@Eddy, i know it may not be that easy, but if you were able to integrate in your design/manufacturing a "Swat box" like Specialized does on the diagonal tube of their bikes, you would position your products one step above direct competition.
I would love it!

And I'm sure we all would love it!

That would add complexity, longer design time, and most importantly cost that I’m not interested in personally.

I'd have to agree. Also, perhaps introduce some weak points in the frame. I'm sure specialized does plenty of testing to get theirs right.

What I would like to see them do to set themselves (and this frame) above competitors is to use high-quality hardware (bearings, bolts, etc). Maybe even offer as a paid upgrade option.

Exactly.  As my first bike build I would rather not have to also invest in tools and hardware just to replace shit quality bearings that shouldn’t be there in the first place.

Not just the bearings, the bolts, everything must be nicer! If we have the option. Otherwise we'll have fun getting it together ourselves I guess.

I see your point and understand.
Definitely high quality bearings and bolts would already be a nice point. The shock bolts on my current Ican are far from stellar :-[ (slighty bent)

A friend works for a lightning company that outsourced some components to China, and the first things they suggested to him was to save a lot(really a lot) on screws and bolts.
While it makes sense for something that is kind of disposable, screw it once and forget. On a bike it is a totally different need.
We should try to make them understand crappy bolts and bearings have no place on a bike.

The same could be said about the cables end caps/grommets they offer with the frame.
Branded bikes have them nicely done, giving a final touches that we can't have.

Yes - Medium.  haven't thought about color.  Just watched the Pinkbike roadtrip series last night and the Hightower looked pretty good.  If this is a copy ... works for me.

Watched some Hightower reviews - I'm confused on the sizing.  If I went to the store and bought a size L Hightower, am I choosing a L in this frame too?  Or a M?
