I had this one on my shortlist, until I saw the triangle thingies on the back, not my cup of tea unfortunately :(

Doubt it does much of anything, but I guess the aesthetic is a personal preference.
It doesn’t bother me much either way and certainly wasn’t a deciding factor, but everyone is different and there’s nothing wrong with that!

Interested to know what else is on your shortlist, as an aero bike with a real world decent stack is hard to find. I think it is the next big category as it makes so much sense for “normal” riders who don’t have the flexibility of pros.

The only other bikes that come to mind are Peters new XM Carbon frameset (Gran Tourismo) or the Dogma X….which is just ever so slightly out of budget!

Not a photo (I guess we all only have the couple of photos from LC so far), but here is my frame size 52

On this blueprint you can see the fork and seatstay triangles with a 38C tube mounted

As someone quite tall (200cm) I felt left out with these frame sizes, but still love this endurance all-road style, especially the combination of aero and 38-40mm tire clearence.

I send an email to LightCarbon asking about bigger frame sizes and got a reply of no plans of bigger frame sizes.
However they also told me: "for size 58cm, the C-T is 560mm."

Am I checking the wrong frame geometry or is it not 560mm but 530mm?

You are right there is seat tube length 530mm in geo chart for size 58cm.
It would be nice if anyone can confirm this. Iam also nearly 2m tall, but Iam using pretty low seat height so 58cm for me would fit like a glove. It would be nice to have confirmation about if that geometry chart is correct.

This is the correct geometry chart. The low C-T is to be expected for a bike with a sloping top tube. The canyon aeroad in large, with a horizontal TT, has a C-T of 561 while an sl8 in a size 58 only has 515.

Thank you. Yes, for me geometry of this frame is pretty much perfect and that 530 seat tube is fine. I just wanted to be sure if it is actually correct chart.

in the eurobike pictures it has 40mm tires doesnt it? i completed my order yesterday and was told itd be ready in october, when it arrives ill try my current wheels that have 42 sworks pathfinders fitted but i dont expect they will fit. ill probably get some gp5000 all seasons or Schwalbe Pro One addix 38, there a limited choice of slicks in 35 or 38 sizing

Yes, the Eurobike showbike had Wolfpack Gravel Superspeed tires, which are labeled as 40c/40mm tires. According to BRR testing, those Wolfpack tires measured 38mm on their 18mm ID control rim, while the ones I want to use (Caracal Race 40C) measured 40mm, on the same rim. On my wheels, the Caracal Race measure a bit above 41mm, maybe 41,5mm (21mm ID rim). Not knowing the ID from the wheels used on the Eurobike showbike, my hope is that the rated 38C tire clearance is a bit conservative... :fingerscrossed:

You can see the diagram on the of the previous posts. They show a 38mm width in the plan, and if you blow that up actual size you’ll see there isn’t much clearance.

I want to use 40mm wide rims and I’m questioning if they’ll fit

Yes, I already "studied" those diagrams of the rear triangle and I think there's a fair bit of chance I'll be able to fit the Caracal Race 40C, coming from the fact the Eurobike showbike had those Wolfpack tires and there seems to be a bit of clearance left. Keep in mind that I'll be using regular carbon road wheels with 21mm ID...

I forgot to state that I'll be using a 1x groupset. I don't know if using a front mech will affect rear tire clearance...

I dont think anyone has actually received a frame yet as it's just going into production.
I ordered mine a few weeks ago and have been told it should be ready sometime in October.
As soon as I have any info or photos of the finished frameset ill let everyone know.
