I made the mistake of buying Cheji bibshorts - unwearable. Leg length like hot pants and fit totally off. Good fabrics, but terrible execution.

This shows the difference in body shapes. I think they're brilliant and the best fitting bib shorts I've bought despite having spent five times as much on other brands.

And thats why I keep on saying that posting about clothing sizing without context (user size and photos) means nothing. We can only talk about build / design quality and durability.

Plenty of stores sale authentic Shimano shoes for EXCELLENT prices. I know few have bought them, and so did I for my wife gravel riding.

If you can access Taobao, BontChina. I recently ordered a pair of Riot 24 Wide for $220 ~ CAD. There are also Shimano shoes on that platform and Aliexpress (for a slight mark-up).

Some advice if you can read Chinese: Taobao does direct shipping to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, USA and other countries within Asia (such as Malaysia and Singapore).

If you need to produce something, I highly recommend https://www.tarstone.com/, Lena helped me produce jerseys for a local team, they were amazing, super fast, helpful, and had excellent prices, I used one of their suits for 100+km and the pad had no problems.

Did they agree to make one piece? The MOQ on the pages is declared as 10. And if that’s not a secret, what was the price and shipping costs.

Looks like I can get a pair of riot24s in Europe from reputable stores for circa 200euro, ditto for the Shimano shoes on Ali, often cheaper from online stores. Thanks for the recommendation though

Well..I do have Santic road shoes. But sales is really the better option. I mean these shoes will still be perfectly fine one season later. And the prizes are pretty good. I wanted these santic shoes specifically because of the design. Other than that I tend to get better deals with shoes during sale.

Absolutely agree!
If one wants to be even better, the " shape" also makes a difference. E.g. people having their mass mainly in the legs with narrow shoulders need a very different fit than someone with broad shoulders  and skinny legs.

Thanks for all the input and insight on cycling jackets being sold through Aliexpress.  I've spent several hours reviewing the majority of "lightweight" and "Ultra-lightweight" jackets, and none of the jackets jump out as a product I want to invest in.   

Regarding name brands,  I don't like the huge price disparity between these ultralight products that seem to cost $150 to $200 more versus more common heavier rain jackets.   Do I really want to spend an extra $150 on "technical gear"to save 4oz to 8 oz on a coat?

I've been layering up with the clothing I already take on my bicycle camping trips for years and get by this way, so do I really need a water-proof/ rain resistant jacket?

I started using this $5 to $10 outer rain resistant shell a couple of years ago, (link below) and for most rain storms, while riding, or at the camp, this shell has met my needs.  I have been taking my $25 Costco Eddie Bauer 14 oz puffy down jacket on colder trips, and put this outer shell over the puffy and I have been good to go. (The only problem is if/when the puffy gets soaked, then it gets cold fast.)

I am looking at (affordable) good quality custom made cycling kit, where I could send them digital our local club logos. And they could print it on their product line.

Any good recomendations, experiances? And how long did it take to get it?

I have one long sleeve from them and it's absolutely fantastic. On par with way more expensive clothes. Skinsuit looks nice, the question is how good is the padding. I personally prefer it thicker on the front, as I sit a lot on the nose of the saddle and that's definitely the case for most people in aero position.
