...It is BB92 bottom bracket for the BB...
Just a warning for the ones who want to put a SRAM groupset.
BB92 is a very poor choice, as they are moving from the 22/24mm GXP spindle, to a 29mm DUB.
There is no room to put durable bearings in a 41mm hole.
If you are enough, and this is possible, I would pressure to have BSA or a BB386.

Now writing this, I have the feeling of already said that here ;)

GXP is pretty crap anyway - if you wanna run a SRAM crank use the 2mm adapter to run a proper 24/24 shimano BB.

Unfortunately a GXP spindle + 2mm adapter on a 24/24mm BB is quite bad too.
If I remember well from a Hambini video.
The issue seems to be a patent one, that only Shimano can put a 24mm floating axle between two bearings.
And SRAM came with GXP, that locks the left bearing, and as a result takes all the lateral load, and fail sooner.

The best solution I found was to put a BB Infinite shell. And easily change the bearings.
The bearings were lasting longer, but still the left one was failing early.

I just signed up to Chinertown.  I am definitely interested in groupbuy:

size:  Medium
color:  Orange
location:  California

I am new and have a question:

If I purchase this frame, I will be hiring a bike shop to assemble it for me.  Additionally, I want to spec the components to be similar to a Hightower Carbon S which is going for around $5200.  Additionally, I will purchase carbon wheelsets from lightbicycle.  Given all the components I have to purchase a le carte, and the fact that I have to hire for assembly, will there be significant savings compare to purchasing the Hightower Carbon S + lightbicycle wheelset?
Are you from Santa Cruz?

Well a Santa Cruz frame is 3000 or more, this is 500 and a bit

i would like to be part of this order too :) but i am not sure about the right size for me. i am around 184cm or 6,03675 feet tall and my step/leg lengh is around 84cm or 2,75591 feet. can´t decide between china M and china L size. also i have absolutely no experience with the new geometries or 29" mtb´s. atm i am riding an oldschool 26" ghost amr lector from 2009 in 48 cm/19 inch. anyone here who has a recommendation for me ?

I have a hard time recommending this for a new person who purely wants to save money. If you're having an LBS do everything, that's going to add up fast and you won't be able to sort out any of the possible issues you might have with a direct to consumer Chinese frame.

I actually think he was responding to different post further up in the thread.

We are almost the exact same height, btw, and we're indeed in-between the M and L... it could go either way depending on bar/stem choice, I guess. I'm currently down for a size L but may change for an M... not sure yet. Sorry I couldn't be more help but you're not alone in your dilemma.
