The number of spacers depends on the type of bottom bracket and crankset (Sram or Shimano). Here is the Ostro Vam assembly manual:

I found this spacing to be correct for the ceramicspeed t47a. However for the official sram dub bb, they have their own chart for spacers.

The use of spacers depends more on the chain line and the crank axle being securely fastened without any play.

Not all frames use a T47A bottom bracket. Some replicas of the Factor VAM frame use the standard T47.

if not T47a, it isn't a replica  :-\
