What do you mean by flexible spot? I ordered similar wheels so I would also like to check them upon arrival.

When I squeese the wheel with my fingers, it feels flexible and not stiff. And there is a spot that sinks in under load, and makes sound when rolling. I have a video where it is very clear, but I believe you cannot post videos here. (I´m uloading a GIF, dont know if that will work)

Factory said it was flimsy because they made them lightweight, but that they would be making a replacement wheel with more material.

Yes I see it is a static GIF. However, if you see in the image, there is a spot near the ground where the carbon is recessed inwards

Hello, just finished building my bike. I need to make some adjustments and will be getting a replacement front wheel, as the one I got had a flexible spot.

I’m in the USA. I am very anxious about what the duty fee might be for this frame from Velobuild… During AliExpress’ 11/11 sale, I ordered a crankset from Magene’s official store that specifically said “no additional duty”, but then DHL charged me $54 for a $213 crankset. Magene’s official store stopped responding to me the moment I sent them the screenshot from the sales page. Magene is a big store so I don’t believe that it was a “surprise”. I hope Velobuild doesn’t show up with a bill that’s 25% of it’s value…

Can anyone confirm that this T47/86 DUB Inboard BB will fit this frame? I believe it will (inboard as opposed to outboard due to the wider 86.5mm frame width stated on VB's website... but I still want to be certain).

Yes you need a T47i (i for internal). That one on the link will fit perfectly

Thinking of getting a TT frame within the next 6 months. Do ya'll think they'll have an update to this or maybe new frames to drop with better carbon or QC?

Went out for first test ride...
Handlebar slipped (common issue) and clipped brake hoses.

Talked to Chris from Velobuild and told me to get shorter screws (12mm including bold head instead of the ones that came with the bike which are 20mm including bolt head, 15mm without bolt head) so stem can clamp handlebar better.

Has anyone tried this or how have you prevented handelbar from turning?

I used a lot of grip paste and tightened the screws meticulously and evenly (4.5 Nm, I think).
After that, I had no more problems.

Out of interest: how can shorter screws help it to fit better?

I will be adding more grip paste, screws are already tightened to almost 5Nm and still slipping.

According to Chris, the longer screw in the front two hole limits how much you can tighten since it tops with the carbon as the hole is not that big. I'm not sure if it works, but I guess i have to try
