Thanks for sharing! I spoke with Crystal as soon as this beauty came out last year. Very nice to see a real one! I like that it looks a bit like the latest SHIV, meaning less beefy than many of its peers, yet, I assume, just / nearly as fast? And ofc, the 32C clearance.
So, 900 frame, let's say half of the shipping & custom fees for the frame, 465/2 + 422AUD/2, 900 + 465/2 + 274/2 = 1270 USD. I suspect / assume that for Europe, that'd be 900+175 using DDP/DPD, or USD 1075. Does Australia have tariffs? For the EU, a frame costs c. USD 130 to ship these days, and they take care of clearing customs. A TT frame weighs more, so I assume 175 instead of 130 (and it should be less), as it's pretty much charged per kilo.
What tyre width are you using / planning to use? if you put on big tyres, i'd be curious to see photos of tyre clearance.
The big question is around the extensions / plate, then. Is the mono block riser thing standard in the industry? Like is it typical to get a plate & skis from a 3rd party, when you get skis from a 3rd party, or is there an assumption that new skis somehow interface with the existing front end of the bike because there's something standard?
For comfort, i'd probably want to use skis that are more shaped, so i can rest my forearms on the skis, rather than having old school poles like you have here. But is there a standard fitting for these things?
And does ICAN offer options with the front end, or is the version you got the only one?
How wide is the base bar? I dont understand why base bars arent 36cm by default, if not 34. Last time i checked, 36cm base bars didn't exist, which i find shocking.
how is the clearance between the seat tube and the rear tire as well as the chain stays near the BB?Looks like there is 10mm or more each side. This is with 25mm tyres

Same mold but around 400/500g difference for the frame
Is that for the same frame size and like for like? If so I wonder how they get the weight down if it’s the same mould. It’s 1/3 of the weight.
I should have weighed mine before I put it together.
Would it be possible to add different extensions to this handlebar? Like the Winow ones?I'm in the process of fixing a new plate to accept Winow or others. Just looking at my options before I buy a set.
I saw in your other post that de plate (from mono riser to the extensions) is specific to the round extension poles?
Could you manufacture a new plate, or adapt the existing plate to use different extensions?
Thanks!
I've been looking at your pictures, and the technical drawings a bit. These are just my thoughts.
In the current configuration, all the load is transferred both via the bolts (the bolts work mostly in tension), as well as via the spacer stack (these are under compression).
This mechanism or load transfer doesn't really change when u put the Winow extensions, or some other extensions instead of the ski poles. Most of the load is on your elbows and go through the plate either way.
If you were to change the extension and use the existing base plate. Then you are stuck with a base plate that has the interface/holes for the ski pole extensions.
What material is this base plate? Aluminium? Or steel? Depending on the material, you could grind off the fittings for the ski poles. If the plate is steel, I'm 99% certain this would be fine and still strong enough. Not so sure about aluminium.
Manufacturing a new plate would also be an option, but pretty hard. Since, like you said, it would need the same male/female interface to interact correctly with the spacer stack. And the holes for the bolts also need the right chamfer/radius on the top, so that you can use the different angle spacers for the base plate.
I would reach out to ICAN to purchase a extra base plate (part 22 on the drawings) and modify it as best as you can. But this would obviously depend on the price for this part.
Ask ICAN for a cost of an additional plate or ask them if they can modify it. The more people that ask they may listen and change the design. I have asked and they said they would not change the design. I also told them after I built the bike as part of some feedback that this is the major drawback for this bike as its very common for people to fit alternative areo bars to TT bikes.
Your bike look nice, wish that i can buy that frameset in Vietnam, Ican has agent in Asia which is Quick and Sherry refuse to sale it...
Quick sale the frameset for 16800 CNY ~ 2300 USD @@
Can you have more information on the extra baseplate? Just the same one so you can modify it? Or have they finally designed a baseplate for modern extensions? Otherwise, they offered me the same price for the frame, which is actually not bad, but then 120 for just a baseplate... to solve the problem of poor design, it's expensive.Just the same baseplate that you would have to modify yourself.
Just the same baseplate that you would have to modify yourself.Does the 120USD include shipping?
But yeah, the price for the frameset is actually really good. However, 120USD for a extra steel plate is crazy.
Chào anh,Anh có biết đơn vị nào có thể mua ở Trung Quốc và ship về Việt Nam không?
You can ask a third party to purchase it in China and ship it from China to Vietnam.
Hi, just joined this group as I'm condition an Ican TT017 timetrial frame, just wondering how those who have bought and built one are getting on? Any issues or anything to look out for?I have been riding my TT017 for around 5hrs a week since April with no issues so far.
I've had quite a few sets of wheels from China, but not a frame.
Still a bit undecided as to whether to progress, just based on safety considerations. As I've no idea how safe the frame would be.
Thanks, M.
Update to the build.
Winow bars now added. I have used a plate from an old set up along with the custom 15 degree angle adapters. The mono riser has the 10 degree angle and then the plate has 15 degree angle adapters, so 25 degrees in total.
The mono riser has an opening so the cables can easily exit this and up into the Winow bars.
Much more aero and comfortable than the stock standard. I will email ICAN again to show them what people want and see if they take it onboard.
How did you fix the FastTT to the mono post? I assume you're using the bolts and no recess/groove on the plate to make the male/female engagement (like you mentioned before on this thread). If that's the case, then it's much easier to adapt a new front end to the bike.Yes, I used new bolts that are not countersunk so no recess or groove. Because of the 10 degree angle at the top of the riser, the bolts pass through the plate at an angle so, I drilled through at a slight angle as I wanted the fixing as tight as possible. If these holes are loose and the bolts not tight enough to clamp the plate there would be some play. The bolts were M6 and the hole is 6mm so no to little clearance.
Hi Aradell and Serge_K,
thanks for your answers!
About the 1x13 setup, the only cassette currently available has 10-11-12-13-15-17-19-21-24-28-32-38-46 teeth
I was thinking of a 50t chainring with the 10-46 cassette. I of course want to run the cassette in den middle, so let's say 13-21 teeth.
At a cadence of 90/min, I would run 30.6 km/h on 50/21 and 44.8 km/h on 50/13. At the extremes, 50/46 would result in 12.6 km/h and 50/10 in 58.2 km/h.
Therefore I thought this might be a good choice. However, I have done all my triathlons on a regular 2 x 11speed road bike so far, so I have zero experience with triathlon bikes and indeed the jumps, especially form 13 to 15 might be too high. So any advice is highly appreciated!
By the way: Does anyone have a contact to ICAN? I tried to get a quote via their homepage, but no answer so far.

Some sellers sign geographic exclusivity deals. It's common with Workswell. Also, never buy from them.
Ship to a friend in France, Poland or something like that, and voila :)
Some new additions.
Storage box. This is the first design that fits but needs a better lid
For the Ican owners? How do you compare the sizing of the frame with the TT119/VB023 frameset? I have 51cm TT119. Will the Ican be a S compared to that?
edit: order placed. Convert my TT119 setup towards this one. Keep you posted here...
Where are you shipping to? I just got a quote from them for $229 to US and they said 'included customs tax". Hoping that really would cover everything and I wouldn't be hit with more once it gets here.

Still have to decided which frame I want to go with. I think I've narrowed it down to the Ican TT017 and VeloBuild TT023. These two just look the best, despite the Winow119 having the best cockpit. I think I can live with a slightly inferior cockpit (and upgrade in the future) to get the better looking stem interface and a monoriser.
I’m in the same boat, trying to decide between these two. I have it narrowed down to weight being the deciding factor, now that I have seen that the FastTT/Winow style bars can be adapted to either.
Finding frame weights is difficult, though.
@mattgolt I read that you didn’t weigh your frameset before building, but would you mind sharing the weight of your bike now that it’s fully built up?
Painting is done. Shipment is on its way. Fast processing and clear and fast communication. Untill now, no single remarks...
How many days did they quote you for delivery?
Starting the build...still waiting for my Rotor BB...;-). Winow Extensions also ordered but that can take more time to arrive so will use my current extensions.

Really having a tough time deciding between this and the Velobuild TT frame. My main concerns are the slack seatube angle, which changes with saddle position, and being able to adjust the angle on the front end. What are you planning on doing to get the right angle for the tt bars?

Can we have more details on the lightweight version? No tengo más detalles, simplemente me ha dicho que ahora es el que tiene disponible, pero me llama la atención que en la web no veo esa versión ligera, y la forma de flexar que tiene el tubo. Aunque si me lo enseña en un vídeo supongo que será normal
Does this frameset come with different riser height blocks and/ or angled spacers? Really tempted with this frame, but the possibility of a one off monoriser system gives me cause for concern. What all came in the box when it was delivered?Yes. Different height blocks come with the bike. There are 2 different angles too. I have 15 degree extensions plus the 15 degree angle on the riser
Some pictures of the bike in action at Ironman 70.3 WC Marbella.
During the race I passed the same bike but the Quick Pro TT:ONE. I cant work out what the connection is with the ICAN TT017 and Quick Pro TT:ONE is. Copy? Shared design?
I didn't see any other ICAN's, most were your usual TT bikes
Post some pictures of the build.
Did you get the new version of Winow bars?
Nice!
Do you have some close up’s of the mods you made for the aero bars?
Interested in getting a frameset, but that front end is holding me back...I’m not sure. You would need to consider the cable routing and the clearance if the frame.
Would a Vision Metron TFA Basebar be compatible on the front end? https://shop.visiontechusa.com/en/aerobars/triathlon-time-trial/metron-tfa-evo-base-bar

BackgroundLooks nice.
Hey everyone, relatively new to this forum. I fell down this rabbit hole because I wanted a TT bike, but the off-the-shelf offerings from western brands seemed to be pretty poor value (and maybe more importantly unaffordable...). Having the ability to customize the paint to my liking was also a big deciding factor for me. I was mainly between the ICAN TT-017 and the VeloBuild TT-023, but I ultimately chose the TT-017 simply because I preferred its looks. The TT-017's baseplate will be a problem to solve at a later date. This will be my first time building a bicycle (or doing any kind of work on a bicycle really) so hopefully it goes with as few hiccups as possible.

Order Process
I sent an inquiry via ICAN's website on around December 11 and Sherry replied on the 12th with a quote of $950USD for the frame and $169USD for UPS shipping to Canada. I actually used AI to create a mockup of the paint scheme I wanted along with some other sample photos of the type of metallic green I wanted:
She then provided me some paint swatches which I signed off on, and the paint customization was $85USD. I was a little nervous about how the lime green highlight on the front forks would turn out since I wanted the top line to be parallel to the ground like in the AI render I sent her. I wondered how much I should attempt to micro-manage the specifics of the paint job, but in the end I figured with the language barrier it might just cause more confusion so I simply went with the flow. I fully understood I was pursuing a budget option. On December 16 she sent me this mockup from their paint department which I signed off on and promptly sent a payment of $1261USD via PayPal (including a $57USD PayPal fee).
Sherry informed me at the time of payment that they had one Large frame in stock at their warehouse so it would only be 7 business days for paint and I would not have to wait for a frame to be produced. On January 2, Sherry sent me photos of my painted frame at their warehouse and that it would be shipped that day.
On January 7 I received the frame. I was on the hook for $64CAD (~$46USD) for duties, taxes, and brokerage fees which I didn't consider to be too unreasonable. Overall I found the ordering process from ICAN to be smooth and straightforward.
The Frame
My first impression of the frame is that it looks very nice. Again, I don't have a lot of experience with building bikes, but my road bike is a 2019 Cervélo S5 so I have some sense of what a premium carbon frame should be like (ironically some interesting design choices by Cervélo have me questioning the extent to which the S5 can be considered a premium frame). The metallic paint looks absolutely beautiful.
Now, onto the fork paint that I was a little nervous about. Essentially exactly as I'd feared, the line was not quite parallel to the ground. It's pretty easy to see that they simply used used straight masking tape along the curved surface of the fork which caused some distortion, as well as a chevron-shaped join where the masking tape overlapped at the leading edge of the fork. There was definitely a lack of attention to detail in this area as I'd feared, however again I will not nitpick too hard since I actively decided not to over-communicate my specifications. You get what you pay for. Had I made my requirements clear, I would be disappointed.
A nice detail of the fork is that it has an asymmetric front profile to shield the front brake caliper.
In terms of facings, the edges of the paint were quite thick and noticeably raised around the BB threads and the brake mounts.
I'm particularly concerned about the rear brake mounts. I don't have any experience with this so I don't know when it becomes an issue that requires facing to deal with. Not only does the paint create a raised edge that rises above the mounting surfaces, I'm also pretty sure that the mounting surfaces are not flush with each other? Did anybody here have any issues with this or know if this is cause for concern?

Build Info
I've been gathering the rest of my components over the course of the last 2 months, through a combination of classifieds and retailers. Got lucky on a few holiday sales deals too. I, like many people, am doing a SRAM 1x build for simplicity (i.e. not having to pay for a front derailleur... the aero is a bonus) as I will only be racing on flat land anyway.
This is what I have so far
Component Cost ($CAD) TT-017 Frameset (incl. duties) $1799 SRAM Red D1 rear derailleur $360 SRAM X-Sync 50T aero chainring $316 SRAM Red D1 170mm crank arms $355 SRAM S-900 HRD levers and calipers $550 (lucked out on this deal) Shimano Dura ACE RT CL-900 rotors (160mm front, 140mm rear) $120 SRAM Blips $127 SRAM eTap battery $79 SRAM eTap charger $64 SRAM Force flat top chain $66 SRAM DUB T47 68mm BB $88 Total $4195CAD (~$3000USD)
The wheelsets are obviously still outstanding, as well cassette, tires, saddle, etc. I'll probably be getting a deep front wheel and disc wheel off of Aliexpress. I will figure out aero extensions later since it's only indoor riding here for the next few months anyways.
Overall very excited for everything to come together (hopefully).
I asked the why TT017 has disappeared for the website and this was their response "Yes ,we sell TT017 ,but as agent in Asia and Germany ,we will not post online, Just sell offline like we quoted you"
Painting is done. Shipment is on its way. Fast processing and clear and fast communication. Untill now, no single remarks...
The paint on this bike seems pretty thick, maybe too thick. The seatpost tolerance is super super tight, to the point where the paint on the frame around the seatpost opening is chipping from the seatpost being rammed through. Also did anyone cut their seatpost down? The seatpost seems pretty long, I was intending to cut it down after I assembled it but never got round to it.

There were no issues getting the seatpost in on the frame I had.
Did you have any issues mounting your brakes?
Keep us updated on the build.
Did you contact Quikpro direct? I wonder if Pandapodium would be able to help with the bars.
Im looking at making a custom plate from a local machinist so that I can have more adjustment and extend the bars out further. Once I have done this I will share the info.

Here we go, pre-order is available for "April". $600USD without base bar, $800USD with base bar. I wish there was a bit more info like weight or even what it's made of lol, but it looks nice. I'm strongly considering.
Adjustable? That bolt on the bottom of the extension looks to be on a seam. Maybe that can be loosened and the grip can be extended.
No more spindle lengths for use in 68mm or 73mm wide BB shells with internal bearings...For frames with a BB shell width less than 86mm, you will most likely need to use a DUB™-compatible BB with external bearings.
my TT017 frame turned up a few days ago and i've run into a problem. i'm using a Rock Bros DUB carbon crankset with a standard road spindle, and a Kactus T47 DUB BB. The spindle on the crank sticks out way too far, too far to compensate with spacers. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong? I did some digging around and this is the shortest spindle in the DUB standard. According to Wheels MFG:
So since the TT017 has a 68mm wide BB, does that mean i have to get a T47 BB with external bearings?
As per above post I managed to source the correct BB and now have completely built up my TT017 and given a few good test rides. Specs are as follows:
• Size large TT017
• Groupset: Ltwoo ERX TT
• Brake calipers: Wheeltop (supplied Ltwoo were problematic – see below)
• Rotors: dura ace (160/140mm F/R)
• Saddle: Adamo copy
• Chain: 12 speed dura ace (waxed)
• Cassette: Sunshine 12 speed 11-34
• Front chainring: 56t narrow wide
• Power meter: Xcadey
• Pedals: dura ace SPD-SL
• Cranks: Rocks bros DUB 165mm
• BB: Senicx T47 DUB ceramic external bearings
• Rear wheel: Elite Velo disc (TPU tube)
• Front wheel: Cannondale Hollowgram Knot 64 (tubeless)
• Tires: Continental GP5000 S-TR (25/30c F/R).
• Weight: 9.3kg.
Observations/notes
• Fittings like bottle cage bolt and front mech hanger are branded Quickpro. Am guessing ICAN manufacture the TT One for Quickpro using a higher modulus carbon.
• Since it came from the same factory, I purchased Quickpro decals just so I can flex on this bike with my friends. Much like Cannondale hi-mod frames, in my mind this is just a lower modulus TT One.
• Paint quality was great, can’t see any imperfections with my eyes.
• Ltwoo battery could not fit in seatpost or downtube, so I wrapped it in thin foam and wedged it down seat tube – it doesn’t rattle but will be fun to get out.
• Cutting steerer tube to correct length was tricky. I erred on the side of caution and ended up cutting it one or two milometers too long (only realised after routing cables through). As a result it now pushes the plastic cover up so that its not flush with top tube (not a big deal). Think someone else in thread also mentioned this but would advise anyone ordering this frame to ask ICAN to cut it to correct length.
• BB installation was problematic. I have a T47 16 notch 52mm tool however with the external bearings it was too shallow to fit over the bearings and reach the BB notches. Had to take to LBS who charged me $AUD65 for a 5 minutes job :o. Have now ordered correct tool off aliexpress for like $10.
• It is heavy at 9.3kg but am not planning to do any hilly TTs. If I take out disc rear (that weighs 1200 grams) and use spoked carbon rear wheel I can get weight down significantly.
• First time using Ltwoo electronic and am quite impressed. Bit of a learning curve to set up but the app (and shift indexing) is way easier to use than Wheeltop. I have noted elsewhere on Chinertown water ingress issues so I will put heat shrink over rear mech connector. Shifting speed is great, probably not as fast or accurate as 12 speed Di2, maybe down the line I will put a Ultegra 11-34 cassette on it and that will make shifting even better.
• Ltwoo brake caliper with 160mm adaptor would not fit in front fork recessed brake mount. Replaced with spare wheeltop caliper.
• Rear Ltwoo brake caliper had a sticky piston out of the box. First thought it was uneven brake mounting surface, but just replaced with the other spare wheeltop caliper. No brake rub at all now.
• Bleeding brakes is really easy on TT brake levers without having to stretch rubber hoods out of the way.
• Since I’m not running front mech, to charge the battery I will have to unplug rear mech, plug in front mech and then plug that into USB-C charger. No big deal.
• Haven’t added up total cost, but without wheels/tires/rotors am guessing this cost me less than $AUD4000, which is a bargain considering a Giant TT frameset alone is around $6000.
• Will add a front chainring guide soon for peace of mind.
I’ve done three decent rides on it and am slowly dialling in my fit. I sit in UCI height category 2 (180-189cm) so have set up extension reach to comply. Am now looking at the Winow ARB02 extensions (which I’ve been told by Winow will fit to the existing adaptor plate). Am still figuring out which size to order so that they don’t exceed my category limit (830mm from centre of BB to tip of extension). If anyone has any experience with this and knows what size ARB02 I should get please let me know.
Note picture shows 140mm SRAM rotors F/R before I changed to DA, chain has been cut (was initially too long), and front mech cable sticking out has been removed.
Is that white icebreak fading into grey icebreak?yes

Hi Ssseebbb,
How's your build going? Did you end up getting the Quickpro TR:One Cockpit? How does it fit? Does the option without the base bar comes with everything (ie base plate and BTA bracket for hydration mount etc..)
I just ordered the frameset and I am considering this cockpit as well.
Would appreciate an update from your build.
Thanks.
Nice setup. I've ordered the same color as well. The TR:ONE COCKPIT is available to buy separately now. Just wanted to confirm that it will fit the ICAN TT017 before purchasing.
Where did you find that base plate on AliX? What new plate are you getting? Any chance of linking the item?
Cheers
I can't find the TT 017 for sale anywhere - anyone know why?ICAN don't list it on their website - message them directly (email or whatsapp) and they will confirm if it is available. I ordered it in Feb this year. I believe they manufacture it for Quickpro.

It is available - I messaged. I'm going to order it with some custom paint 😍
Do they have the SL version available or is it the ~1400g standard version only?
Did I understand this correctly, that the frame tt017 is not shipped to Germany? I sent an email to 'ICAN' today but haven't received a reply yet. That's why I wanted to double-check here, and maybe there's someone who has already had some experience with this?
Just send them a mail. I asked for the TT017 and shipping to germany and received a quote within a day.
How much did you end up paying for everything?
Hello, I am new to the forum and interested in this frame as I really like a mono riser and it's the only one I can find in size 58.
Can I get some help with 2 questions:
1. Are there any other options that are mono riser and size 58 that I should consider?
2. I have read through this thread and it appears the winow cockpit does not fit without adaptations?? I am moderately handy with bikes (I can build my own). Are the adjustments required to get the winow extensions on something a home mechanic can do?
Thank you
Any updates on the complete build? Would love to order one
i can't speak to your first question, but for question 2, the winow arb02 is a direct fit onto the supplied adaptor plate. Its not entirely clean or pretty (the circular carbon extension mounts poke out a bit, unless you want to cut them off). i purchased this adaptor plate and drilled out the hole spacing so it would match the mono riser bolt spacing for a slightly cleaner look.
What is the bolt spacing on the Ican monoriser?its 30mm centre to centre
I am about to order one, but looking for options to change the frontend of the bikes directly.
Mines still in China should be here in the next few weeks. Hopefully I'll just catch the end of the TT season. I'll share on here once built up , weights etc
I thought I would post my bike build for this bike to share my experience and views on this bike and my build. Im in the progress of assembling the bike and will post ongoing updates.
The bike is the new TT model from ICAN. I went for this frame mainly because of the front end with integrated handle bars and mono riser. The reviews I found on ICAN seemed to indicate they were some of the better manufacturers from China.

I also ordered a disc wheel and 80mm dish front from ICAN

Communicating with ICAN was a bit of a challenge because of the language barrier. Using short to the point questions and few per email seemed to work than multiple long questions.
I chose a gloss black frame and matt finish for the wheels. ICAN sent me a proforma invoice with gloss for the frame and wheels and I asked them to change the wheels back to matt finish and update the order. They made an error and supplied gloss wheels from the original proforma invoice. The wheels look OK in gloss, maybe better
The groupset I'm using will be Shimano Ultegra. I wasn't convinced on the Chinese brands and Shimano is what I know and is easily available locally for me. I also had a Shimano crank to use.

Negatives
The ski poles/aero bars are connected to the plate on top of the rise. I don't want these and the only way to use the top plate and mount aero bars like the Winow bars would be to cut them off. The top plate interfaces with the riser or angle piece, so to retro fit one you would need to router or machine it to fit.
There was a minor scuff on the fork. This can be polished out but I let ICAN know when I asked for the torque settings. They immediately sent me a picture of the fork prior to packing which didn't show the scuff and said they would not replace it, even though I didn't ask them to as it was minor. The bike and wheels were really well packed so I don't know where the mark came from. My advise is to film yourself opening the boxes and inspecting the goods as it would be hard to prove if there was damage.
Positives
Carbon looks good. I'm no expert but to me it looks well made
Pricing was good compared to others. If you are in the US it may not be with Trumps new tariffs
Frame design was good for me. It also accepts 32mm wide tyres
The option of custom paint is appealing. I wish I went for the cracked ice paint although the black does look good. Not sure how much extra the custom paint is.
Summary
I'm happy with the purchase so far. You need to accept that after sales service is going to be difficult or non existent, unlike major brand. I'm guessing this will be for most China bikes. Parts may be an issue to get hold of in the future.
I will post more as I get into the build
Edit: Pricing fixed to match correct costs. I originally asked for pricing on the TT016 and TT017 and was planning on buying more from ICAN. The nice lady Sherry at ICAN gave me a discount of USD900 per frame as I have previously bought from ICAN. Sherry reluctantly stood by this after I only purchased one frame.
