegra order was accepted at $17 shipped. I also have a KMC chain coming in from Aliex but it's taking its own sweet time. What are the chances it's counterfeit? Any tell tale signs?

KMC has chain manufacturing in both Taiwan and China.  The chain you receive will probably be a KMC chain.  But, there is always the chance KMC manufacturers lower end chains that are not imported or advertised in the USA or Europe (Like the X series, or the DLC series chains)  An Aliex store might be selling a lower quality chain as a higher end chain. 
If the chain comes in an official sealed KMC plastic box, then chances are it is the correct chain.

This article shows some good examples of fake vs real. Great starting point. The KMC examples are somewhat harder to spot but Shimano ones are clear.

The DA chains should come with hollow pins, if not then it’s fake per the author.

Wasn't the official LTWoo press release the price is suppose to be a lot lower? I guess we'll got to see when it is officially in the LTwoo store to see what the price should actually be.

I think it was supposed to be below $300 USD for the hydraulic groupset. The current mechanical LTwoo 12 speed RX is like $150 USD minus the brake calipers. It's definitely worth waiting if you're not in a rush.
