I’d assumed these frames that get sold by multiple companies in China are all actually manufactured in the same factory but perhaps I’m mistaken? Certainly the inside of my frame was also super clean as expected for an EPS frame.
At the outset, i asked LT if they sold to VB, they basically said no comment. I'm pretty sure the 2020 VB version didn't use EPS / foam molding, and while i can't say for a fact that my 268 was foam molded, the inside did look super clean (the VB 168 and GF002 were not). And so for these frames that are not branded, whether they're from the same factory, the same mould, the same mold but different manufacturing process, how skills / process evolve over time, afaik we're left guessing. We do know that VB is a broker, and so is Yeoleo. I dont think ICAN is a factory either, but you might also be buying a different version of the frame you'd buy from the factory.
Or they're all exactly the same. Who knows
I do know i like my bike a lot though. I feel like it's the bike that's enabled me to push the most watts (position wise, i'm upright on this thing), which ultimately is what i care about: building / maintaining fitness, and bragging about my FTP (as indicated by Dylan Johnson, my FTP is your FTP+10W).
