In carbon, to be significantly cheaper than velobuild is asking for trouble. We know velobuild is safe, but they are running a tight ship. they dont really do discounts, they dont really do marketing, they are a lean operator, they clearly compete on price.
If you buy the cheapest carbon frame you find on aliexpress, there's so much that can go wrong, the risk of time & energy you may have to waste trying to get shit to work...
China will absolutely sell you trash if you ask for it.

I know this is an old topic in this thread but personally I think a cool take on bike decals is to modify an existing manufacturer's decal into something funny. For example, "cannondale" can become "nondale" if you cut off the first 3 letters from the vinyl. I've taken a "mongoose" decal set and labeled my bike "goose" (complete with a goose head sticker on my headtube  ). I've seek "TREK" turned into "REKT". I've seen "Specialized" turned into "Special" as well as "Special ed" (a risky choice for sure). You could take "DOGMA" stickers and turn them into "DOG". The possibilities are endless, and that's just with standard factory stickers, not even getting into custom stickers.

Anyways. I think it's a fun idea, a way to put some graphic design on the bike that makes it look like a "real" bike while poking fun at the "unbranded" nature of these bikes. Just a thought for anyone here who wants some kind of decals but don't want to appear cringe.

I think the only one that has really built an enduring reputation is the Winspace T1550. But you'll find a lot of people say it's overpriced at this point.

The nature of the space is that new bikes are released every year so by the time a bike is "vetted", it's pretty much an old design and there are fancier/shinier frames replacing it.

I think the best way to find the most vetted/discussed frames on this forum is to sort by the number of replies.

This will show you that the VB-R-168, Carbonda CFR1056, and Lightcarbon LCR017 are the most discussed frames.

Of course, you might find that a bike is highly discussed because it is problematic (see the VB-R-268), so really if you want to vet the frame yourself you'll need to read the whole thread.

There's a lot to cover. Why are they advertising "1x13", what does this imply? Are they making a "full" groupset with cassette discs and cranks? Are they locking us into 13 speed now?
The crankset looks like the senicx PR4 but it's not, the back of the cranks is different. Calipers are not the zrace ones and I don't recognize the rotors. The pic is blurry but it looks like the levers are exactly the same

I presume they are advertising "1X13" because it is one more gear than Scumano and SRAM sell on their main product lines.   If my memories are current, Campy is the only one selling 13 cog cassettes.   If you look at the majority of the "Twitter's" complete bicycles sold on Aliexpress, the majority of them are listed with Wheeltop EDS in either 1X13 2X13.    I am sure the product is still configurable for 7 to 13 speeds.  If they are putting a complete kit together to sell to OEM builders, then you might as well go with 13 speeds.
