Title: Mondince FM336
Post by: Zrader on March 08, 2026, 10:01:30 PM
Hey guys, just purchased the new FM336. Went through Jack on WhatsApp for the whole process. Very responsive and helpful. I was able to get a very similar set up to my current road bike, which I was very happy about.

Has anyone gotten this frame yet? If not, I’m happy to be the guinea pig. 😂

I have been in contact with Jack as well.  Trying to decide between the 336 and 326.  Going to place my order this month.

Let me know how it rides.  My build will be 13spd 1x, all-road/gravel.  Not really planning on doing any rough single track, mostly just rough tarmac, gravel and dirt roads.

Saw this one also, better geometry than the GV201 amongst others. Would have liked a little bit steeper seat tube angle, any maybe a touch more stack. Otherwise it looks great geometry-wise. But i have to say i dont like the look of the frame that much though, i dont know why really - except the seat post/seat tube top looks strange.

I just ordered the frame last week.
Was trying to decide between 326 S and 336 M, but in the end, i just like the look of 336 better. I also ordered a stem and handlebar, both carbon with integrated routing. Jack also offered, they will paint both stem and handlebar in the frame color, so i am really curios to see how it works out. I ordered to EU, payment was a SEPA transfer to german bank account.

Cool, did they send you a picture of the bar and stem? I may ask to throw that in. Spacers included?

Awesome! I liked both, but ended up going with the 336 for its geometry. It was very similar to my current road bike.

only the drawings, but that was enough for me. For a proper fit i needed a shorter stem (80-70mm) so integrated handlebars were out of question, as they did not offer one with such short stem. I hope we understood each other and they will send compatible headset/spacers  :D

I asked for pictures and he sent me this website: https://rinosbike.com/products/sandman-4

Apparently this company uses their handlebars. Looks to be true. Some of the pictures of the bikes aren’t great. One of the saddles is tilted haha.

He also said that they make bikes for several big brands. I was shocked when he mentioned the names.

ETA: Oh nevermind, they only use their one piece system. What color did you get?

You guys pulled the trigger  without even seeing a picture of a full bike or we can see it somewhere ?

Lets us updated !

Hey Zrader! I am choosing between fm 326 and fm336 right now... can you share what was your final price?
and that made me curious "He also said that they make bikes for several big brands. I was shocked when he mentioned the names." - can you name them? It'd be good feeling to know that some big brands have trust in them when I struggle to order from China :)

Cheers!

Hey! Final price was $718 USD that was including PayPal fees, shipping ($150 to the US).

They make bikes for Argon18, State Bicycle Company, KHS, Megamo, and Cube. There are several others but lesser known and I don’t recognize their names.

I mean these factories make bikes for a bunch of different brands. For example, the Giant factory makes bikes for Trek, Specialized, Scott, Colnago, and Pinarello.

They also have quality control in house, though I don’t know how that process works for Argon, State, KHS, Megamo, and Cube. Perhaps they have their own?

I decided to go for Pantone 495C - light pink, in gloss with pearl.
Pretty nervous about the final look, as i sadly do not have Pantone sample book, and cross comparison with NCS was really painful.

They did not have photos of finished frame, only told me it´s like cube nuroad.

I wanted to order lightcarbon LCR-18D for an all road bike to complement my race road bike and gravel bike, but now I'm considering this one. No problem with running 35 slicks and gives option for something bigger if needed. Thought choices

Can you get it without rivets on the fork?
I'm as well between the 336 amd LRC018 as a allroad do it all bike.
Pros and cons?

I like the looks and the geometry of the fm336 more. Longer reach (paired with steep ST) and longer front center, together with with lower BB is more of a progressive geometry and allows you to easily go more to the front  into aero positon, all while being stable.

Looks great, interested to see real kife photos of frame and tire clearance. Also couldnt figure out from the pics so far if there is a fender mount bolt hole behind the BB (all other dlfender mounts seem to be there). Looking forward hearing some feedback of the people who ordere it already.

Yeah, I’m getting mine without rivets on the fork. LRC-018 only had 38mm tire clearance. The FM336 had 50mm

What kind of roads are you riding when going off road? If it’s champagne gravel or hard compact dirt, then the light carbon bike might be fine, but limiting yourself to 38mm won’t be very much fun if you plan on riding anything else.

FM336 is an interesting fame.
Is there anyone around who could upload pictures of his/her build?
Anyone here sharing his/her price including shipping to EU?
Thank you.

Found the complete bike on insta site of LocaBikes. Seems to be the new model of Libre. On the homepage it is still the older framemodel.
But that seems to be the only photo in the net so far of that frame.
I am also think about order a frame to Germany.

I thought the same. The photos of the solo framset are not very good. After I saw that photo from LocaBikes I’m into it to order that frame.

I found a video from the Velodays event, where they show the bike. They don´t show much, but it´s at least something.

Good material and nice event.
Many local Polish brands, from custom steel and carbon bikes to lightweight bikepacking equipment.

Frame looks really good. Makes me convinced on pulling the trigger

2.1 TBs actually measure right at 51mm on 25mm rims so any frame with 50mm clearance shouldn't be a problem

On 32mm IW wheels, so probably more like 54mm width 😎
Still would perfer a bit more stack than this frame though.

Hi Acador
Would you like to share (here or by PM tomme) what you paid including shipping and tax handling?

I paid 670€ total. 540 was frame + stem + handlebars and 130 shipping with tax included.

One thing to say, last week Jack wrote to me, that there´s some problem with incorrect crown sizing on the fork and asked, if I am okay with swapping the fork for the FM316 395AC fork with the flip chip. Which i was okay with as it´s not really changing things in the geo for me.

Stem and bars instead of a seatpost? And is it a plain frame or does it have some colour?

Sorry for confusion. The frameset comes with seatpost (they offer both 0 and 15mm offset), headset and thru-axles. Also I got it painted in one color with pearl added to it. They will also paint the stem and handlebars to match the frame.

Here finally about to make the order.

Finally UD Matt finishing, fork, seatpost, axles, headset in Size L
Cost summary:
475$, Shipping $150. Total of $625 = 490 CHF + customs (I calculate 40 CHF on top).

I forgot to ask you about the handlebar, since I was not sure about it, has anyone pictures of that one they offer?

But they are so helpful and do everything I want in terms of design.
I need to make a decision before summer is over!  8)

Waiting for your build. Mondice was a pleasure to work with when I was making my order, paint options etc. they also acted very nicely after my accident and stopped the production process and refunded me money, because I won't be able to ride bikes for a long time now, if ever again.

Hope you guys enjoy your frames and waitng for them builds

I’ll take pictures of the clearance when the time comes. I’m almost certain it’ll clear thunderburts in dry conditions. May need a smaller back up pair for the mud.

Title: Re: Mondince FM336

SRAM Rival XPLR 13spd, Tagaloo XPLR wide wheels.  All-road, gravel with relaxed geo for riding rough UK roads and some dirt trails.

I already have a purpose built fast bike.  Wanted an excuse to try 13spd and wanted build something that I can ride in wet, muddy weather, year round.  Will probably pull double duty as commuter bike too.

The FM336 looks better but… it would almost be the exact same geo as my dedicated road bike.  My lower lumbar is herniated so, switching to a more endurance style frame should give me some relief.

Hi everyone,

I'm also considering this frame. I'm in contact with Mondince. My setup involves changing the fork to the FM316 with a 50/45 offset. I currently ride a Carbonda 696 and like bikes with a more agile feel :)

BDW, if you'd like to see a complete bike with this frame, LOCA has posted photos on their website. Sorry for my English; it's not perfect :D

I think that FM336 hase too roadish geometry and there may be problem with significant toe overlap if you have larger feet, use modern rearward cleat position and run 45-50mm tires.
FM316/326 are much longer.

i am 175cm with 42 size foot and use 165mm cranks
my main bike is seaboard gr02, in size 50, and with 40mm real width tyres i can comfortably go on singletracks, but there is a small toe overlap, i tried 50mm and it was a problem
with bikeinsights, when i compare the seaboard with size M fm336, there´s 35mm more distance to the wheel with same size tyres (40mm)

It has great progressive geometry, that helps go long and low. No risk of toe overlap with a nice long front center.

I was texting Jack and he said my frame is the fifth one he's ordered. I posted about this in another thread. From my comparisons, it's a 1:1 Trek Checkmate SLR; the differences are cosmetic in geometry. The 336 fork has a 5mm larger offset.

So, the 336 is more roady and has a longer front? I think I have spent too long looking at geometry
charts comparing various frames to my Vielo V+1 race. I need a lower more roady frame and this may be it, or the xcms.

Well… I pulled the trigger 😄

Couldn’t resist anymore and just ordered a Mondice FM336 frameset (size S) with a custom paint job.
Going for a chameleon finish (No.10) with a smooth gradient into black pearl – all in glossy. Really curious how the final result will turn out!
Total came to 668€ shipped to Germany (DDP), including frame, fork, seatpost, headset and paint.

Now the waiting game begins… lead time is about 12 days. I’ll update once I get photos and, of course, when it arrives 👀

Anyone here already riding the FM336 or experience with Mondice paint quality?

It's a nice color, and I was also thinking about using it in a paint job. Ultimately, I decided it would be more suited to the road, so the design below won. Playing with AI to paint a frame is fun.

I see that prices are quoted at discretion. My current price is €670 including shipping to Poland. This includes the frame and integrated handlebar.

I have a other Mondince frame on order.. and i only had option to choose Pantone colors from Pantone chart.. was it now possible to order Cameleon and Metallic colors?!? Can you possibly post the color chart here if so...

I almost pulled the trigger on this frame - but i'm sceptic about tire clearance. 54mm clearance is a must for me, and i dont think it will be possible to squeeze that size in (with ok clearance on sides) since loca only say their frame clears 47mm (even of that is with ~8-10mm clearance around, 54mm tires with knobs will be too tight.

I bought no frame yet, since the only Chinese ones that seems to fit these tire widths are not what im looking for.. like the GR201 with its ultra low stack.. I want a frame that have geometry more kind of like this one (possibly a bit shorter reach on the Medium) but takes 54mm tires (thunder burt 2.1" on 32mm IW wheels measure ~54mm). Also not looking for a frame with too slack headtube angle, i want more reactive steering - this frame is quite good there.
I'm hoping that later this year more frames with bigger clearance will show up!

4mm on each side between tire and frame or fork is in accordance with ISO 4210-2:4.10.2 standart.
And yes, it looks like quite a few frames with more tire clearance than 50mm will come to the market this year.
So also I was thinking about waiting what's coming, but have ordered this FM336, as I like the geometry.

any insight about this?

I’d lean towards size M (490), especially if he prefers a more responsive, sporty feel.

These bikes tend to run a bit long, and size L (520) can feel quite stretched unless he has a longer torso or specifically wants a more stable, relaxed position.

If he’s between sizes:
   •   M → more agile, more “in the bike” feeling
   •   L → more stable, but less lively

It’s also easier to make a slightly smaller frame work (e.g. with a longer stem or more spacers) than the other way around.

Also important to consider his saddle height:
If he has a relatively low saddle height, the smaller size usually works better because you stay more centered over the bike.

If he prefers a racier, road-like position → definitely go with M 👍

If we looking for reach to stack fm316 is more race 1.4. FM 336 have 1,46.
All for size L.

FM 336 have geometre TREK Checkmate SLR it's more classic, FM 316 is progressive geometry more like XC and need short stem.

where do you guys see handlebars?

There is some handlebar discussion on the first page of this thread but the impression I get is that Mondince doesn't place much emphasis on handlebars at this time. My assumption is that this frame follows the non-proprietary 56mm headset standard and you can source an integrated handlebar (or stem) from any vendor just as long as they provide a 56mm bearing cover (Lexon, Ullicyc, RXL SL on AliExpress for example).

Very unlikely. Manufacturer says you better run max. 47mm.

That’s exactly what he told me today. He said the clearance for a 50 mm tire is 4 mm on each side.
I didn’t even ask about it he reached out to me today to ask if that would be a problem for me and whether it would be better to use tires no wider than 47 mm.
He also sent me two photos.

He sent the same thing to me. I’m glad he did though. I do some rough gravel roads/trails. CX MTB and category 3/4 gravel. Really wanted to clear 2.1. Switched over to the 296 which is actually closer in geo to my road bike than the 336.

I'm stay with the FM336. I have 48mm rear and 52mm front tires. My frame will have  FM316 fork, which will further increase its aggressiveness and bring the handling closer to the Trek Checkmate SLR. The only difference will be a mere 1mm fork offset (49 vs. 50), but it still has the option of an additional 45mm offset.

Hello,

Those pictures of the purple FM336 are actually mine haha. I was the second customer of this frame and I told Jack about this. They had 50mm tire clearance announced in their website which was false. Maximum is 47mm. Loca bikes (a bike brand from Poland that bought 500 frames) announces in their website 47mm tire clearance, that's how I noticed something was wrong with my rear tire clearance. 50mm at the front is okay. Definitely doesn't fit a ThunderBurt 2.1.

Best regards,

I understand your concern, but based on the geometry I think size S (52) fits me better.
The jump to size M (54) adds around 20,5mm of stack, which is quite significant. I’m currently riding a LightCarbon LCR018-D in size 52 with only 5mm of spacers and it fits me well.
My saddle height is 69cm, so I don’t need the extra stack. Also, the top tube on size M is noticeably longer, which would make the position too stretched for my preference.
With a 100mm stem, the S keeps the position more balanced and avoids being too stretched or too high in the front.
So for my setup, S makes more sense.

I did a 10km ride just to test ride it and on pavement because I am waiting for my 45mm tire to arrive. It felt very good. Planted and solid. I come from a Bianchi Zolder Pro (cyclo-cross bike) and it's completely different. The other one was twitchy and had a very reactive ride. This is the opposite. Longer, lower, predictable and more comfortable. Still finding my preferred stack height so I can cut the steering tube again.

Don't look at stem spacers. I am figuring out the fit, I know they look ugly...  :'(

I appreciate you reaching out to him and voicing your concerns. I switched to the FM296 as a result. Fitting larger tires is big for me because of the type of riding I do. I’m a bit disappointed because the frame is beautiful. Has anyone asked him if they plan on doing a frame with larger clearance?

I have. He said they're looking into releasing a frame with space for 57mm tires. Although this is just a plan. He was talking a
about something like three months. I asked what it would be based on but then he said it's just a plan for now. So I just just went with the fm336 still.

Yea, it's a bit dissapointing because I bought the frame with that clearance in mind. He offered me a new frame with discount or refund 100 euro due to the false data. He told me that returning the frame is so expensive it is not even considered.

How did the build went? Was everything okay? Were the brake mounts and bb faced? How does the storage space look like? Is it separate space or just a hole in downtube?

Would the FRONT fit 2.1s?

50mm G-ONE RS, don't think a 2.1 fits safely.

The build went really smooth. I didn't have any problems at all. All went fine. Rear brake mount supports a 160mm rotor natively. I had to remove the adapter that came already attached to the caliper. It was my first time building a bike.

The frame storage is a hole in the frame and the storage door comes with fidlock magnetic system. Pretty good. The bag that comes included is soft and dampens vibrations well. Cable rooting is good as well. There are cable guides inside the frame and they hold the cables well (I only have one - the rear brake)

All the problems I faced came from the person between the tools and the bike (me 😂).

It actually got delayed. They told me that it would be sent out at the beginning of March, but due to the fork manufacturing mistakes, it was delayed 2 weeks. I ordered it at the beginning of February, which was bad timing due to Chinese New Year celebration. I assume it wouldn't take much time nowadays.

Yes, it's the Lexon Uno Gravel handlebar. 380mm at the hoods and 480mm at the drops - 80mm stem. I was a bit skeptical about such difference of width but honestly I like it. I makes me feel very safe going downhill. I have not tried multiple handlebars so I cannot tell you they are my favourite, but I like them so far to be honest.

50mm G-ONE RS, don't think a 2.1 fits safely.

Did you measure the tires real width on those rims? Those 50 RS should be like 52mm od wide rims. Since thunder burts are undersized they also measure around 52mm when installed on narrower rims 25mm internal. But yeah it's a bummer it's not real 50mm that would clear Burts on narrow rims.

Can confirm that they measure around 52mm (Vittoria airliner gravel + 30 internal width wheel). Maybe if my wheels were 25mm internal width they would fit with a bit more of room but I think it wouldnt make much difference. Tire clearance is still very tight for a 50mm. Other than that bike is great. I am enjoying it more and more every ride I do.

I am 180cm with 83 inseam. And I suggested to order also in M. But as I saw the mount of spacer in the front I maybe would better take the L frame and only 80mm stem. What are you guys thinking about my concerns?

That amount of spacers were there because it was the first time I cut the fork. I wanted to make sure I could install all of them if needed. I will cut it again and lower the front end. I think an L for you would be better. The size of this frame is very similar to western brands.

Received my FM286 today.  Took about 3 weeks to arrive to the UK.  Initial inspection, it looks pretty damn amazing for the price.  Box was intact and frame was padded well.  Paint looks great, kinda wish I did something a little more exciting but still very pleased.  All the brake mounts appear to be properly faced.

If all goes well, I may have it built up and on the road this weekend.

I am running dub wide. 2.5mm spacer outer left side - 5.5mm spacer outer right side (drive side). I got dub wide because there were barely stock of sram rival xplr or force xplr.

I fitted that bottom bracket with SRAM DUB (non-wide) Force AXS set and ROAD spacer on the right side. It resulted in crank arms having a 5mm difference between arm and seattube/bottom tube. I fitted MTB spacer on the right side (nothing on the left and no ROAD spacer as well) and it's almost centered.

Just for your info, Jack has offered me to pay through SEPA instead of SWIFT. I can save some dollars there (around 40$). Any experience with that?

My plan is to mount thefollowing for the groupset:

SRAM bottom bracket DUB T47, 85.5mm (Herstellenummer: 00.6418.033.000)
SRAM Force XPLR AXS E1 13-fach Schaltwerk 10-46T RD-FRC-1E-D2 (Herstellenummer: 00.7518.193.000)
Sram Force Kurbelarm E1 DUB 165mm (Herstellenummer: 00.6118.746.001)
SRAM XG‑1371 Cassette 13-speed 10-46 (Herstellenummer: 00.2418.160.000)

Do you guys see any objection not to mount the 1x13 from SRAM? I am not sure actually if i will have to rder the WIDE version of the same BB or not

I payed for my frame to a German bank account Mondince has, no problem with that. A few days after I made the money order Jack informed me about the limited tire clearance and offered a few solutions, one was he refunds me the purchase price. So far, IMHO, Mondince seems to be a very trustworthy company. Frame is on it's way.

Quick update on my FM336 order:

Unfortunately, they painted the wrong size frame, size L instead of the S I ordered 😅
To be fair, they noticed it themselves before shipping and informed me right away, so no wrong frame is being sent out.
They apologized and will now redo it in size S. They said it will take about 4 more days.

A bit annoying, but I’d rather wait than end up with the wrong size. At least they were honest and checked before shipping.

Back to waiting… 😄

I finally pulled the trigger and placed the order today to Jack. Payment to DE account, therefore no paymenet fee.
Now leadtime of 12 calendar days + shipping.
I will go for a UD Matt finished with clear coating, simple.

I made a decision not to buy their own handlebar since for me I would need a shorter stem: around 80-90mm.
Does someone has experience with the junction part to frame? Which spacers/system you have used?

Thanks!

Maybe a weird idea, but you could try some wire that is used for cutting windshields and use it like a "saw" to open up the hole.

I had the same issue when building my XMCS CS-01.  I used needle files or jeweler’s file to probe for the obstruction.  Once I located it, I was able to clear a path by very lightly running a drill through the exit hole.  When I say, “drill”  I mean use surgical precision, slow, steady and probably no more than a 1 full rotation of the drill bit and the path was cleared.

Bottom line, there is a piece of carbon blocking or catching on the brake hose as it moves through.
Title: Re: Mondince FM336

I had to buy a round file for saw chain. Masked with lots of tape and some plastic so I didn't damage the frame. It wasn't an easy job and I was constantly afraid of damaging the hole where the cable goes in.
But after half an hour of filing I finally got the cable through.

If they are doing this stuff, It's their own fault that they lose credibility and it's honestly deserved. It's not my job to tell them to be ethical. It should be a basic value of a company.

I agree, I would reach out to them and ask where the disconnect is. Worst case scenario, they are fibbing some reviews. Best case scenario, someone actually wrote the review and they decided to just put a picture in it perhaps it’s just one person.

I have had a very pleasant experience with them thus far. They have been very transparent and communicative. More so than some of the other Chinese carbon manufacturers that I have spoken to/purchased from in the past. For this reason, I will be sticking with them for further purchases. That being said, this should be a one and done type of situation. Hopefully they fix the issue if it’s something clerical/honest mistake or realize it isn’t appropriate if it was purposeful.

Either way, they still make frames for big brands and those frames are quality products with great reviews. This definitely speaks to the quality of Mondince as a manufacturer.

Are you going to reach out to them Igital96? If not, I will. If it’s one person at the company, they should address it and fix the issue. I find it hard to believe the entire company has a directive for false 5 star reviews. If that were the case, there would be many many more I feel like.

I was going to send Jack a pic once I had everything finalized and enough miles in to provide some

Kinda bummed if they are making reviews up.  Communication with Jack as very good
from a buyer’s perspective.

unfortunately it will not the be the first and the the last manufacturer to make up reviews. In any case, I find it more sever that they use your content without permission, whatever the usage is t the end.
I am saying that and I am waiting the leadtime to get the frame here, I believe it is something in their culture, that they know they have the know how and they do not give a shit how to sell if they finally make it, which I also respect.

Yes. I will send an email in hope that another person from the company reads it. I find it very disappointing. And also, it's completely unnecessary. They do frames for brands like Megamo, Finna, State or others. Why would they need to do that in the first place?

For the crankset I am going with sram red.

Should I go sram red classic or sram red wide?

I rather have the thinnest q factor but so the frame fit the classic?

Hello guys I am ordering the frame.
And all the pieces for my build.

For the crankset I am going with sram red.

Should I go sram red classic or sram red wide?

I rather have the thinnest q factor but so the frame fit the classic?

Thanks

You can do both to be honest. Should not be a problem afaik. I ran the dub wide because there was only stock available with this interface. The SRAM Rival and Force are selling like candy. Crazy!

Since I am getting the frameset soon, I am still planning which tyres to mount.

Here below my options:
Continental Terra Hardpack 50-622
Continental Terra Competition Race Rapid TR 45-622
Hutchinson Caracal Race 45-622
Vittoria Terreno Hardpack 45-622 or Vittoria Terreno Dry 47-622

For the wheelset I am planning:
Rim Inner Width: 30mm
Rim outer Width: 36mm
Rim depth: 45mm

So whatever I would mount it will over at around 47-48mm the minimum.
Any experience or recommendation to that?

I contacted Mondince. They know about the problem with threading the brake hose. The problem was due to too much glue.

Caracal race 45mm is actually ~47mm on 24-25mm IW rims... on my 32mm IW rims they measure slightly above 50mm... so on IW 30mm wheels they will probably measure just below 50mm.

Thanks for the feedback.
Then based on that it is much better that I go for a 45mm to reach 48/49mm, than to go for 47mm and overpass 50mm that can become an issue due to tyre clearance.

In my FM336 I have 50mm front / 45 mm rear (G-ONE RS). I have 30mm IW wheels. The 45mm measures 47-48mm and the 50mm around 52.

so that means you are running a 52mm real width tyre in FM336? Is it not to tight?

Alright I will step in this Thread now. :)

I am also very interested in this frame and have E-Mail contact to Jack asking some questions etc.

One major Issue is the Size which I have to decide.

My current bike is a Stevens Gavere in Size 58 (choose 2022 Model in bikeinsights for correct geo). Its a very relaxed, comfortable pure adventure gravel bike. BUT I mostly ride in the city, asphalt roads, bike roads, sometimes light gravel but rarely really hard single trails. I enjoy speeding, doing kilometers after work to relax myself. But I also enjoy riding wood trails with some roots, stones etc. My riding profile is more like 70% asphalt/bike roads, 20% light gravel, 10% single trails/hard gravel tracks.

I am 185cm tall, 93-95kg bodyweight. Did a lot of extra measurements. Inseam is about 88-90cm; Torso-Length 64cm, Arm-span 182,5cm (yes negative Ape Index lol).
So I am basically tall with long legs, but not so long arms and "normal" torso. This is where it gets complicated. Jack says: Choose L. AI says choose XL because XL has only 5mm more Reach than L but it got 24mm more stack. This reduces the risk, that I have to work with of spacers, high stem or weird cockpit compensatiion later.

My current setup would be:
- Elitewheels 700C 38mm depth 32,5mm outer width carbon wheelset (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005004574763198.html)
- schwalbe G-One RS Performance tires in 45mm
- Mondince FM336 Frameset
- 6° 90mm Stem carbon (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005006017540894.html)
- RXL SL Handlebar (78mm Reach, 110mm Drop; 15° Flare; lower width 458mm, upper width 380mm (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005003691497580.html)
- Shimano Center Lock Discs RT-CL800 160mm (yes I need an adapter. Jack confirmed that adapter will work )
- Ryet Saddle (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005005209973776.html)
- 300mm carbon seatpost
- other parts like, cranks, groupset are not yet ordered

Thats a lot of information I know. I am just looking for the beste compromise frame for my body and my riding style

Any input on my information? looking forward to your replies

I will go for L also, more seatpost out = more flex and confort, you can have some spacer and as you get more fit and more flexible you will slam the stem and be faaast and sexy

Looking at BikeInsights, the Mondince XL frame is slightly smaller than the Gavere one while the L frame is substantially smaller than the Gavere. If the Gavere works well for you, I'd go with size XL for the Mondince.

https://bikeinsights.com/compare?geometries=622f5a0e4fad47001d40c191,69be1e96e0c59c001b08ac87

I am not sure how to interpret the 'BUT' in your post - are you hoping to adopt a more aggressive riding position?

One small observation: a 300mm seatpost may not be long enough (also, Mondince's website says that a seatpost (of unspecified length) is included with the frame).

The Gavere in general works for me, yes. When I see the bikeinsights diagram I just think "is even the XL too small for me?" But maybe this is caused by lack of experience because the Gavere is my first gravel bike. I even have to say its my first bike where I spent more money. In the past Ive ridden cheap, used vintage peugeot bikes. But these bikes were just for being mobile and not for doing ride-outs and doing sport. Now I enjoy doing sport on my bike, doing ride-outs. Its more than just being mobile in the city and around.

The "BUT" was related to my actual riding style and what the gavere was designed for. I think its not a perfect fit (anymore). I am definitely not a frequent bikepacker and adventure graveler. Yes, I do bikepacking and adventure graveling but rarely. Long story short. I dont want to lose the ability to do graveling but I want a bit sportier more for street/asphalt/road designed frame.

seatpost: yes you are right. But thats not a big deal. I can use the seatpost for my girls bike. My current seatpost on the Gavere is 350mm long, and most of it is buried in the frame. But that’s just because the frame itself is larger—when I bought that seatpost, the FM336 wasn't even on my radar yet. Thats why i chose 300mm.

Question to everybody who has build up an FM336 already:
Does the headset Mondince provides works fine?
There's so many threads on frames where the headset seems to be a typical problem.
Waiting that m frame gets cleared by European custom.
White pearl glossy in size S.
But need to know if I should get another headset.

The Gavere in general works for me, yes. When I see the bikeinsights diagram I just think "is even the XL too small for me?"

Yeah, these diagrams are pretty abstract, I guess it's one of the disadvantages of trying to order something from halfway across the world. To put some more context around this, here's... another diagram, this one from xenograft's bike fitting tool. What it shows is where your handlebars would be if you used the same stem on both bikes; the red solid line is your Stevens, the blue dashed line is the FM336 size XL.

I assumed some numbers (e.g. your saddle height and setback), so take the following numbers with a grain of salt.

The first thing this shows is that on the Mondince your handlebars (with everything else being equal) would sit 18.3mm lower. In other words, you'd need to add some spacers on the Mondince if you wanted to match your position on the Stevens. Which generally isn't a problem unless you have a ton of spacers on the Stevens.

I made a mistake when it comes to the reach difference; it says 19.6mm but it's actually closer to 13mm (I forgot to move your saddle back to match your Stevens). So you need to compensate with a longer stem; again, not a problem unless you are using a very long stem on the Stevens already.

And you'd want to move back your saddle by about 7mm to keep your setback from the BB consistent (check whether you have enough space on your saddle rails).

Lastly, if you wanted to move from a more relaxed gravel position to a a sportier road position, the general wisdom is to go a little lower (no problem on the Mondince, since the frame is smaller) and a little longer (more of a problem if you have a pretty long stem already).

Thank you so much for the detailed analysis @chiyou - means a lot.

I think right now I lean to size L and just adapt to it since the XL FM336 is so close to my current stevens (it has the same stack to reach ratio for example). And I got the feeling that I can tinker around a bit more in Size L. My only fear is, that my legs are too long for size L. And on the other side my arms could be too short in size XL. Idk man its hard  - maybe I am overthinking and overanalyzing way too much here..  ::)

Just some side Information (dont know if it helps for further analysis): Never really changed anything on the stevens. I had a bike fitting once but they didnt do much adjustments there. I have the adjustment data in the attachments.
The stevens had 35mm spacers under the stem - that was default. Never changed anything

Stuff I measured by myself:
- From bottom to top of handlebar I got 100,5cm
- saddle size 130mm
- source for more data: https://www.stevensbikes.de/2024/de/de/gravel/alloy/gavere/ There you find also stem size etc.

Didnt think choosing a frame could be that hard and complicated :D

only the drawings, but that was enough for me. For a proper fit i needed a shorter stem (80-70mm) so integrated handlebars were out of question, as they did not offer one with such short stem. I hope we understood each other and they will send compatible headset/spacers  :D

Are you liking the stem and bar? Is it internally routed?

My only fear is, that my legs are too long for size L. And on the other side my arms could be too short in size XL. Idk man its hard  - maybe I am overthinking and overanalyzing way too much here..  ::)

Part of what makes it difficult may just be that both sizes are equally suited for you. Which, at the end of the day, is perhaps a good problem to have.

Leg length for size L should be fine if I am doing my adding and subtracting correctly:
1. 782mm saddle height - 520mm seat tube length = 262mm
2. If we assume you get a 350mm seat post that has a 100mm minimum insertion length and your saddle stack is 30mm, you still have room for adjustment if needed (350mm - 100mm + 30mm = 280mm, so 18mm more than the required 262mm)

And I don't think your arms would be too short because both the L and XL frames have shorter reach compared to the Stevens.

Saddle-to-handlebar drop may require some pondering. The L frame would see you 39.6mm lower against the Stevens (see Size L diagram), for a total drop of 70mm. You can raise the handlebar, I don't know how much room there is for adjustment, however. A reasonably quick test would be to (temporarily) remove all the spacers from your Stevens and see how you get on with that position. If you are comfortable, size L is a good option.

Did exactly this. Moved all the spacers to the upside of the handlebar (looked shit af) and rode about 2hrs and did 56km. At first I thought that it was way more sportive. After some minutes I adapted and felt way more agile, speedy (i definitely was faster than before - i like). at the end of the ride I cant even tell much difference. But overall I liked this ride with 35mm lower handlebar.

No pain anywhere (except my butt thats normal). I felt a slightly little bit more pressure on my hands when I had them on the hoods but it was not unrideable.

Overall:

- The position felt good (8–10/10)
- Felt strange at first, then athletic/awesome, and normal by the end
- I could ride in this position for a long time
- No numbness
- No neck issues
- No shoulder issues
- No lower back issues
- Breathing was fine
- Could push hard
- Still okay after 2h20
- Didn’t want to go any higher
- Even fingers didn’t go numb anymore
- Nothing was worse except the look :D

I guess size L it is. will tinker around with some paintjobs now

The spacers on the bike are from Mondince. They have three points that attach to each other. That's why I had to have a headset spacer in addition so the cables were hidden.

I’ve been happy with my frame. Just built up the 296 and it’s sick. My biggest gripe is with Lexon and their handlebars. The bars feel/look fantastic but crack while torquing to 5nm (manufacturers specs). With how many folks this has happened to, I find it interesting that they have such good reviews on AE.

Anyway, wrong thread but here is my 296. Blacked out.

You send us a video from the painted frame on 28 April. Another with clearcoat on 29 april. And more than 2 weeks later the frame ready video??? I missed something  ... or are you also part of the Mondince AI army???

The delivery was held up due to reported problems with pushing the brake cable through the chainstay. The problem turned out to be excess glue. As far as I know, they weren't shipping.

Can you please show rear tire clearance? Looks really good.

I can fit an 6mm Allen key between the tire at its widest point and the frame in all four spots with room to spare. So there is probably between 7mm of clearance on each side with the TB’s measuring 52.8mm. I can actually fit an 8mm Allen key at 25 PSI but these are currently 35 PSI.

Blacked out.

ahhh shit Ive bought this lexon handlebar :|

but you know that all this articles, reviews etc. are only done for SEO? shitty way but you need to start with something to be visible in google ;) and now with all AI tools, 5 clicks and we got something for google ;p (is it working?
I doubt it)

How is it that your Thunderburt measures 52.8 in a 32mm internal width wheel. 2.1" should be 54mm? How is that possible? :O

My wheelset is 25mm IW, not 32. So 52 and 53mm makes sense for 25 and 35 psi respectively.

Hopefully your experience is better! I’ve reached out to Lexon. Just waiting to hear back from their after sales department. I’m expecting a refund or replacement. I’ll wait for the second bar to pass judgement. If they are not accommodating, I’ll unfortunately have to give them a negative review on their respective sites. I’m usually not that kind of guy, but this is a pretty big deal (relatively at least. Brand new product that cracks when torqued to specifications).

My thought is that the spacer that sits between the fork and stem is a bit too small, analyze this yourself though. Please only take my advice with a grain of salt. Others have had no issues, but many have had the exact issue (see the FM316/326 thread - I think
It’s in there somewhere).

This is absolutely INSANE. I genuinely cannot believe they did this. Any company with a process that allows the release of something like this must have some seriously concerning issues under the surface. This plus the fake reviews are a deep concern. yeeeeeesh

Quick update on my Mondince FM336 order:

The frame finally arrived today 😄🔥

Overall shipping to Germany was pretty fast. Ordered on April 7th and delivered today.

The paint job looks really good at first glance:
Chameleon No.10 with a glossy gradient into black pearl — exactly the kind of look I was hoping for. The color shift in sunlight is amazing.

There was a small mix-up during production because they accidentally painted an L frame first instead of my size S, but they noticed it themselves before shipping and corrected it.

Now it’s time to start the build 😄

Everything went together without any issues. No problems during the assembly and overall I’m really happy with how the FM336 turned out.

Current weight is 8.3 kg without bar tape (still needs to be installed).

Now it’s time for the first test ride 👀

Have two questions for you.

1) Gravel handlebar: Which one have you mount? I am thinking about the Aeroo Gravel
2) Real tyre clearnec in fork: Could you measure how much physical clearance do you have? Since I have read some guys mount something over 47mm Im thinking what to mount over there.

Thanks

1) I’m using an Ornan HBR16 Aero Road handlebar:
https://www.ornanbike.com/ultralight-aero-road-handlebars-295g-eps-with-one-piece-molding-tech_p189.html

It’s 400mm wide at the hoods and 430mm at the drops. Personally, I don’t like super wide gravel bars, so this setup feels much better for me.

2) Regarding tyre clearance: I’m running wheels with a 32mm internal rim width and the Caracal Race 40mm tyres measure around 45mm on these rims.

I’d say 47–48mm tyres are definitely possible without issues. Much wider than that would probably become difficult in my setup because I’m running 2x and the front derailleur would start to interfere.

Finaly done with the build.
Size M
SRAM rival gear/brakes
Force crank.
Ali seat, stem and bars.
Zipp wheels with Tufo Thunduro 45.

Just bought this exact color for my mom. She loves your bike. Out of curiosity, what’s the weight? Doing a similar build. Mix of apex, rival, and force.

It’s roughly around 3–4 mm with my current setup.
For a gravel bike with wide tyres and a 2x setup, that’s actually still totally okay 👍
In dry conditions it works perfectly fine, but around 45 mm is realistically the limit for this setup.

I’m actually considering switching to 35 mm Continental Terra Competition Race tyres.
They only weigh around 350 g and on my 32 mm internal width rims they should probably end up around 40 mm wide once mounted.
The only thing I’m unsure about is whether that’s already a bit too stretched on such a wide rim.

Tagoola states for the XPLR R32-50 rims:
“compatible with 700x36C–64C tires”

Also, there is a user here on the forum already running 36 mm Challenge Strada Bianca tyres on a similar internal width without any problems.

What do you guys think? Would 35 mm still be perfectly fine on a 32 mm internal rim, or already a bit too extreme?

My personal view based on the feedback from the gravel riders in general is that if you can go wider with lower pressure, the better. Of course its more weight and so but thee rest I believe is really personal and the usage you are gonna give to it

I am still asking what is the real maximum tyre size I can fit into it.

Maybe I ask because I am a bit biased from what the manufactures use to spec there. They normally goes some mm lower but not sure if this is the case.
I would really like to fit up to 47-48mm by spec that can end up into 49-50mm.
If this is really not possible, then I would have to go for 45m to end up on 47-48mm

Al this without the frameset here is actually quite difficult to decide. Hope Jack will send the frame by beginning of this week finally

My frame arrived yesterday, everything looks fine, no issues with getting the hydraulic break hoses through frame and fork, for testing purposes. Will need a few days to build up the bike, Shimano 2x12 GRX DI2 waiting to be installed.
Knowing the frame will be delivered on Monday, I've already laced my new wheelset with DT Swiss 350 (I'm not a fan of ratchet free wheels, but I had them in the drawer for quite a while) and TimeTec rims with 32mm IW, 49mm deepth, last weekend. I'll keep you posted ;-)

Hi guys! I was reading this topic since weeks and I'm negotiating with Mondince the price of my frame. They offer me frame+seatpost+handlebar+shipment+black mate for 665euro. What do you think? Which prices do you get from them about a setup like this? They told me custom paint +80 but I'm ok with black mate (I already have a MTB with that colour and love it).

My idea setup is:
FM336
di2 827 1x12 (I already have it)
CSC gravel wheels
Tyres (thinking on it)
Saddle Ryet carbon 3D (or something like that)
etc.

Total aprox budget about 2.2k or 2.3k

Which BB T47 do you have? I'm searching for something normal, not ceramic or extra expensive. I found a Miche T47 - 24mm - 85.5 compatible for about 30euro. I try to avoid china components on this as possible.

I'll use a Ztto BB, and I'm curious how long it'll last. Plan to replace the bearings if they're worn out.
If you want to avoid chineses compondentes, besides Miche you can have a look for a BB from Token. They're said to be reliable.

For sure 45mm fits becuase it would grow till 47,5-48mm, I dont think this will be an issue. But if I want to fit 47mm (which I would like to) then it can be tight, but not sure how much tight

Thanks for the measurements. I was actually thinking to put different tyre sizes. I think If I mount 47mm at front and 45mm on the back in a 30mm outer width wheel, it should reach the 49, something on the front. I will have to cut the tyre hears :)

Ehh, multiple mistakes on their site that make me question the legitimacy. Their gallery has Mondince labeled frames with some weird blurring of the logo. There is a 296 labeled as a 326. They also claim 20 years of service with zero complaints? Lots of unedited AI stuff too. The double dashes kill me. — vs - is so typically of AI.

Who knows. I could be totally wrong and perhaps they are legit. Hey, Mondince is using AI in weird ways too.

you would not believe me but Jack wrote me today one month after I did the payment saying that the size that came out from painting was the wrong one and he wanted to refund the money...

I am in discussion with him how to sort it out but of course it made me had to cancel all the short term plans because i will not have the time for build it in time.

Not sure if it happened to some of you guys but it is very frustrating..

That really sucks… 😕

I also had a mix-up with my order where they accidentally painted the wrong size first, but luckily they noticed it before shipping and corrected it afterwards.

So it seems that this kind of thing happens more often unfortunately.

I finally have two options for the tyres:

Option 1:
Tyres Front: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 50mm
Tyres Rear: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mm
Wheelset geometry: Depth 45mm x inner width 24mm x outer width 31mm

Option 2:
Tyres Front: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mm
Tyres Rear: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mm
Wheelset geometry: Depth 45mm x inner width 30mm x outer width 36mm

Of course option 1 is risky, since it theoretically let me keep only 4,4mm clearance on each side at fork.
What do you guys think?

Personally, I wouldn’t run anything with only 3mm of tire clearance. Industry standard is 4mm and it’s becoming 6mm for gravel. I think you could get away with 3mm if you are strictly riding champagne gravel in dry conditions, but that’s probably it.

Sorry I was too fast with the calculation. I edited my message above.
Clearance on each side is 4,4mm based on what the other user said (46,8mm width from a 44mm thundero + 6mm allen each side = 58,8mm real clearance). I still believe a 50mm could fit. If not maybe I can go for the 48HD from TUFO at the front and 44HD at the rear.

I also attached the video of my frame. Shipment will happen by tomorrow.

Hello, I don't know if you saw my post but I am using wheels with the same measurements as yours and I am running G-ONE RS 50mm front and G-ONE RS 45mm rear with vittoria airliners inside and no problem. There is enough clearance (6mm each side rear and maybe 5mm at the front)

Thank you very much. I'm investigating and CSC have two websites, confirmed legit by chat with CSC on Aliexpress.

In one of them, I can choose 40*38 with 29 internal, the price is more or less the same but in the site there is no option to promotions as Ali, but I think are a better option to choose...

It is tight but fits, I think I should be able to fit a 50mm on my side as well. You mentioned there is clearance for 5mm on each side, its seems to bit a bit less, maybe the perspective of the picture fake it a bit?. Did you mentioned once you have measured it at around 52mm total width? That would give a total physical clearance of 62mm, which I believe is a lot and not representing the reality.

I trust on you anyway but I will double check with my frame before ordering the tyres. Thanks a lot

I will double check again but yes, the inflate to approx 52mm. I haven't had any rubbing or anything at the fork. 45mm tires will inflate to 48-49 so I think that's safer if you want to do that. Also my tire doesn't have tall knobs. If you are going with the PRO R or RX that could be tighter.

Or is there anything else that I should know?

That is new to me, I thought both come for 140 ready, if bigger, an adapter is needed. It is also reflected in their specs like this

I am still struggling on what to mount as wheels.

Since I need something cheap and I already tried out elitewheels, I would like to go for some other brands to test.
Budget is up to 600 USD, any recommendation?
If I cannot find something in the next few days, I will grab the wheels that I have from my MTB from Speedsafe (34mm extern, 28mm internal, 28mm deep) 1390gr.

I have them. I am the owner of the purple FM336 that you can find in previous pages of this thread and in reddit. I have done 600km with those wheels (G-One RS + Vittoria Airliners) They are indestructible so far. I have had a fall where I ate a tree that was laying on the ground and I didn't see, and the wheel ate like nothing. Spokes kept the tension and the rim has no damage. I have eaten potholes because I didn't see them while chatting with my ride-pal and nothing. They weight 1390+- GR, 30mm IW, 36mm EW, 50 mm deep.

It took one week and a half for delivery (Germany). Production time, I don't know. Maybe the setup you want is already in stock. You must contact them through WhatsApp to know further information.

Hello FM336 owners

I ordered my "orange" frame last week, still struggling with the one and only question "dub wide" or not.

Want to run 1x13 drivetrain, 38T chainring.

Does anybody has installed the Dub normal version and got problems with clearance
 - chainring to chainstays
 - pedal (heel) to seatstays
 - or anything else annoying?

I would prefer a 45mm chain line with 145mm Q-Factor, but without any hassle...

Thanks for your advice.

Cheers
Alex

Just rolled the first metres with my FM336 size S GRX DI2 2x12, at the moment with a allroad wheel set.
The building process was a piece of cake with this frame, which is very well done. The provided head set bearings fit well. I have to say thanks to Mondince.
I'll finish building my new gravel wheel set with 32mm IW rims and the bike is ready for the Balkans summer tour.
Plan to use it for a 600km brevet end of next week, have to clock some km before to see if everything fits.

I have been investigating a bit what can be the better option to have grip where I needed and I ended up turning the idea of having the RS pro 45mm on the rear and the R pro 50mm on the front, but it leads to a possible very tight clearance.

This would mean the following
Option 1:
Front Schwalbe G-One RS Pro 45-622
Rear Schwalbe G-One R Pro 50-622

Option 2:
Front Continental Terra Competition Race 45-622
Rear Continental DUBNITAL 50-622 Race Rapid

Would you mind to measure distance from 50mm tyre to fork in vertical direction?

I've been doing a lot of research on gravel frames over the last week. Originally I had been looking at some of the new 57mm clearance frames, such as the SPcycle G028 or the Mondince FM346, but I will mostly be riding road with some gravel and this seems to be a more road focused bike. Because I'll mostly be riding road I likely will be running 40 or 45 tires, so the extra clearance on those frames would be wasted on me.

To those of you who have built up this frame, how do you like it on the road? Has the low bottom bracket caused any issues with pedal strikes when you're off road?

Thanks.

Finally I went for the serenade in 45mm, let see how good they are.
For the tyre, I made the move with RS 45mm on the back and R 50mm on the front. Have removed the screw from the bottom of the fork anyway. As the intermediate R pro block doesn't look that high, I've finally made up my mind.

I asked you if you could measured tyres clearance in vertical but since I did not want to wait more I went for that. If I see it too risky I will mount them anyway in my wifes gravel

I didn't want to go all integrated, so I ordered this Kocelvo aero gravel handlebar (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256812005160618.html (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256812005160618.html)) along with their integrated stem from this listing (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256810091223158.html). I'm a little concerned about the amount of flare on the bars (would prefer 10-15 degrees) but after a lot of searching these seemed the most promising for 440mm carbon bars.

Should be able to provide feedback in about a month once I receive the frame and get it built.

Wondering what handlebars folks have installed.  I prefer flared out for gravel.  I just ordered my frame and I enquired to Jack about their handlebar and he said their handlebar was "no good"  ;D

Lexon Unox on ali about all I can find but they are pricey and I've heard there are cracking issues

Thanks

I pulled the trigger for the Lexon unox at the end.
I read also quite positive opinions about it. I think it will be a matter of mounting it carefully and not overtightened it. will keep you post it in case I face any issue there

I'll give a chance to the mondince handlebar. Is the same as many other manufacturers so I trust in the performance, but I'm a little bit scary with those type of components coming from China...

After read about lexon cracking i went for this one. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010320677123.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.20.233218028xIhpl
cabling are hidden under the handlebar. Realy easy :-)
I did have to grind down the clamp to thigten it.

Mine cracked after tightening to 5 nm with a torque wrench. I am not a novice bike builder either. After further investigation, there were pits in the carbon that led to fair hairline cracks.

They refused to send a replacement but gave me a discount on a replacement.

If I had to do it again, I would go with avian.

Let see when I mount it. 5nm is actually not much, so if carbon cracks at that torque of course something is wrong.
I will inspect in purpose it before mounting, just in case

BTW today I managed to finally mount the tyres.

As mentioned, I went for R Pro 50mm at front (with more knob height than RS) and RS Pro 45mm on the rear.
See pictures attached to check clearance. Have removed the screw from bottom of the fork arc and covered it with tape.

I guess it depends on your brake caliper system. Most nowadays come with the ability to have both 160 and 180 mm rotors by flipping the bracket one direction for 160 mm and the other way for 180 mm.

No, the brake manufacturer normally provide the adapter, not the frame manufacturer.

My FM336 is built up with a Shimano GRX 2x12 Di2 groupset. For the front brake, I had to turn around the pre-installed adapter at the front caliper to change from a 180 mm to a 160 mm brake disc. The rear brake caliper does not come with a pre-installed adapter, and you need a 160 mm disc in the back out of the box. I have to say I'd prefer 140 mm for the rear brake. My rear wheel locks up way before I ever hit maximum braking power, so I don't see any reason to go bigger than 140 mm. The same goes for the front rotor. A 140 mm front rotor would deliver absolutely enough braking power.

For those who has ordered the Lexon Unox handlebar, how the hell I should mount the bearing with the compression ring and the sealing ring?

Are you guys using the kit that comes with the frameset? or are you using what comes with the handlebar?
whatever solution I try to implement it leaves a significant gap between spacers and frame.

Title: Re: Mondince FM336
Post by: MF_one on June 17, 2026, 12:18:14 PM
Just to clarify that 0. is the lexon spacer which match either 1. or 2.

3 and 4.compresion ring and seal that comes with frameset.

Combination of 0 + 1 means spacer is touching the top tube (to less gap) or 0 + 2 will result in a too big gap between spacers and frame.
Combination of 0 + 3 + 4 also leads to a big gap.

Obviously the headset kit from frameset (not reflected in the picture) I do not consider since this is not compatible with handlebar from Lexon.

Any help?

Hey I received my frame today, but I do not have you 3 and 4 spacer.
Mine are totally different, even the compression ring, both are in aluminium and they have pin on top, so i can only fit the mondince handlebar with hole matching the pin.

Maybe Jack forgot something for my headset and seal.

He forgot to send me the trap door of the fram  :-X

Jack sent me a video of my frame. It looks very clean. I think the green will look a little darker in person outside of the bright photo setup Mondince uses. Unfortunately there is a problem with the storage door and it will have to be remade before the frame is shipped. Hopefully it'll go out next week after the Chinese holidays.

The correct order would be: #1 on top of the bearing (inner race of the bearing), then insert the fork to make it tight and then #4. After that then #0. If you dont use #4 the base of the handlebar will rub against the frame. The compression ring #1 is very important so the fork is secured and tight. Otherwise there is going to be a lot movement (I did and undid the headset like 5 times  ;D)

Also wanted to post my work in progress.
This will be a multi-use bike, so with gravel wheels for offroad use and road wheels for road use.
Since no-one posted this yet, I figured I'd post a pic with the 28mm tires to show how it looks with road tires!

Colour is a specific Pantone I requested, looks nice but the paint does seem to chip easily if you're not that careful while installing...

More pics and specs will follow when finished, also still waiting for the gravelwheels which are lost in shipping  ::)

Assembly in progress. But I run some hiccups. I installed XG 4 pistons caliper with 160 mm discs front and rear. Looks like they need to be on 140 adapter front and no adapter at rear. But still I can't say up then straight without rubbing. Usually my toopre tool was enough but not here. This is my first 4 pistons caliper so maybe I'm doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Hi,
The issue is with your front brake setup: your flatmount adapter is installed upside down!
These front fork adapters are asymmetrical because they act as reversible plates to switch between 140 mm and 160 mm rotors. Since you are running 160 mm discs, you need to rotate the adapter by 180 degrees. Usually, there is a marking like "160 UP" with an arrow on the plate—that arrow must point upwards.
In its current position, the caliper sits at the completely wrong angle and distance from the rotor. That is exactly why you can't get it aligned without rubbing, even with your alignment tool.

I had it on 160 up and the caliper seats too high over the disc brake. I think this frame is 160/160 from the design.

For me the 160 up adapter is also not compatible with a 160 disc, was also planning to flip the adapter and check how that fits.

In this specific case, flipping it to the "140" position is actually the correct workaround to keep the spacing at 160 mm!

I have xg4 and they are a pain to bleed and set up. Make sure all the pistons are moving evenly. I've had some pistons to either be too slow to move or sometimes would not retract far enough. If you have lazy pistons, you can try to "activate" them like in this magura video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJI9ZrFMC1Y (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJI9ZrFMC1Y)
or they might need another bleed.
I also found that the gap between the pads on zrace calipers both 2 and 4 piston is way to narrow so they almost always rub.

I tried to bleed through both and didn't notice any difference. The rule of thumb I have is to use the one that's closer to the ground when I bleed but have no idea if it's correct.
I also found that bleeding with 2 syringes gives better results than a syringe with a funnel

Yes it was difficult to fit it in, I had to demount the seatpost from frame put everything together and mount it to frame again.
Yes, the silver plate with certain rugosity on the inner side is the part you need to put to clamp the seatpost. Do not apply any grease there

Has anyone bought a size XS yet?

Small would likely fit me but I have also been looking at sizing down for a more aggressive fit. 15mm lower stack whilst only losing 10mm from the top tube, seat tube and head tube angles remain the same and wheelbase only reduces by 9mm. My biggest concern is with the seat tube length and weather the frame will look ridiculously small with a 440mm seat tube. Maybe not as bad as the 316 with a 410mm seat tube. I am planning to do more of a gravel racing build that can also be used on the road as a "winter road bike" so I want a fairly aggressive fit. I was considering the fm296/gr201 but I don't like the look of the longer seat stays and steeper head tube angle.

I just have a small issue with the magnetic downtube storage cover, as it comes off really easily, it came off with 0,5 l bottle when hitting a small bump at moderate speed. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Yes on both frames, I wouldn't say it is loose, it doesnt rattle and without bottle it is all good. I just can't really imagine that weak magnet holding a water bottle securely.

Two possible solutions, that i came up with are having a velcro strap over the cover, or drilling a hole into the cover and making some kind of mechanical lock mechanism that locks it in place from inside.

I just have a small issue with the magnetic downtube storage cover, as it comes off really easily, it came off with 0,5 l bottle when hitting a small bump at moderate speed. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

No issue with the magnet, today I rode with 0.75L bottle and made its job. Way was a bumpy one, actually some water went oout due to vibration but it worked.

I wanted to ask you which handlebar and stem have you mounted. I am thinking in building a second one for my wife and it seems to be a good choice. Thanks

So far, I've more or less just used my FM366 as an all-road/endurance bike, clocking 1,200 km in two weeks, including a 600 km brevet and a 300 km ride from Berlin to the Brocken. The storage cover sits rock-solid in the frame. Even with a big 800 ml bottle, it stays where it should on rough pavé. Longer gravel/off-road rides are soon to come.

Thanks, stem is https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGffLj8, the handlebar is https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJgx8hG
One small issue with the stem is, that there is relatively small amount of spacers included.

Do you think you have space for clip on aerobars on these bars?

There is approx 1 cm on each side of the stem, so not whole lot of space  :-\

I am planning to improve a bit the headset kit from what it comes from manufacturer.
Can someone maybe help me with that?

Specs are:
Headtube:   1-1/2" Upper and Lower (Integrated); 52mm ID, 56mm OD
Bearing Size:   52mm OD, 40mm ID Upper And Lower; 7mm Height Upper, 7mm Height Lower

Does it mean I cam buy the following from Acros (for instance) and improve the assembly?
IS52 lower part 48.02.601R2S‑1.5
IS52 upper part ICR 48.02.610R1S
ICR compression ring (aluminium) 11.02.092‑AM
ICR headset cover 24.52.113-OD56-AM

Would that be compatible? All of them are for IS52 sstandard

Upgrades are always nice, but are you having any problems with your headset? My stock headset from Mondince has been working flawlessly with zero issues so far.

I do not like the cover they provided for the cable routing, also the compression ring is not the best. Bearing so far no issue, but I would like to change for the Acros one that is well sealed against dust and humidity.

Hi all,

I am planning to improve a bit the headset kit from what it comes from manufacturer.
Can someone maybe help me with that?

Specs are:
Headtube:   1-1/2" Upper and Lower (Integrated); 52mm ID, 56mm OD
Bearing Size:   52mm OD, 40mm ID Upper And Lower; 7mm Height Upper, 7mm Height Lower

I'm also planning to build a bike with this frame, but I'm a bit confused about the headset specification, too.

Does Mondince mean that "1-1/2" Upper and Lower" refers to the headset bearing size, while the fork steerer is still the standard tapered 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" (28.6 mm upper / 40 mm lower)?

My main question is about stem compatibility. I'd like to use a Syncros RR 2.0 stem (or possibly another integrated stem/cockpit). Does anyone know if the SYNCROS IS52/31.8 – IS52/42 headset is compatible with this frame? https://www.syncros.com/de/de/product/syncros-is52-31-8---is52-42-headset?article=2882490001222

Has anyone here used the Mondince integrated stem? If so, how is the quality? Are there any issues with cable routing or bearing preload?

Also, what are the key specifications I need to check when choosing a compatible stem or cockpit?
- Top cover with an outer diameter of 56 mm?
- Bearing dimensions (IS52)?
- Compression ring?
- Anything else?

Thanks in advance!

This is a partial answer at best (I don't have this frame) but many Chinese road and gravel frames more or less adhere to what I'll call the FSA ACR / Deda DCR headset standard.

FSA NO. 55R 1.5" ACR STD
https://www.fsaproshop.com/products/no-55r-1-5-acr-std?_pos=1&_sid=087a37289&_ss=r

Deda DCR Headset (this page has a nice 'spare parts' PDF for reference)
https://dedaelementi.com//headset-dcr

- tapered 1-1/2" (38.1mm) lower to 1-1/8" (28.6mm) upper fork
- upper and lower 1-1/2" angular contact bearings (ACB) for integrated headset, 51.8/51.9 × 40 × 8mm
- top cover for ø 56mm frame headtube

If I see it correctly, the Syncros components you mentioned don't follow this standard as they assume a 1-1/4" (31.8mm) upper fork steerer (a Syncros/Scott idiosyncrasy).

++++++ REVIEW TIME  8) ++++++

USED PARTS:
- Mondince FM336 with custom Paint Job
- Ryet 3D Printed saddle
- Elitewheels SLR Gravel (god they are loud! :-D)
- TPU Tubes
- Setback Saddle by mondince
- Sunshine Cassette 12 Speed 11-46T
- Senicx T47 BB
- Senicx PR3 Gravel Crankset 170mm crankarm, 40T Chainring
- Kocevlo X01 Handlebar
- Ltwoo egr electronic groupset (Bought used)
- Shimano 160mm Discs

COSTS
Overall I paid around ~2000€ of which are only 1700€ parts for the bike (like the frame, handlebar etc.) and 235€ materials like mineral oil and tools and other stuff.
thats kind of a bargain for a bike like that. I currently weighs about 9kg which is kind of good for a gravel bike i think - what do you think?

ORDER AND DELIVERY
- Ordered on 12th May 2026 via Mail
- Delivered 19th June 2026
- They had some Issues on my order so it was delayed. When Jack told me the package is sent it took roughly 10 Days to arrive in Germany
- Package was well secured and no damage at all. I wish they had put some parts descriptions or even a manual in there as there were parts in the package which I dont know what to do with them but so far everything was right and when I built up the bike my questions about some parts answered itself.
Rating: 8/10 very well experience. Jack responded quick. Delivery was quick but with the delays in my order I cant give 10/10

UNBOXING AND BUILD
Unboxed everything and the paint job was exactly as ordered by me. Also the frame was very well manufactured: I saw no sharp ends anywhere or problems with the paintjob. As a first time builder it took me about 2-3 days to build the whole thing. I think thats fine. Only issue I ran into were the mounting brackets for the brakes. I use 160mm Discs front and rear. When I mounted the calipers with the 160 Ltwoo adapter the brakes were only slightly touching the discs. I showed it to a local bike mechanic and he also said "that looks wrong - try another adapter). I then used the 140mm adapter and thats it. So I dont know what thats about but It works now.
Rating 9/10

RIDING EXPERIENCE
Building the bike I decided to first try out road tyres and took it up a local hill. Performed pretty well. No rattling, no shaking. Just a fun bike to ride. A week later I went on a tougher Gravel route together with a friend of mine and hell yeah that was fun! Had some schwalbe tyres with only 45mm on it but the bike performed outstandingly well! Fast ascending on forest tracks, lot of stability on "single-trails" descending and a lot of speed too. I still have some Issues with my hands as I think the Ltwoo brifters are kind of small and maybe my handlebar is also a bit too short. But nothing I cant fix. New parts are already ordered and will be delivered today.
So the only 3 things I miss a little bit:
1) a slightly lighter gear for climbing (maybe trying a 48T or even 50T Cassette? Experiences?
2) a bit more top speed when descending roads (had 60 km/h max which is a bit low)
3) a bit wider brifters of the ltwoo as I think my hands are a bit too large ( any ideas how to fix it?)
Rating 10/10

Attached some pictures with road tyres and gravel tyres aswell as standard and setback seatpost.

Glad I discovered this forum. I never thougt I would be able to build up my own bike with kind of high end parts on a budget.

But the best thing: I have learnt a LOT and the next project will come soon: Road bike for my first race and triathlon ( suggestions? thought about the prebuilt seraph tt-x42 or tt-x71 or tt-r18)

Hi Spongel, verty nice build!
Go 2x and you'll have no gearing issues IMHO. Plus better chain line, less cross shifting.

My build is finally done.

Assembly went quite smooth. Brake mounts wasn't finished well and paint on the furry in this place was a bit chipped. I gave up with XG4 calipers as they barely worked on the front and didn't work at all in the rear no matter how long I bled them.

Only issue I have now that the storage cover fel off two times during a ride with a bottle and chipped the paint 🫤. I don't know what going on with it. I taped it for a now. Does anybody have same issue?

Build looks great, I had the same issue with the cover on both of my frames. You just have to push on it in the top area, when it is set in place by the magnet, until you feel a click and then it holds very well.

How much torque are you guys using for the seatpost clamp set screws? Mondince told me 12Nm, but this sounds high for a carbon frame and seat tube. I just want to verify it before I crack anything.  ;D

Turns out Mondince sent me the torque for the saddle clamp. I clarified I was asking about the seatpost clamp and they told me 6Nm for the set screws.

I always tighten screws by feel, and never ran into a problem doing so. The seat post clamping mechanism works great, I changed the original seat post (which I really liked, but it's a bit to short for my saddle hight) against a Elita One post and forgot to pack carbon paste when leaving for the Balkans, and it does not slip despite there's no carbon assembly paste at all.

I received my frame last week from https://light-cycling.com/shop/gravel-bike-frame/lightcycling-pace-gf06/.  Ordered and paid on june 25th, so around 4 weeks between ordering and delivered.  I paired it with their own aero road handlebars instead of the gravel, I don’t really like the flare and will be using it primarily as an all-road bike anyway.  They were very responsive and helpful through whatsapp and made sure they understood what I ordered and they updated me along the process with photos and a video.

Packaged well in a cardboard box and lots of foam.  All accessories were packaged in ziplock bags.  Went for Pantone 2645C which is some kind of violet.  Turned out pretty accurate.  Painting is very good, very well finished, bottom bracket and mounting points look very clean so I expect no big problems when building it up.
Had some minor issue due to the compression ring and bearing cap that stacked too high, which meant there was too big of a gap between bearing cap and frame.  Solved it with a dremel and a little patience, now it's perfect.  They told me they will look into it and solve it for future orders so no DIY will be needed  :)

Will build it up with Force XPLR, Zen carbon wheels (road wheels only for now) and will probably add some adhesive vinyl to customize it.  I'll post again when done.

Why did you order from Light-cycling, if I may ask? From what I gather they resell Mondince frames with a markup, offering more streamlined ordering experience and additional QC. But it's not entirely true it seems. Did you get a quote from Mondince too before ordering?

Hello,

I'm currently building my 336 and, to my disappointment, I may have bought a stem that isn't compatible: the **Deda Superbox V2**.

After doing some research, I found that Deda sells dedicated headset adapters/top covers for different frames. Looking around, the 336 seems to have a headset very similar to the **Cube Nuroad**.

Has anyone run into the same issue?

Would the Cube Nuroad Deda top cover/adapter work on the 336? Any feedback from someone who has already tried it would be greatly appreciated before I spend another €100 on the adapter.
The problem is that the **compression ring pushes the top cover up**, leaving a gap of about **6–7 mm**.

From what I've been reading, this seems to happen when the DCR adapter/top cover isn't matched to the headset geometry.

Has anyone with a **336** managed to solve this? If so, which **Deda top cover/adapter** did you use?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I spend another €100 on an adapter that may not fit.

Thanks!

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. If I can't modify a compression ring to make the Deda SuperBox work, I wouldn't recommend Deda for this type of build (Chinese frames).

Just so everyone knows, Deda compression rings have a different chamfer compared to FSA or universal ones. Deda also sells dedicated adapters for each frame brand, but they cost almost as much as the stem itself.

Deda sells compression rings for both 45° and 36° internal bearing chamfers.

Deda compression ring for DCR
HDCOMPRDCR - 45° internal bearing chamfer (black)
EAN 8052783486580

Deda compression ring for ACR
HDCOMPRACR - 36° internal bearing chamfer (grey)
EAN 8052783486924

Or swap the bearing to match the compression ring you have.

Hi Yes!

Deda reponse my answer.

In case anyone is considering buying a Deda stem Superbox V2, keep in mind that you may need a dedicated compression ring.

I contacted Deda, and they replied first thing on Monday morning. After I sent them the dimensions of the Mondice compression ring and the size of the gap, they confirmed that this is the correct compression ring for my setup (around €37), although it can be found a bit cheaper online.

Hopefully this helps anyone facing the same issue.

I'm glad to hear they were able to help. :) I'm in a similar situation in my build where the included compression ring does not work with the spacers that came with the Kocelvo stem I'm using, so it's on hold until parts come in. I had assumed the stem would either come with a compression ring, or the one included with the frame would work. It's my first build, so I'm certainly learning as I go.

Yes, that's exactly why feedback like this is so helpful.

I really liked the look of the Deda Superzero but you don't realize the compatibility issue until you get to the final assembly.

I assume you bought the stem that the other member recommended? If I had done the same, I probably wouldn't have run into this problem either.

I was genuinely surprised by how quickly Deda replied to my email.

It's the stem from this listing: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256810091223158.html
I think someone else here mentioned it earlier in the thread. I'm pairing it with these Kocelvo bars: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256810300965066.html since I prefer wider bars, and the max drop width is 380mm on the first listing.

**There are plenty of options. I actually went for the aluminum one. I weigh 86 kg, so for me it's not about whether it's a Chinese or a non-Chinese product. I simply feel more confident with aluminum, even if it sacrifices some comfort since it absorbs less vibration than carbon. But anyway, there will always be time to change it later! 😄 ;D ;D ;D

I have this setup. 80mm stem with 380 mm bar.

Hi,

What's the length of the included seatpost?  And what's the minimum length that must be inside the seat tube?

I'm 194cm, usually 82cm BB to saddle.  It looks like the seat clamp is 2-3cm from the top tube, so the seat tube of the XL is effectively 52cm - leaving 28-30cm exposed (allowing for the saddle).  Does that leave enough in the seat tube?  Or would I be better with something like the GR201 which has a higher seat tube?

Also, has anyone tried putting a rack on it yet?  (Commuter)

Thanks

What compression ring did you end up using? I ordered the black one the Kocelvo sells (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256808887652005.html (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256808887652005.html)) as well as a silver one from the Qiyue store (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256811740998997.html (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256811740998997.html)) along with some spacer shims to (hopefully) make sure some combination will work.

I had some c ring from Winspace handlebar I used. It was 6.5 mm thick and put the 0.5 mm spacer on top. I think the best option would be the one from Kocevlo 7.3 mm.

Perfect - thank you!  So it's a 400mm post which should be long enough with a few cm to spare.

I'm trying to decide between the FM336 or the FM296/GR201/GV201 - has anyone built or ridden both and can compare?

Hi, yes this is the one.

More rides report and this bike goes fast  ;D Cover closed properly doesn't go off. I went racing yesterday for a 100 km race. I felt comfortable 4 hours in the saddle. I think I could brake 4 hours but I was waiting for my female friend couple times.

Hey Lotnik
Did you have an issue with the painitng on your frame before he sent it?
The reason I ask was because I was onto Mondince during this week looking to buy an FM336 and he said he had some prepainted ones in stock if I could be tempted.
One of them looked very similar to yours , in L, but the paint on the bottom of the fork was a bit 'redder' then the back.As it was a L it was too big otherwise I would have probably bought it!!

Also for those who are using it on the road how are you finding it?
I plan to use mine as primarily as road bike with 40mm road tyres!

Oh so this one is still there. I thought they changed the fork only. Because I requested orange fork without rivets. And the one that came has no rivets and different painting. And look what answer I've got when asked about it😉
Still the painting is not exactly what I wanted. Finnish should be sparkling and it's not. I wonder if this frame has sparkling finnish then 😛

Its defintley a different colour on the forks.
I remarked on the colour difference and he didnt deny it!!

Chinese just want to sell. They will admit failures if you can show to them. Do not expect he is going to tell you all the issues. Also he blamed on his former coworkers, he said not reliable enough but this is an issue in whole china, so I dont blame him back for it.

For me it is very important that before the shipping you guys get a video and a final check of everything before packaging preparation. If not push for it, he wil not have any problem in share it. Also ask for him to check all the screws, he did not check mine and I have a defective one in top tube, I asked back for money and he supported me.

Also now that we talk about headset-stem combo. This is probably the weakest part of the assembly.

Can we between all of us elaborate a list of possible headset stem combination that works and fit well? On my side I had to do magic at the end to install the Lexon with the headset included.
What do you think?

I think it's a good idea. I'll add my contribution:

**Deda Superzero V2 — a compression ring 2.2 mm shorter was required. It is the ring compatible with Dare bikes.**

I can also put what I have finally use.

I bought the Lexon integrated gravel handlebar and ended up using the aluminum compresion ring that comes from the frameset supplier and a sealing from Acros to properly seal in vertical direction against the frame. The seal that comes by default was leaving the handlebar touching the frameset (not a good idea)

LEXON UNOX 28,6 mm T1000 Gravel Bar + Acros fork cone IS52 + Aluminium compression ring from Mondince

Still the result is not super optimal but was the way to make it work without having to sacrifice the handlebra

I bought this frame, and already regret it. First of all one of the rivets is spinning endlessly. But it’s nothing compared to the main issue with my frame. It is impossible to push the brake hose through the rear triangle because there is so much glue/resin inside the tube. Typical chinese QC.

Kind of hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like it should be possible to remove the blockage. As for the rivet, which one and have you contacted Mondince about it?

The Deda ring compresor part fits perfectly.

Has anyone experienced the fork expander moving upwards when tightening the headset top cap to 1.5 Nm?

I’m waiting for the 50 mm expander to arrive. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, this also happened to my steerer tube. Even carbon install paste couldn‘t solve that issue completely. After fitting a 50 mm expander it seems to be holding well.

I had the same problem. Masked the hole and used a chainsaw file to make the hole bigger. A little extra work, but easier than returning.

I installed a 50 mm expander from AliExpress, but the top cap is still slipping. I cleaned the inside of the steerer tube with isopropyl alcohol and applied carbon assembly paste, but it still starts slipping before I even reach 2 Nm.

I’m running out of patience with this!

Mondice has confirmed that carbon assembly paste should not be used on this part.

Without carbon paste, I can reach the required torque (1.5–2 Nm), but the expander lifts slightly when I tighten the top cap.

I definitely do **not recommend the AliExpress expander**. In my case, it’s completely useless.

Finally got the bike together after some delays for parts and just being busy. Came out at 18.6 lbs without pedals, 19 lbs with them. A solid 7 lbs lighter than the aluminum flat bar bike I've been riding on the road. Going to take it for a test ride before I wrap the bars. The build went smoothly. The brake mounts are pretty flat, but I couldn't get rid of 100% of rubbing so I've ordered a tool to face them. Very happy with how it's come together.

Edit: Went on a quick 1 hour shakedown ride. Apart from the saddle coming loose (my fault) it rode great. This thing feels like a rocket compared with my old bike. I was a little worried about sizing a bike I couldn't test ride, but size L and an 80mm stem is working well for me (6ft tall with a long torso) and I didn't feel the wrist and shoulder discomfort I'm used to on my flat bar bike. Compared with the narrower tires on my old bike these 40c Michelin Pro5s felt very comfortable over bumps. Looking forward to getting out on a longer ride soon. :)

I had the same issue, what torque are you using to tighten the expander plug? I tried carbon paste, but I feel like it made it even worse, than i cleaned it and it seems fine now.

Finally better without paste, better dry, Finally I use Deda expander of 70mm

Finally on the road!

After several attempts, I’ve finally managed to take my Mondice gravel bike out for its first ride.

The bike is not completely finished yet, as I’m still waiting for the final wheelset, which will be a set of CSC gravel wheels. The current wheels are a second-hand set originally from a Bianchi, which I’m using temporarily.

I also had a few issues with the Deda Superzero stem, mainly due to incompatibility between the compression ring and the expander. In the end, I solved it by switching to a 70 mm Deda stem. One important thing I discovered: do not use carbon assembly paste with this setup.

Final build & cost

- Frame: €585
- Second-hand wheelset (ex-Bianchi): €200
- Zipp seatpost: €60
- Shimano GRX 827 groupset: €1,050
- Ryet saddle: €40
- Deda Superzero handlebar: €100
- Deda Superzero stem: €85
- Deda compression ring: €35
- Deda expander: €20
- Miche bottom bracket: €30
- Handlebar tape: €5

Total: €2,210

So far, I’m very happy with how the bike feels. I’ll post some more pictures and a proper review once I have the final CSC wheels fitted.

Put in an order with Jack yesterday after a year of no riding since my CWind GT30 was stolen, looking forward to a new build!

$1400 NZD ($817 USD) for frame+handlebars+seatpost+paint+shipping to NZ. I asked Jack if they would also paint the handlebar (wanted to paint stem but he said it's integrated) and seatpost and he said they could. Never had a painted seatpost or handlebar so curious to see how it goes, guessing I'll just sand down the post so it fits into the frame.

Nice paint scheme!

I have just about finished my build.
I used the spacers and integrated handlebar from my elves (that I sold)
I think it worked out quite well.
