Let me give props to these wheels from Peter, on recommendations of our dear Serge ;)

Couple of months ago I was riding my bike on a slight uphill (2-3%) and was going relatively fast, around 37km/h and I noticed a construction line/tear across the whole road (the cut-out in asphalt to put cables and stuff across), but was completely assured it's only around 20-30cm wide, so I decided to jump it, only too late to notice the thing was at least 60-80cm wide, so I SLAAAAMEEED my rear wheel so hard on the mere edge of that gap, thinking it will CERTAINLY be some problem, broke spoke, frame, rim... Pulled up right away, and was amazed it survived without a single scratch, crack or anything else.

tldr... I'm 85kgs, riding at 35+km/h slamed a "cheap chinese wheels" and they survived. One personal experience I will remember when ordering another wheelset for another bike.

wheels are 50mm/26/33 T800 rims, sapim cxray, xmcs hubs. 24spokes. 1400ish grams.

Hi! Do we have product info/specs on the various hubs that are offered? I went through the whole thread, and learned that their in-house options are:

- 21/21H
- 20/20H
- 18/18H
- 16H front hub

For each hub, I was interested in learning about:
- weights
- colors (silver/Ti, black, other?)
- ratchet options for each rear hub
- freehub body options (HG, XD, Microspline, campy, other?)
- straight pull only?
- photos /dwgs

Lastly, what non-carbon spokes are available? what is the baseline spoke? and what are "upgrades" (cx-ray, cx-super, pillar, etc)?

Hi, referring to the post above. I have wheels from Peter since april, 35 mm rim, external 33 mm, 26 mm internal, XDR hub, 1095 g, simply the best! I have Conti Archeotype 30 mm on it, and that set is amazing! Rode almost 10k km, no issues, wheels are stiff, comfortable, no problems! I tested them on:
1. climbing during Ultrafondo The Everest so more than 260 km and more than 9200 m up during one event,
2. on Mallorca
3. some local climbs and our Polish mountains, and descents were I felt very confident.

All of that with 30mm tires and I really can notice the difference! Fully and 100% satisfied and happy!

My 2nd set of XMCS wheels came in the mail today and weighed in at 1168g for the set.

No quality control issues at all. Super smooth edges both inside the rim bed and out. So happy to have my prefered Aero 111 front and TT TR rear tyre setup again. There were no issues with fitting tyres without levers and both wheels run true with tyres inflated to 60PSI.

I actually think the standard UD finish looks better on the bike too!

Looks great, weight is interesting. Can you share the specs of the wheelset?

Beautiful bike, may I ask what the outer width is? 16/18 looks better to me. He quoted me 24/24.

One question on the XMC in-house-hub and Centerlock disc rotors: Is anyone using internal lock rings?

I am currently on external and look for new disc rotors.

Anyone using the current promotion 21h hubs? Any experience or concerns since it is the side loaded spoke style

I've had Chaser internals on since April, no issues.

Why did you pick 5mm spokes? I want almost the same config, but can't decide whether to go for less-stiff superlight spokes, or 3.8mm or 5mm haha! (5mm look the best by far)

Looks like XMCS's shopping cart is broken for me after trying for a couple of days. Anyone else having issues placing an order?
My wife thinks I have too many bikes. I think I have too many wives.
