The cockpit part is the headset, handlebar, stem and grips.
The missing thing are the seatpost, seatclamp, saddle.
Don't forget the rotors, thay are not always part of a brake set.

For the cockpit, seatpost, seatclamp and sadle, you can look on AliExpress. There are some cheap and descent kits (handlebar, stem, seatpost), less than 100 USD. I got my saddle also from AliExpress. You can find there a lot.

Vendor Discussion & Reviews / Re: Wrong wheel set delivered
« on: September 19, 2014, 08:14:49 AM »
Today, I received the correct wheel set at my office. After a really quick look, everything seems okay.

I'm happy with the solution that was offered. But I was happier to get the correct wheel set at the first time. But, a mistake is human.

If I have to order again by this vendor, I certainly will. No doubt.

29er / Re: Frame that accepts higher volume tires?

I can tell you that the IP-256SL is pretty full with a 2.25 Racing Ralph on a 30mm hookless rim.  There is perhaps a bit more room to fit a 2.35, but it would be very snug and your probably beat up the frame when mud and rocks tried to squeeze by.  With the 2.25 RaRa, there is about 0.25" between the outer tire tread lugs and the inner chain stay.
I've got the same configuration.
I made some pictures of the space that's left.

Component Deals & Selection / Re: Painting carbon frame / parts self
« on: September 18, 2014, 02:14:18 PM »
It's not really a sticker. Only the white sticks onto the frame. I sent my picture to this guy and he created three 'stickers' for me, for just 6 EUR (7.74 USD). It sticks on the frame very well, but I have to be careful with cleaning the bike at the edges of the sticker, it will let loose if I clean to hard at that point.

This guy owns frame-stickers.nl . If you use google "bike frame stickers", you definitely find someone nearby.

Nice to see you have so much fun with your bike. The IP-057 is a well proven frame. I hope my IP-256 is just as reliable as your frame

Maybe it's easier to use stickers. I ask someone to create a sticker of a dragonhead (see pictures below).
It's also possible to create name frame stickers.

Dragonhead on my headset:

I've always thought the Ritchey carbon stuff was some of the better that was available.
It's a fake one, it's not really Ritchey. It's a seatpost from China, aliexpress. I cannot find it anymore on AliExpress, but it's something like this, but with "Ritchey" printed on it: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Carbon-MTB-kit-for-bicycle-bike-use-flat-handlebar-seapost-stem-seatpost-clip-clamp-4pc-kit/2038107096.html

I think it's a fake one (for the price I paid for).
The only disadvantage of the saddle is the mud is coming through the saddle. I've got an ass-saver to prevent mud from below :)

Last weekend I was in Germany and during a simple trail my saddle clamp came off.
Today I glued it back with aerospace glue. I think this will do the trick.

It's a cheap knock off. To be honest, I didn't expect anything of this 8 USD saddle, but it suprised me. It's better than my previous saddle and I'll keep this one.

Bought it on aliexpress: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/IN-2014-Spider-Ergonomics-hollow-Bicycle-bicycle-parts-saddle-for-men-women-mtb-bike-seat-cushion/2038227912.html

My weight is 82 kg without kit. The weight of the saddle is 185 gram.

Damn, that's really bad luck! I hope it's possible to fix this rim.

I think I'll be happy that I've two sets of wheels.

Looks good!  Check out my thread for how I fixed the cable noise problem.  I've put a couple hundred miles on the bike since the fix and I still hear nothing.
Thank you Vipassana, I saw your post. I'll do this next week. It's not that annoying.
