Happy Holidays!
I've used several from ali. IME using with DuraAce they slowly bent with use and required periodic adjustment. I was worried about the fatigue of the cheap aluminum and switched to using a more expensive one.
I think SRAM sell them for 15 or 18 bucks, no? If i understood it correctly, the UDH comes from SRAM, not that you need to use a SRAM RD, or buy a SRAM hanger.
yes, UDH comes from sram. but afaik they do not sell a direct mount hanger
https://www.sram.com/en/sram/models/ac-drhg-mtb-a1Is that not it?
I'm confused now
What OP is looking for is a direct mount hanger (so to replace the top link that you'd see on a Shimano derailleur) that is made for bikes that use a UDH. Silca make such a product (see the one for Shimano):https://silca.cc/products/udh-derailleur-hangerI looked for a cheaper alternative a little while ago on AliExpress but couldn't find one.
I'm curious would a UDH direct mount hanger actually be more durable from falls and bumps compared to other direct mount hangers?
i've found one last night: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007725054515.htmlbut out of the 3 options i'd still go with the one linked in my first post on this topic since i'm not willing to pay the silca premium
